My CommuniTEA packet contained lots of beautiful green tea leaves, a few tiny pieces of rose petals, and a couple of tiny pieces of cherry. Steeped at 176° For 3 minutes, the aroma was very rose forward. The tea tasted metallic and strongly of rose, no cherry flavor to be found. Adding a touch of honey brought out a very light taste of fruit but was still overpowered by rose and that odd metallic taste. Not a taste I would enjoy repeating.
The base green tea is already not that great. And cherry roses don't make it any better sadly.
This smelled like cherries but unfortunately didn't taste like it. I didn't get any cherries in my CommuniTEA packet either which probably didn't help matters much. As many have noted, it is basically a green rose tea and the rose was VERY overwhelming and gave the tea the soapy taste I despise when rose is overdone. If you love rose get on this one but for me, I'm going to have to take a pass. Happy Sipping!
It is almost cherry season in Michigan so very excited to try this tea. I really liked the cherry combined with the green tea. The cherry was a little stronger than then the green tea but I like fruity teas.
I made this as an iced tea and loved it! Very fruity and smells awesome.
This is really good. I love the cherry flavor with a sour tinge - tasted just like real cherries to me. The smell was amazing, and the taste didn't let me down.

Not a tea for me. I didn't detect any cherry pieces in my packet...and the aroma was very strong rose. Brewed180F, 3 minutes. Still very strong rose smell...and the taste, for me, was like trying to drink rose scented soap. Nope. I tried to...but I couldn't drink this. I drank a few sips and then had to pour it down the sink and brew something else. Not my cup of tea at all...but someone who loves rose would really like this tea.
Am going to try a 2nd steep. This was the communitea packet for 6/3 and for me the cherry scent was almost non-existant. zero fruit flavor, very green tea
I liked this one cold brewed, but the green got just a tad bitter when I let it sit for too long.

This one is super yummy! Love the cherry flavor with the green tea! It's not an everyday tea but it's good when I need something yummy in the afternoon to pick me up. It's a treat!

Big cherry smell and flavor! It can be a little overwhelming though, so not an everyday tea. But love how bold and bright it is.
Can't say I'm a huge fan of this one. Rather than cherries or green tea, it tastes more like bubblegum that's been in a gumball machine for years.

Out of the bag, this tea smells amazing! I was very excited to try this tea, even though I’m not that much of a cherry person. That being said, it has a very strong cherry flavor so, if you ARE a cherry person, I think that you will love this one. I added 2 scoops and a bit of rock sugar.
Tasted like a very floral green tea and not very much like cherries. I was not a huge fan of this one but it definitely wasn't the worst.

I looked this tea, it was a little disappointing that it did not have a stronger cherry presence to the flavor.
This tea was just okay, it had a fantastic smell but something about the taste was just off-putting. It had an odd flavour, which was not quite cherry, to it. I prefer my teas chilled so maybe it would have been better hot, I'm not sure.

Cherry and rose hips make this tea have an interesting aroma. Once honey and milk are added, it has a definite cherry flavor.

I sampled both this and the black cherry tea, and this is the supreme cherry flavored tea. The cherry flavor tastes slightly artificial, but I'll admit that I secretly love the artificial cherry flavor. It helps balance the slight bitterness of the green tea. I'm definitely keeping this one on hand.
This tea tastes exactly like it sounds, beautiful cherry and green tea flavors come through. Neither seemed to dominate. Great for spring! I tried it hot but it might make a nice iced tea.

A bit like drinking a hot cup of green tea with a wild cherry Ludens in your mouth. Not bad. The cherry flavor doesn't taste like medicine. An enjoyable tea.
Very refreshing. I love this tea hot and cold. It has a natural sweetness, so I never feel the need to add any honey
I wanted to love this tea, truly I did. I like all the flavors involved. Green tea is lovely, and cherry is a wonderful flavor in tea. I adore rose flavor in many types of tea. However, the three flavors in this tea did not work for me. I tasted more rose than cherry, also.
Really did t care for this tea at all. Gave it to my daughter and she disliked it, too. Too floral. Just doesn’t taste like tea!

Disclaimer: I'm not a big fan of green tea. I really wanted to like the Cherry tea but it was just okay. It smells like Kool-aid, which I'm also not a fan of. I found this tea to be bland and have just a hint of cherry. Next time I will try steeping longer but not in a hurry to try again. It may be better as an ice tea.
The first experience I had with this tea was opening the bag. Boy, that was pungent. It was unmistakably cherry to the point it made me cough. But the smell of the loose tea is not what makes a tea shine so I’m not taking that into my 4 star rating. I’m trying to find a replacement tea, but I will rate this on how it delivers as advertised.
Like other reviews have mentioned, there is little cherry taste compared to its smell. As the tea washes down, the cherry is left lingering on the back of your tongue. The main sip highlights the rose in this tea, and in this sense it doesn’t deliver. I would not recommend this tea to the cherry fanatic, but more to the person who enjoys a mixture of fruit and flower aromas. If that’s you, you absolutely want to buy this tea, because the levels of flavor are stunning. It’s just not exactly “Cherry green”
Love the aroma of the cherry as you steep it. And the mild cherry flavor is just as good.
I love this tea. It has a very balanced floral cherry taste. It is naturally sweet. All the flavors come together so well. I love it iced. If you enjoy cherries and rose, you will enjoy this.
So I got this to see how similar it was to a Cherry Rose Sencha that a shop in Canada that I like had. So I would have another source.
My thoughts are similar to other reviews
1. The cherry smell in the pouch is overwhelming, almost like cherry cough drops/syrup. Its not bad per say...but it doesnt smell natural.
2. The cherry flavor doesnt really translate into the tea itself, it is very very minor and while drinking it does almost have a dubble bubble bubblegum smell.
3. Smell aside, the tea is an ok green tea with some minor cherry notes...but not the experience I was looking for from this tea.

The cherry flavors are bright and distinct, but aren't too much to cover the green tea's flavors, an excellent balance, and great iced as well!

I love Adagio teas, but i have to say this is terrible. It tastes like cherry NyQuil. Highly disappointed. :(
