My packet contained all the ingredients listed on the label. Opening the bag, the scent is mouthwatering, lovely chocolate mint. It brews up to a pleasant yellowy light tint.
Unfortunately, despite the promised chocolate mint flavor, I am tasting the green base as a heavy straw/hay kind of flavour which dominates. It competes too heavily with the minty goodness. In full disclosure, I am not a huge green tea fan so this ought to be taken into consideration, however, I have tried some lovely greens and feel that this one does not mesh smoothly enough with the chocolate mint.
Although I think that this tea may suit those with a liking or preference for green tea as a base, this simply is not my cup of tea.

This zingy minty tea has just a 'wisp' of chocolate to mellow out any grassiness of the green tea. Brewed at a lower temperature and adding just a bit of sweetener really brought this tea to a new level of refreshment. Oh, and the aroma is lovely.

This is a delightful cup of tea! I love the light flavor of the green tea that marries well with the cocoa and mint. Yum!

YUMMY! who doesn't love mint and chocolate. Steeped 3 mins at 180 degrees and was rewarded with liquid Andes candies effect; This tea needs sweetening in order to bring out the full flavor. I used honey and cream and made a latte. I sampled this Tea as part of the CommuniTEA December box.

I've used this in a signature blend or two but I've never had it on its own, so when I saw that this was the CommuniTEA's pick for the day, I was super excited to find out how it stood up alone.
I was not disappointed! This was like an Andes candy and those candies have a great sentimental value to me, believe it or not, so this was a cup of nostalgia and I loved every sip!

This might be my favorite so far included in a CommuniTEA box - I prefer the lightness of the green tea and the mint compliments the flavor without being overpowering.

I love chocolate mint teas, but for some reason something in here tastes a little off to me.

It’s like a thin mint cookie with a green aftertaste.

This was just okay for me as the flavor was pretty mild. The chocolate was mainly in the aroma and didn't come through in the taste. It just tastes like a slightly minty green tea with moderate astringency. I may still order a sample bag to see if using more leaves will help the flavor, maybe the CommuniTEA portion wasn't enough. 175° 3 minutes

This tea just doesn’t seem to work from my perspective. Setting aside the fact that I’m not a huge fan of Adagio’s chocolate offerings, I definitely expected more. I feel like having black tea as the base would’ve helped meld the flavors a little better because it didn’t seem like the green base supported the flavors too well.

i DO enjoy coconut in white tea, and so that flavor in the green is fine; for me it's the mint that is just a 'no'... but my mint loving spouse says thanks!

Liquid Andes mint is what my first sip reminded me of! This was the perfect substitute to peppermint hot coco, and looking at lights in the neighborhood with! I am so happy this was part of the communityTEA. Chocolate and mint are the perfect pair! The lightness of the green tea is perfect allowing the chocolate and mint shine through!

This was not my favorite tea...the combination of chocolate, mint and green tea was not a flavor profile I enjoyed.

Smooth green tea, but I don't really detect the flavors on this one - will revisit, but I could tell it was a good quality.

I was super impressed with this tea. I don't tend to enjoy chocolate in my tea, but this was light enough to make it super tasty.

I was not a huge fan of this tea. I got several green teas with my last order, and while I don't hate this one, I don't think I'd order it again.

The tea smells almost like an Andes mint before brewed. Once brewed, the flavor is very light, but highly refreshing with the combination of chocolate and mint. The chocolate flavor resembles a lighter, smoother chocolate, while the mint is also light but there's just the right amount of it to make it feel like you're drinking a tea with chocolate and mint. It almost reminds me of Teavana's white chocolate peppermint. The green tea blends well, which is why it ends up being a light, refreshing tea. I actually prefer this one over the rooibos cocomint!
p.s.- If you want the chocolate and mint flavors to come out more, try adding some sweetener or sugar. I noticed that when I added some, the flavors really came through!

The chocolate mint smell is a bit artificial, which was slightly off-putting. Fortunately this doesn t come through in the flavor, but I didn t find any of the flavors particularly strong. I was hoping for a dessert-y tea, and got vague suggestions of chocolate and mint instead. Maybe I need to use 2-3x more leaves, but it was disappointing.

I tried this as a hot tea, and the chocolate flavor was more pronounced than I expected. I’m curious to see if the mint is stronger when I try it chilled.

Well, on my last order I went out of my comfort zone and ordered some flavored teas, which, typically I'm not a real fan of. I like my teas pretty unadulterated. This one is way off the spectrum for my 'comfort zone'. I, don't shoot me, am not a fan of mint. But this tea is good, not heavy on the mint, not heavy on the chocolate either, they play well together and it works. As another reviewer mentioned, it reminded them of a mint chocolate chip ice cream and I could see that. Decent, may or may not buy again.

Would you like a nice cup of Andes Candies? That's the blissfully good flavor of this blend. Not too strong nor too subdued, it's great on its own or decadent with sweetener and cream.

The chocolate mint flavor was a little overwhelming and tasted a little more artificial (like green mint chip ice cream) than I expected given the other teas I’ve tried. I think in the right setting and mood this would definitely fulfill a craving, but not an everyday tea for me.
