A bouquet of strong fresh floral scents were noted from my communiTEA packet.

I steeped my tea at 195°F until the pearls were almost completely unfurled. I pulled the steep after two and a half minutes. Second steep was for one and a half minutes, since the tea was already primed and awake.

When hot, strong jasmine floral scents and flavors were noted. Mild honey flavors were appreciated.

When warm, jasmine tastes remained strong. Honey flavors moderated. A very smooth and buttery mouthfeel was noted. A moderate astringency was present at towards finish.

I couldn’t really taste any green tea flavors. Jasmine aromas and flavors were just too cloyingly floral. I’m one who has a hard time walking through the department store perfume section without choking. Some folks may really love this tea, though. Just not me. A second steep tasted the same. I drank and finished both steeps. (1st steep: 2 mins 30 secs/2nd steep: 1 min 30 secs @ 190ºF, no additions)

The best part about this tea was watching the little pearls expand, which took about 3 steeps of 2 minutes. The jasmine taste is strongest on the first brew and a vegetal taste is more prominent by the second. I had trouble tasting the tea itself between the bitter astringency of a longer brew and the light taste of a shorter brew. The most palatable way for me to brew this tea was 1 tsp of pearls in 6 oz water for 90 seconds at a time, which produced a floral honey taste followed by a deep vegetal floral tea. This is a tricky tea where any variance in water type or brew temp can ruin the cup, good if you really want a challenge I suppose. I like Adagio’s Jasmine Chun Hao better because of the buttery smoothness and lack of astringency, as well as the more satisfying tea taste overall. I also find Imperial Jasmine tea from another vendor superior – more depth of jasmine and green tea flavors for lower prices. Overall, this tea is fun to watch bloom, but it just doesn’t taste enough like tea for me to enjoy it.

This was too much jasmine for me. I don’t care for tea when I can taste the floral notes.

Reminds me a lot of elderflower liqueur. Very floral. I'm not very familiar with jasmine, but it's very lavender-y! A very delicate, yummy green tea. Seems good for one to two resteeps, which is nice!

A treat for your eyes, a treat for hour nose and a treat for your tongue. Delicately delicious tea! And so much fun watching the pearls unfurl. Highly recommend steeping the tea in a glass mug. This tea is great for multiple steeps. I actually experimented adding a few pea flowers to the tea for fun and it produced a delightful blue ombré tea (and didn’t affect the taste noticeably since jasmine pearls have a strong taste).

Let the queen make her entrance. She opens slowly and knows you are watching her buds unfurl. But it will be worth the wait. Sweet. Delicate. Floral perfume. Perfect.

I free-infused this in a clear glass and it was fun watching the leaves unfurl! The Jasmine notes are light and flavorful, and it’s good for multiple cups.

I just couldn't get on board with this one. It tasted so strongly medicinal to me, almost like a cleaner. Not a fan.

I love it! I wish the price is cheaper, but anyhow, I’ll purchase again.

Jasmine and Green tea always go together wonderfully, but the smooth, floral flavor of this tea, specifically, has always just been a step above others.

These are my ABSOLUTE favorite type of Jasmine. It's so smooth, and absolutely delicious, I cannot get enough of it. Slightly floral, with just enough sweetness that you don't need any sugar (Though I still add some, cause I have a sweet tooth). 1000000/10

One of my favorite green teas. The jasmine is very pleasant.

So perhaps I'm spoiled by my local tea shop with jasmine pearls, but these were kind of average to me. There was no slight hint of honey from their steeping that I'm used to, but they still make a decent cup of tea.

I was hesitant as this is part of my first order with Adagio, but not disappointed! The tea indeed tastes young, tender & fresh, and a lovely balance with jasmine. Also highly recommend steeping in a glass pot so you could see the leaves unfurl.

I think this is my favorite tea at this time, fragrant and tasty.

I really liked this tea. From the first smell I felt like I was sticking my nose inside a bouquet of fresh flowers. Next time I'm going to add a little honey as I like it to be a little more sweet.

Outstanding green tea. Don't over steep or it will get bitter.

My boiled water cooled down faster than I expected, but it was still a good cup of tea. I'm very picky with jasmine teas, but this tastes just like ones I've enjoyed at restaurants & sushi bars. Because of the foods I associate it with, I consider this a good 'lunch tea', but it's equally delicious in the morning.

Vey smooth and light green tea. The reason that I rate it four stars is the Jasmine scent. It was a bit heavy for me and started to taste of perfume or soap by the end of my second cup.
Others may appreciate the scent.

A very light tasting, elegant jasmine perfume on this tea.

This is definitely a 'wake-you-up' tea with a lovely aroma to it! The best part is that you can use the same tea leaves again to make a mellow, wind-down tea - still with the same jasmine aroma.

Unique taste and long lasting flavor the longer you brew.

This tea is fun to brew and watch the tea leaves uncurl. I love any kind of jasmine tea with sushi

This is my first experience with jasmine pearls, and they are mesmerizing when they unfurl in the cup. The resulting cup was very floral and delicate. This tea changed my mind about floral teas. It also brews well on a second and third steep as the pearls unfurl. Just keep in mind that each pearl expands a lot, so not too many are needed per cup.

If you are a fan of jasmine teas this is the way to go. A little goes a long way and the pearls are just beautiful as they unfurl. Very floral and a strong flavored tea.

My go to green tea, no sweetener/additions! I use a special cast iron pot and it makes a lovely morning ritual.

I've looked for a good Jasmine tea for a while, and this one was a winner.

I'm a huge fan of jasmine teas and really enjoyed this one!

I don’t think this tea is for me. I know others enjoy it but to me it tastes almost plastic-y. Nothing to do with the quality of the leaves or brand. I don’t think I’m a fan of jasmine. It is still relaxing to sip after getting over the initial first taste though i think I’d get another kind of green tea instead.

UPDATE: Steeped at the correct temperature using the japanese method of using other cups for cooling the hot water to the correct temperature. The jasmine flavor is significantly more subtle. I like it. I still don't love it but I definitely would continue to drink it.

I’m going to give this 5 stars even though it is definitely not for me. It seems to me to be a really good concoction, but subjectively, I am NOT a jasmine fan. Too perfumery. But it is a high quality tea — no need to ding it because of my personal taste.

good quality tea I very much enjoy! I love to have it in one of my pots to have more to sip on during my meetings without the neet steeping again.

I really like this tea as a cheaper alternative to the Fujian Jasmine Pearls (one of my favorite teas). It has slightly less of a floral flavor but still hits the spot. It is also a little forgiving if brewed too long.
