Very much a green tea taste. I cannot taste any citrus.
Chinese green tea with the delicate flavors of lemon and lime. An Adagio favorite, refreshing hot and iced.

Very much a green tea taste. I cannot taste any citrus.
It was a good tea overall, but the citrus notes were a little too mild for my personal taste. I may combine it with one of the herbals to give it a bit more flavor at some point.
This came up as a suggestion and i decided to give it a try. It's...interesting. Definitely not bad but i don't think I'll be ordering it again. It's just not a combination of flavors I enjoy.
Lemon lime amazing goodness. The flavors are perfectly blended, and this is one of my favorites
I ordered this green tea and the apricot one at the beginning of January when I cut out all the Christmas goodies. It's been such a great replacement treat. Very refreshing, not bitter at all.
The tea has a very light citron scent, but the flavor is barely noticeable. I wish there were more to it.
This tea is super smooth with a nice, citrus kick.
I might be crazy, but the Citron Green that I bought and drank some years back seemed very different from the latest sample that I received. I remember the citrus flavor being stronger and I remember it smelling and tasting exactly like Froot Loops, but after a few years off and a sample re-order, the citrus taste seems different and the green tea taste is stronger. It's still a delicious tea, but I really used to love the old recipe. Adagio, am I crazy or has this tea changed since 2011?
Smells like yellow gummi bears! mmm. Love that it smells amazing in my cup, only wish it had a slightly more citrusy taste than the smell allures me to believe. Will keep drinking it though because regardless, it is a really yummy and light tasting tea that uplifts my mood! GREAT for morning, why, one should follow a citrusy shower with citrusy tea to go! I am brilliant.
Love the subtle citrus flavor. Very nice tea. Would purchase again.
Nice orange taste a great green tea if your looking
Yum! I am so happy I tried this. typically I don’t like citrus teas but thought I’d try this. It’s a great way to add variety to your green tea collection.
I add honey to this and typically drink in the evening due to the low caffeine content. Crisp clean taste but the citrus is barely present.
Update: i was wrong about the citrus it does pack a nice punch, its just my citrus threshold for the palate is pretty wrecked.
I loved the citrus flavor in this tea, it was really good!
I love this as an every day tea! A bit of citrus really makes it very flavorful!
Not one of my favorites, but it is a nice evening tea.
My only critique is that it needs more lemongrass.
Mild and not too tannic. Very forgiving if steeped too long or water too hot.
One of my favorite green teas. Just enough citrus to brighten the cup, but not enough to outshine a wonderful green tea flavor. Really nice.
I have never been a huge green tea fan. This is the only green tea that I have ever actually enjoyed drinking. The citrus flavor is the perfect pairing for green tea in my opinion. Just be careful not to add the water too hot, or it will be bitter.
I started drinking green tea as a health complement to apple cider vinegar, so I ve been looking for strong citrus flavors to help mask the acidity of the vinegar. I don t know that I can strongly recommend mixing this tea with vinegar to anyone else, but it works wonders for me. I ve also tried it without the vinegar, and it s even more delicious. Nice crisp flavor.
This one is perfect for when you are sick and don t want to get out of bed
I really enjoyed this tea. I thought the fruity notes would be overpowering but it was pleasantly a wonderful balance of fruit and green tea. It smells fantastic too.
Citrus flavor went very nicely with the green tea in this one.
Nice aroma and color. A refreshing tea I like to have in the afternoon. I've been making iced tea from this lately and it's wonderful. Put cold water and the tea in a pitcher in the refrigerator overnight, strain in the morning. I usually mix a small amount of sugar with boiling water to add to the pitcher first, as a slight sweetness brings out the flavors.
More green tea comes through than citron, but it is a winning combination nonetheless. A wonderfully refreshing citron aftertaste lingers in your mouth longer after you have finished.
This is a nice, light green tea. I enjoy having it at any time of the day.
One of my favs. The smell and taste is reminiscent of Froot Loops.
Ice or hot this tea is tops. Think the iced though is my favorite
Love this as an iced tea. Very refreshing first thing in the morning
Brewed this Gongfu style and got a really nice aroma. Nice citrusy high notes, lemon-limey and perhaps a hint of Meyer Lemon. Low notes are prominent as well, more robust than I thought. Brewed this for 15 seconds with 3.5 grams of tea per 100 ml. Can't wait to try it iced!
I really enjoy all green teas, but citron green has a nice light lemony-citrus flavor. It s very good with a bit of honey. I recommend it.
This tea has a nice lemony taste. It tastes good when my allergies are acting up.
Light and citrus, I love it warm as well as iced. Good for any season!
Tastes good iced or hot. I prefer iced with sweetener.
Amazing! When I opened the bag it was even better than I imagined it would be. Wonderful light green aroma that calls spring to mind blended with those beautiful bright orange strips. Absolute 10/10.
I used a combination of this and spearmint tea to make cold brew iced tea this summer. Incredibly refreshing!
So good. My favorite teas are the citrus flavors. This doesn't disappoint.
I love iced green tea and usually make it with sencha overture (and it's great). I tried Citron green and it's ok, but the citrus taste is not clean enough, and it muddles the flavor of the green tea.
I don't usually like fruit in my tea, but this was really good! The citrus taste is very subtle, and really just adds a refreshing note to the green tea. Super mellow without much bitterness.
Interesting flavor, good cup, but I still prefer black tea.
I've had this flavor before in Adagio's iced tea option, so I was really excited to try it hot. It didn't disappoint! It smelled wonderful while it was steeping (certainly not the first time an Adagio tea has prompted a coworker to stop by my office and ask what smells so good), and the flavors I love in the iced version are present in the hot version as well. Lemon and lime (really almost any citrus flavor) are among my favorites in a good green tea, and Adagio delivers on this one. The green tea base flavor is solid and the citrus notes build on that to provide a great tasting, refreshing cup of tea. Perfect for an afternoon pick-me-up!
Excellent summer time tea. Very good cold or hot.
I'm really not a fan of green teas, so I tried this to see if I would like it if it had some extra flavors in it. I would say it's the best green tea I've had, and I do like the citrusy addition, but overall I think I'll just stay away from green teas. Just a little too bitter for me.
A wonderful green tea for summer. The citrus brings out the grassiness of the tea.
This is a great all around tea, it's great hot, it's great cold, it's great hot steeped, but my favorite is cold steeping, 10-12 hours at room temp, 2 tablespoons for 2 qts of water is my preferred method.
I have received two different variations on this tea. One case that I ordered did not have the citrus pieces in the mix, it was a little harsh flavor wise. I definitely prefer the ones that do have the citrus pieces in the mix
High quality green tea:) Highly recommend if you like a traditional taste without all the fruity stuff to take away from the taste of the tea.
Refreshing, crisp citrus green flavor. Great iced or hot
Fantastic green tea, I like the raspberry greet tea better and bought a bigger order, but I always keep a small bag of this.
