I was looking for a replacement for my Teavana 'SAKURA ALLURE GREEN TEA' but it didn't have the right flavor. I have since tried Adagio's 'Cherry-licious' its prefect and what I was looking for.

★★★☆☆

Smells absolutely wonderful for the cherry lover but not a whole lot of cherry in the tea so it's mostly just fruit aromatherapy and a green tea.

★★★☆☆

Although I could definately smell the cherry, I could not taste it over the rose petals.

★★★★★

The cherry flavor is amazing. We tried it at a tasting and my sister just had to have it. It tastes as good as it smells. You can get a few steeps out of it easily.

★★★☆☆

Opening the sample I'm getting a lot of the Twizzler red licorice aroma, which borders on becoming cough syrup. Luckily, it does lighten when steeped and becomes less overbearing. The overall tea is also very light bodied, and doesn't have that certain aftertaste of some green teas. That is a plus, as the aquatic part irks me in some green teas. And it can remove from the other flavors. Not overly thrilling, but a good, calming tea for a late night drink.

While this tea tastes absolutely fantastic, it has the strange property of smelling exactly like children's cough syrup... Doesn't detract from the quality much, but it can be a little offputting.

★☆☆☆☆

dry in the packet and brewing, this tea was heavenly -- cherry sweetened to perfection by rose, without a single cloying note. I was looking forward to being able to sip this one. Unfortunately, the taste does not match the aroma of all. on the tongue it is dry and overwhelmingly cloying ROSE. ROSE ROSE ROSE ROSE and a bit more old lady sickly ROSE. I've been drinking everything else in site to try and cleanse my palate to no avail. Here lies Cherry Green, murdered by Rose. Oh Cherry, I wanted to love you.

This isn't my favorite tea. It's not bad, but it's simply not my favorite. The scent of the cherry flavoring reminds me a lot of children's cough medicine. The taste is good though. I don't regret trying this tea, but it's not a tea I think I'd purchase again.

★★★☆☆

Has a strong cherry scent and taste. However, the flavor was a bit on the artificial cherry medicine side for me.

★★★★☆

A unique flavor blend that for some reason triggers childhood memories. Maybe it reminds me of those big red suckers you used to get and the candy counter. When I brew this up it's like warm fuzzy hugs!

★★★☆☆

For some reason, it sounded better than it tasted. A little too much cherry perhaps?

★★★☆☆

The last sample of this tea that I ordered did not contain rose petals or dried cherries. I find the flavor refreshing for iced tea nonetheless.

Update: A 3oz portion of this tea in a more recent order still did not contain dried cherries, but did include rose petals and brewed with a sufficient amount of cherry flavor.

★★★★☆

This is a likeable and very drinkable tea. The flavor of cherry is most prominent. Any more in the cherry department and this tea would taste more like a children's cherry cough syrup. As is my usual suggestion, a little vanilla soy milk and honey will bring this great flavor to the top. Would I recommend this tea to you? Yes, but give a small sample pack a try first. Would I buy this tea again for myself? Probably not. I am only on the very cusp liking this tea...Steve.

This tea is for the true cherry lover. I am not a fan of real cherries, but often like the artificial imitators, so I tried. Not a huge fan, but my husband enjoys it, so it gets a good rating from our household.

Tried this as a sample. The bag smells like Robitussin, the tea tastes like cheap candy. It's not as godawful as the fruit-flavored black teas but it's still bad.

★★★★☆

Cherry green is wonderful in every blend I've used it in, but a bit one-note for just a cup. That's my own preferences, however.

★★★☆☆

Too much fake cherry flavor for me. I might dilute this with some plain green tea and make iced tea in the summer to see if that dulls the flavor enough.

★☆☆☆☆

tastes exactly like cough medicine. i was hopeful for this one but i guess i should have expected it!

★★★☆☆

The Cherry is a bit strong but I still like it. I mix it so its not so strong.

★☆☆☆☆

Tasted and smelled like chemicals. Very disappointing, will not be buying again.

Not my favorite, but not awful. Smells a bit like cough syrup in the bag. Tastes a bit like cough syrup in the cup. Meh.

★★★★☆

Another somewhat tart tea. I found it to be allot to have this more than once in a while.

★★★☆☆

This tea smells awesome in the bag. Unfortunately, that blast of cherry goes away after steeping. I could barely taste anything at first. It took a bit of sweetener to bring out the cherry flavor again, but it remains very light.

★★★★☆

Good...Cherry taste is not as strong as I thought it would be when brewed and I am not a huge fan of tartness anyways.

★☆☆☆☆

The cherry flavoring in this green tea is just bad. It ends up tasting way too artificial. It is important for the flavoring to not have a 'medicine' type flavor, and this one definitely does. Disappointing.

★★☆☆☆

I very seldom dislike a tea from Adagio. This is unfortunately one of those times. The cherry flavor in this tea is not natural tasting at all. It tastes like I would imagine the cherry air fresheners for your car to taste like... if I was in to eating air fresheners... which i am not...

★★★★☆

A nice flavored green. The cherry is not too sweet, tart, nor overpowering. Consider it 'Goldilocks approved.'

★★★★★

Surprisingly full-bodied, it has a nice balance of flavor.

★★★☆☆

The cherry SCENT was very strong and almost cough-syrupy the flavor was much lighter, it was just alright, I will stick with my rhubarb green.

★★★★★

Loved this tea! If you like cherries this is a must try, it is quite simply great!

★★★☆☆

The cherry green was definitely not one of my favorite teas. It tastes oddly of cherry dumdum wrappers. I will only say this is an okay tea because of its after-taste. The after-taste tasted more pungently of cherry than its predecessing taste. I would not recommend this to anyone who wants to taste cherries.

had every flavor you would expect of a green tea with a subtle cherry flavor

★★★★★

one of my favorites, best served iced made as a refrigerator iced tea made overnight.

★★★★★

Love this tea. It has the body of a good green tea, maybe a little lighter and doesn't leave that earthy taste in your mouth, but instead has a slightly-sweet follow-up. Love this one for blending.

★★★★☆

The cherry flavor in this is very cloying and artificial. It's a little better iced, but not by much. It helps to mix this with rhubarb green.

This tea has a strong scent, but once brewed it is rather light. I didn't taste any tartness. Overall this tea is pretty mild. I have only tried it hot, but I bet it'd be better if iced.

★★★★☆

Smells like cherry cough syrup in the bag, which is a little off-putting, but the cherry becomes much more subtle when brewed. I think I'd prefer a little more cherry in the brew, but maybe a higher temperature would help with that.

To me this tastes to much like bubblegum. The cherry taste is to over whelming

★★★★★

Very enjoyable cup of tea. Nice flavor, I'll be getting this again

★★★★☆

Im much more a fan of black tea but this tea was good. Nice cherry flavor but had a little too much rose petal flavor for me.

★★☆☆☆

Very little cherry flavor noted and generally bland. Not worth a reorder.

★★★☆☆

Very strong smell and taste, probably unnecessary to have cherry pieces and the cherry flavouring. Although it says to use a teaspoon, you could probably tone it down by using just a touch less or using more water. I managed to get at least 2 servings from one teaspoon.

None the less, if you like cherry it's really good.

★★★★★

I really like this tea. It's just a nice, light cherry flavor. I'm also looking forward to trying it iced.

★★★★☆

I was eager to try this tea, as I'm a fan of both cherries and green tea, and I found this particular tea to be absolutely delicious. The flavour is sweet and pronounced enough that no sugar or cream are needed - something I found out after adding a spoonful of sugar!

I like flavored greens and I'd tried and loved another cherry green from another brand and lamented the fact they discontinued it. I was so happy to see Adagio carried the flavor I had to get the sample. The cherry scent had a strong, almost artificial scent (to me), but it was delicious!

I tried this as a replacement for a beloved cherry rose green tea I picked up years ago. This is different - sweeter, far more fruit, less floral - but still very good. At first sip, I found the cherry flavouring too strong, but enjoyed it more as I continued drinking (FWIW, I'm a sucker for wild cherry candies). My husband absolutely loved this tea right from the start.

This is the first tea from Adagio that I have actually kind of disliked. There is an off-putting 'bubblegum' smell to this tea, which carries over a bit to the taste. It tastes a bit fake and not really a lot like cherry.

Good tea, but if you make it too strong it tastes slightly medicinal. The smell of the dried leaves is very strong, but the flavor is quite nice and not as strong as the scent.

★★★☆☆

I like the cherry flavor to this tea! You can definitely smell it when you open the bag. It's great iced! :)
