This tea lived up to my expectations. A lovely, delicate jasmine scent and a light, clean flavor.
Perfumy hand-rolled tea from Fuding, in Fujian, China. Each pearl is just one leaf and a bud. When added to hot water, the pearls majestically unfurl, releasing a delicate scent and flavor. Sweet and almost sugary.

This tea lived up to my expectations. A lovely, delicate jasmine scent and a light, clean flavor.
my wife loves this tea. its a little pricier than what we're used to but the cost is so worth it.
Quick steep this one for best flavor. I like to resteep to explore how the flavors change each time.
It was snowing outside when I had a cup of this for the first time, and it was like spring in a cup. The smell was wonderful and it was really nice to drink. I added a little honey.
reminds me of our time in China awaiting the adoption of our daughters
A gentle green tea with a beautiful jasmine scent. Steeps to a clear, sunny yellow. It’s one of the few teas I’ll use my finger-burning glass infuser for, just so I can watch the pearls unfurl. I usually get at least two steeps from a teaspoon (3 grams), then sometimes I keep the leaves in my infuser when adding whatever next flavor of tea I’m making. Sometimes, I open my storage container just to smell these!
I ordered the sample pack and will be ordering more!
Delicious and I love watching it open up in the hot water. I got my mom to love this tea also!
This is a realize nice jasmine. The pearls are unique and that adds to the tea experience. I would suggest trying this if you like jasmine!
I love these. I don't need too many pearls to get the desired taste.
Smell is really strong in pouch but mellows once brewed. Sweet taste but not over bearing and a nice light tea. Not much sugar needed. Also if not going the sugar route, pairs VERY nice with some sakura honey.
Very calming and relaxing while drinking. A tea worthy of Uncle Iroh
One of the best jasmine pearls I´ve had. Truly remarkable.
The aroma of this tea is simply perfect. taste is slightly sweet but definitely not overbearing. drinkable by itself but great with a little bit of honey as well. a great tea if you enjoy jasmine teas, plus its fun to watch the pearls unfurl!
A nice light tasting Jasmine tea. Perfect afternoon tea.
Very floral, and paler than I expected. It still tasted nice, and the leaves are definitely good for re-steeping
Love the smell of jasmine with a hint of sweetness.
I have been searching for a jasmine green tea to replace the Teavana and NobiliTea teas that are both discontinued (out of business). Friends recommended Adagio, and I love it! Usually steep 2-3 minutes with a hint of rock sugar.
Love these pearls! Nice bite with a mellow floral. One of my favorite pearl teas!
This tea is amazing! Slightly exotic, light and floral, it’s a perfect tea to enjoy when I want to relax and enjoy the zen of a great cup of tea, this is one I drink just as it is-no sugar, no cream!
The first tea I fell in love with was a Jasmine Phoenix Pearl tea, so this one is an immediate favorite.
A hit with my kids - they have expensive tastes, apparently. Yum!
This is just what I am looking for from a jasmine pearl tea. My son and I love to watch the pearls unfold as it brews. Very nice jasmie aroma and good boost in the morning.
This tea is almost identical to the tea I bought while in China! It brews and tastes delicious! It has a great jasmine flavor and is smooth! Love the pearls they smell amazing!
I love jasmine teas and thes one is great. It goes a long way so I can even get extra cups.
This is the best jasmine tea I’ve tried from Adagio.
Love the strong yet smooth flavor and scent of this tea. It is now my favorite Jasmine Tea
I thought maybe this would help me appreciate jasmine teas, but as with other jasmines, I was overwhelmed by the cloying perfume-like aroma. If you already know you like jasmines, you probably shouldn't listen to me, as maybe you can appreciate the subtley.
Like drinking a cup of perfume--in a good way! I loved everything about these, including watching the little pearls unfurl in the water. The scene is intense, but I love perfume-y teas, so I was delighted. Delicious both hot and as a cold brew.
I like this tea as an occasional alternative, but the jasmine flavor is sometimes too strong to drink all the time consistently.
This is a very good jasmine tea, and it stands up well to a second and even a third steeping.
My favorite tea of all! I love this tea for aromatherapy First thing in the morning! I found this helpful when I was trying to cut back on coffee and found the aroma was what I missed most. I always can rely on this for gifts to friends!
I used to buy Jasmine pearl tea with Teavana. Since they closed I had to order from somewhere else. I had been drinking Jasmine tea for a long time and I know what a good cup of tea should taste like. This is my 1st time ordering from Adagio and their Jasmine Phoenix Pearls is the best. It's better than Teavana. I had made both tea and tasted side by side. Adagio tea is far better. It has a nice natural jasmine scent and the tea itself is not dark or bitter. On their postcard that came with the tea, it says the leaves were picked in the spring.
My all time favorite Jasmine green tea. Very flavorful, not bitter and lovely aroma and taste. It's a little more expensive so I drink it when I want a bit of a treat. As I always do, adding a little honey brings out the flavors for me.
I got a sample of this today and I am in LOVE. Soft delicate flavor that smells of deliriously wonderful jasmine. I will absolutely be getting this again!
Has a really nice jasmine flavor. I liked it a lot and will be reordering.
I love this tea and watching it unfurl. Tea can become bitter if left steeping too long.
These are fantastic, to me jasmine tea is about the tea underneath the flowers and how well they work together. This is a fine example that I really enjoy. Buy with confidence.
I rate this tea high up on my list just after Golden Monkey as a must have!!! The flavor has an earthiness that is lite and refreshing yet full of great taste. It almost seems impossible to have such rich flavor yet feel so light, it doesn’t soak into your taste buds a linger there it wakes them up with such great flavor without any after taste or dryness.
The jasmine was too strong for me. It made it taste a bit soapy.
This classic jasmine tea is our favorite, it has a very delicate and fragrant taste!
Wonderful floral flavor. This tea is very smooth and delicate, while still retaining body and natural sweetness and brews up great multiple times. I like my tea with a little bit of bitterness which I was able to get by brewing it for a touch longer in the first brewing.
One of my all time favorites. My son says it “smells like summertime.” The smell of Jasmine tea always has a calming effect on me, and I always look forward to watching the pearls unfurl as the steep. I can get a second steep out of them, so don’t be turned away by the price. This tea is well worth it.
Delightfully fragrant. The smell of this tea is, of course, heavily floral, but not unpleasantly so. The pearls expand upon brewing (Boy howdy) and my whole office smells of jasmine. The flavor is much more mild than I d expect. Very calming and meditative.
This tea is heaven. I've always been intrigued by jasmine tea, but have never purchased - I'm usually a black tea drinker. But after reading reviews I decided to give this one a try. The smell is just incredible, and the taste is light and fresh. I added just a little tupelo honey and it is the perfect cup of tea. I think this will be a pantry staple.
Love, love, love this tea!!! Cannot say enough good things about it!
Uncle Iroh, I trust your wisdom on many issues and tea is one of them! Great choice!
Unfortunately, this just wasn't for me. I think the flavor was too perfumey and overpowering for my liking. I don't plan on buying more. That said, if I ever come across more somehow, I'll try steeping this one for less time like one of the other comments recommended. If you also find the flavor overpowering, I recommend doing the same.
I'll admit, this tea has grown on me.
At first smell, it smells like an old person's house LOL.
However, the flavor does not represent the scent. A very flowery and aeromic green tea flavor. It's not my favorite, but I do appreciate the uniqueness
Just right floral scent. I’ve tried jasmine greens that have no discernible scent or else they feel like drinking hot perfume. Once you find that sweet spot it’s very well balanced.
The fragrance is excellent and does not 'brew out' in the tea. I bought them especially to mix with whole leaf green tea. One pearl in a cup is perfect. I have a Cuisinart kettle that allows me to set the temp of the water and the 2nd lowest setting of 175 brings out plenty of flavor. I may try breaking them up in a food processor to mix with some of the tea that is not whole leaf.
