The chocolate mint flavor is a really nice change of flavor. It’s not overly flavored and tastes good cold too

Tasted and smelled wonderful. Mint was certainly strong a note on this one.

I have been craving a mint tea this winter that will also give me a boost of some caffeine to get me through these long winter days. Mint was not as strong as I expected, but overall, this tea is satisfying.

★★★★★

This is like eating thin mint girl scout cookies, without the sugar rush. Definitely one I recommend to a lot of people.

★★★★★

This is my husband's favorite treat. It smells and tastes like an Andes chocolate mint candy--but warm and cozy. Just the thing for a chilly winter day.

★★★★★

The Cocomint Green Tea is wonderful tasting peppermint paddy tea

★★★★★

I have been looking for a good mint chocolate chip tea for years. I think the mint and chocolate are well balanced, and I love this with a splash of (almond) milk.

★★★★★

This has a lovely chocolate mint flavor - superb with a dash of milk.

★★★★★

Smooth and the best chocolate mint tea I've had! Its like a peppermint patty

★★★★☆

Very good but it’s too weak for me. I have to use more than suggested.

★★☆☆☆

This smelled delicious upon opening, just like an Andes mint. However, the grassiness of the green tea overpowered the chocolate and mint.

★★★★★

Made me think of Andes Mints. The balance was just right. In particular the green tea was mild enough to enjoy even for a person who does not typically enjoy green tea. It serves as a smooth base for the mint and chocolate to mingle and tickle your senses. No grassiness noted.

(140ºF for 3 min) Refreshing mint entwined with a mild chocolate flavor. I can detect a hint of astringency from the green tea, but the leafy flavor of the green tea itself is overpowered by the mint.

I like mint teas. The aroma was divine. This was not one of my favorites, but still pretty good.

Like a York patty, or maybe a thin mint. Either way, tasty.

Chocolate & Mint! Yum one of my favorite night time combinations, usually I have a oolong base, so I was surprised how much I enjoyed this cocomint blend with a green tea base. The cocomint Aroma didn’t disappoint, so cozy & delicious. I can inhale that smell all day! My star rating is based more on packet, believing that’s why the chocolate notes were not as pronounced. Brewed at lower temperature as recommended, found very light minty flavors bouncing around my mouth & sadly just a hint of chocolate. I would definitely give it another try. (2 1/2mins @ 180°F)

Andes mint vibes! But as a green tea without sweetness or richness. Still a nice cup for the holiday season! Possibly the best tea that involves chocolate flavoring that I've tried from Adagio. (2 min at 175 degrees)

★★★★★

This tea is amazing, just the right amount of mint and chocolate flavorings, and the green tea itself is not bitter.

A good mint tea. The chocolate flavor is very subtle, almost not there.

★★★★☆

A really good green tea! The chocolate flavor is really nice

★★★★☆

I don't get a whole lot of chocolate flavor, but I have a hard time tasting chocolate. The mint in this isn't overpowering, and it's very sweet and smooth. The green is just a lovely complement in the background, not astringent or grassy.

★★★★☆

I’ve said it before, I don’t like green teas, but CommuniTEA is starting to make me rethink all that! This was delicious. The chocolate and mint flavor shine through, and mute any awful grassy- green tea flavors. I’ve had the roobios coco mint before, and I do believe I like this one better!

Very chocolate, overpowered the green tea taste, not much mint.

A very 'eh' tea

A real delight!! This tea, Cocomint Green is as good or better than an after dinner mint.

★★★☆☆

Not terrible for a green tea, but not the best. Nice with a dash of sweetener.

★★★★★

Chocolate, mint, and the antioxidants of green tea... what's not to love? The green tea and chocolate balanced the peppermint (which is too strong for me by itself). No grassiness detected. Steeped at 180 x 3 minutes, and added a raw sugar cube. Second steep a little weaker, but still very good.

When I cracked open my CommuniTea packet the mint was ready & rearing to go! It smelled so good! I got one lil cocoa nib, so I added a couple more from my own stash - didn't really bring a noticeable flavor to the party though, so I probably could've just done without.
When hot the green tea actually managed to overpower the peppermint with a bit of a straw-like flavor. I let it cool down some more and the peppermint made itself known, though it couldn't completely cover the straw-like flavor of the green. I couldn't taste any 'coco' at all.
I steeped it a second time and the straw flavor was pretty much gone. Leaving me with a light, minty tea. Still no coco, but not bad.
I did add sugar to both steeps, hoping to help the mint & coco (the later of which refused to show).
In the end, I think I'll stick to my preferred Rooibos Cocomint instead.

This was alright. I prefer the cocomint rooibos personally, I added sugar to this and wish that I hadn't as I actually feel like the mint shined more sans sweetener. The cocoa flavor here isn't nearly as artificial as I expected, but it doesn't compliment the green tea here like I hoped that it would have.

I like the combination of minty flavor and chocolate. It tasted like 'After Eight'. I enjoyed tea time with this tea and almond cookies.

Enjoyed this one a lot! Quite a bit better than the Rooibos Cocomint, which had a really odd aftertaste for me. I wish Adagio made a honeybush cocomint for caffeine free indulgence :)

★★★★★

I got this tea in the December Communitea box. The peppermint and cocoa nibs made this tea quite good. I didn’t get too much of the usual grassy flavor from the green tea. 83 C 2.5 minutes

★★★★★

My usual teas flavors are strong and dark. This was an unusual blend for me as I don't reach for green teas often. It was very lightly minty with a nice cocoa note. The green tea was there in flavor but not so 'grassy' a flavor that it'd put me off. I enjoyed this quite a bit!! I added some adagio rock sugar to even everything out.

I'm a huge fan of mint in my green tea and the additional of chocolate was perfect.

★★★★★

Really enjoyed today's Communitea. Everything was present in the packet and the dry aroma was fantastic. The flavor was reminiscent of Andes mint and the green tea was a surprisingly pleasant base. The addition of a tiny bit of sugar helped to bring the flavors forward.

I admit to always being a little hesitant about green teas. But this was perfect for a hectic day when I have a headache and a funky stomach. It was extremely soothing to both! (Steeped for 2:30)

For a green tea lover that likes the earthy, grassy taste I’m not liking this at all. Too minty and the chocolate wasn’t there in taste and barely there in smell.

★★★★☆

The flavor of the green with the peppermint is good, but I don’t like the chocolate flavoring in this one. The only chocolate teas I like are the ones where they go heavy on the cacao nibs and light on the artificial chocolate flavoring. A chocolate liqueur would have worked better.

Tasty! I saw another reviewer liken this to a liquid Andes mint and that is spot on! Yum. (2 min @ 175°F)

I am not a green tea lover, so those who like a deep, savory green tea, disregard my two-star rating. Also, both of those stars are for the chocolate mint flavors, which I did enjoy. It tasted like an Andes mint (you know, slightly artificial but delicious none the less); however, as hard as the chocolate and mint tried, it just couldn't hide the moldy, seaweed flavor of the green tea. It was kind of gag inducing to be honest. I powered through a few sips from two different cups - once from the advent calendar and once from the communiTEA - but both ended up down the sink drain. A green tea that I found quite yummy! I love the mint/chocolate combo! Because I absolutely despise green tea, I didn't really taste it with the mint and chocolate. This is one green tea I can get behind.

★★★★★

The smell of this bag of tea in the Communitea was wonderful. I did not have high hopes for the taste as I’m not a huge mint fan. Well this was amazing. It tasted like a peppermint patty. Fabulous chocolate and mint combo. And in a green tea. Going to get some of this.

Very chocolately smell, especially for a green tea, which is greatly welcomed for the holiday season. The chocolate notes do dominate the taste, but that isn't necessary a bad thing; however, I don't think I'd ever buy a bag of this but rather keep it as a treat!

Chocolate and mint are my very favorite flavor combination for sweets, and so it's no surprise that I loved this tea. It's very similar to Adagio's reindeer fuel blend, except with a green base.

★★★★☆

This is a bit of an odd-duck, my chocolate mint loving son (think Scope with a side of chocolate) decided it is too weird for him. I found it to be yummy. A nice balance of chocolate and mint with niether being too overpowering. I think the weird bit for my son is that you can actually taste the chocolate with the mint rather than having the mint punch you in the mouth and take over (his preferred taste).

★★★★★

Just WOW! Really enjoyed the flavor of coco & mint! I especially loved it because it's a green tea based.

Interesting mix of flavors, but it didn't really all pull together well for me. The green tea is quite savory and vegetal. I would like it on its own or perhaps with just mint, but would choose a different tea to add the chocolate to. The chocolate flavor seemed a little off to me as well. Maybe the addition of some cocoa nibs would have rounded it out nicely. I really enjoyed the mint used in this though.

This sounded like a great idea--I like chocolate mint, and I love green teas. Unfortunately the base tea has a pronounced seaweed note for me. I'd probably like it just fine as a plain unflavored green tea. . . . But it's NOT a good companion for cocomint.

I ran into this problem with the packet from my advent calendar and again with CommuniTEA. First time I thought that brewing for 3 min at 180F might have brought out the seaweed notes more than a shorter cooler brew, so for my CommuniTEA packet I tried 2 min at 165F. Not much change there. Some sugar did make the cocomint flavors more prominent, but the seaweed notes were still pretty noticeable.

But don't let my review stop you if you want to try this tea. In other reviews that mention specific disliked notes, I'm seeing only mentions of the green tea being grassy or bitter. I got tired of scrolling before I found anyone else mentioning anything oceanish or decaying, so apparently my seaweed problem isn't a common one. Who knows what my palate is doing here!

I didn't like it or hate it but as others have commented the tasted of the green tea itself wasn't the best flavor and the mint didn't really balance it out. Nice to try but wouldn't buy.

★★★★★

The chocolate and mint in this cup are a great pairing. I only steeped my cut for two minutes and it was perfect.

My packet contained all the ingredients listed on the label. Opening the bag, the scent is mouthwatering, lovely chocolate mint. It brews up to a pleasant yellowy light tint.
Unfortunately, despite the promised chocolate mint flavor, I am tasting the green base as a heavy straw/hay kind of flavour which dominates. It competes too heavily with the minty goodness. In full disclosure, I am not a huge green tea fan so this ought to be taken into consideration, however, I have tried some lovely greens and feel that this one does not mesh smoothly enough with the chocolate mint.
Although I think that this tea may suit those with a liking or preference for green tea as a base, this simply is not my cup of tea.
