I'm not usually a big fan of green tea but this one was really good! It had a nice coconut and tropical flavor.
Luscious fruits and coconut with green tea leaves from China. Juicy, sweet and punch-like with a Caribbean flair.

I'm not usually a big fan of green tea but this one was really good! It had a nice coconut and tropical flavor.
This blend was nice as a cold brewed tea, served over ice and sweetened just a bit. The fruit flavors were very muted, and the green tea was mild. I wish the fruit flavors were a bit stronger.
Aromas of coconut and tropical fruits rose out of today's packet. A quick 3 minute steep at 180°F in the VelociTEA maker was easy with the Oolong tea button. It created a light translucent green tea with a hint of coconut scent.
The first sip brought forth a menagerie of flavors like smooth and silky coconut, sweet fruity mango, and slightly tart passionfruit. The green tea made it's presence known in the middle, providing a full body and light astringency to balance and contrast with the smooth coconut.
As it cooled the green tea came forward in the mix while tropical fruits and coconut still added an island vibe. Makes a great iced tropical cooler style tea!
Yum! This tea smells and tastes like a perfect combo of green tea and tropical fruit. The green tea is gentle and buttery, not too vegetal. The coconut is not overpowering. I really enjoyed this blend! And while I like it cold, I actually loved it hot.
23 June 2020 review: Very nice tropical flavors were noted from the bag. The first aromas were coconut forward and the tropical fruit in the background. The green tea made itself known from the start with a light grassy flavor. All flavors and aromas carried-on all the way from start to finish. The passion fruit and mango tropical tastes were mostly noted. I really like a blend made with “real” tea as a base rather than herbals. Just wish I was on a Caribbean beach under a palm tree, and listening to a steel drum band rather than hanging around in my lounge chair! Added 1/4 tsp sugar.
Very drinkable tea. Perfect for summer. I would love to try it iced!
My sample didn't have much fruit so I really didn't get too much fruit flavor. Smelled better than it tasted. Adding some sweetener helped. In theory I think I would like this tea with more fruit. I might order some to see if it comes with more fruit.
CommuniTEA Sample: a great flavored green tea that really brings out thoughts of tropical breezes and island paradise. Highly enjoyable and one that I would definitely drink again.
I'm always here for tropical blends, and this one is just as lovely. Coconut and an unidentifiable 'fruity' taste was there, but I loved it. The green tea wasn't too grassy either.

This was a lovely green! Zero hint of grass, but light enough to let the fruit flavors really shine, especially the coconut. Excellent choice if you’re looking for a tropical tea, but aren’t a fan of hibiscus’s tartness or the heaviness of a black base.
Perfect vacation tea. The coconut and fruit tastes take me straight to the tropics. This is a weird comparison, but this tastes like how Insaneintherainmusic's cover of 'KK Bossa' sounds.
Wonderful fruit and tropical vibes with the lovely minerality of a green tea. The coconut is not overpowering and lends a sweet flair that really compliments this blend.
I’m not a fan of the coconut flavor in this tea. It seems oddly nutty and doesn’t complement the fruit.
What a great blend! Definitely has a coconut-forward aroma and taste, and it's supplemented with tropical, passionfruitty flavors. With the green base, it is lighter and more delicate than the Coconut Grove Pouchong that was in the CommuniTEA recently, which is not a good or bad thing, just suits a different mood!
I'm a sucker for coconut in tea. Something about the scent and flavor really smooths everything out for me. I was a bit worried about the amount of citrus in this tea but it was great. This is a very refreshing blend. I drank it hot but it would be delicious iced.
Good hot, good iced! No off flavors. A little too green tasting for my personal tastes, but if you are a green fan it is probably great.
I’ve used this tea in several blends, and while I like it very much for the light tropic vibes, I do think it’s missing some pop. Pairs well with citrus!
This is one of my favorite 'flavored' green teas I've tried from Adagio. The flavor isn't cloying, but it is present. It's a perfect balance of the beautiful green tea base and all those tropical notes. You get pineapple and coconut in just the right quantities. You can drink it plain but a touch of honey drew the total island fantasy out. This tea can transport you. Is that a sea breeze ruffling your hair? A rum runner heading over from the waiter? The scent of sunscreen wafting by? No, it's just the power of this tea. Happy Sipping!
An island in a cup! The green tea provided a solid base for the tropical flavors to build on. The coconut stands out the most but the other tropical fruits don’t sit too far behind. Tastes like tropical vacation memories! (Brewed at 175 for 3 min. Did not add sweetener.)
175 degrees for 3 minutes. This tea reminded me of the coconut grove pouchong, but with a fruitier twist. I tasted mainly coconut and peach on a perfect green base with a citrus aftertaste along with pleasant astringency. This one's going on the wishlist. Yummy!
All the flavors worked out wonderfully together. What a great way to start the day.
There is such a strong coconut aroma emitting from the small twisted green tea leaves in the CommuniTea packet. The leaves open up on steeping and create a light yellow elixer. This is a delicious tea, with the sweet taste of coconut. The green tea astringency is mild. This does not need any sweetener and is really a great tasting cold tea. (Several steeps: 2 mins @ 180ºF).
I tried this from a communiTea packet. I brewed at 180 for 2.5 minutes. There was a tropical creamy flavor that blended well with the green tea. The flavors were well paired with no overshadowing. I chilled my second cup and look forward to what this tea tastes like cooled.
Very fruity and refreshing! This is great either hot or iced.
It's interesting. I can't remember if I've had a green tea with coconut before. It's good, but it's not my favorite.

Received in my communitea pack. Green tea is one of my least favorites because of the grassiness. The coconut helped but it wasn't enough for me to enjoy this cup.
The calypso green tea is so fun to drink! So fruity and the coconut is just yummy.
the communitea packet was delicious - really enjoy Adagio's way to help us sample and share
Loved this tea blend. Nice green tea with subtle tropical fruit flavors that compliment the green tea well. Different fruit flavors came forward as the tea cooled. Mango and then coconut, with hints of peach and orange. Wish I saved some to chill, I bet it is even better iced.
June 1, 2020 - Ok...YUM!!! This tea is sooo good. I definitely get the coconut in aroma and flavor, but it's not too overpowering. It's the perfect blend of coconut and fruit! I'll be coming back for more.
June 23, 2021 - I definitely have come back for more. I love this tropical tea iced!
This tea smells absolutely amazing when you first open the bag. I think I stopped for half a minute just smelling the tea lmao
It tasted really good too! I loved the mix of coconut and tangy flavours from the apple and orange, although it was hard to distinguish individual flavours. I really like this one iced, especially in the hot summer. For cold brew, I let it sit in the fridge overnight, typically more than 10 hours. If drinking hot, I usually don't let it sit for more than two minutes. Definitely will purchase again!
This is a very nice green tea! It's fruity and tropical, with a touch of coconut flavor to give it that summery feel.
This tea smells so delicious and is very refreshing.
this was a good green tea. The flavor was subtle and not overbearing.
Love the coconut flavor with the green tea, this is great both iced and hot.
I love this brewed double strength to make iced tea or as the base of a smoothie.
Surprisingly fruity green tea. Can be enjoyed by itself or with a meal.
Such a great blend! Really does have a nice touch of tropical. Really great as a cold brew!
That person gave this with three star review for being a little too fruity for my taste. But I got to be honest with you, I tried this to you second time and it really grew on me. There is something about the coconut that you don't taste when you're drinking the tea but that gives it a velvety smooth finish. I'll definitely order it again.
Beautiful flavors. Smooth and relaxing. I totally enjoyed this tea. This is a repeater for sure.
I really wanted to love this tea based on the ingredients, but the flavor was very weak to me. I tried it hot & iced.
I haven't tried this tea hot but make iced tea with it all the time. It's so refreshing. Perfect for a warm spring/summer day.
I made a pitcher of iced tea out of this and it was amazing! The first thing I noticed was the coconut, followed by the generic taste of tropical fruit. I cold brewed it overnight and had no issues with bitterness.
I was disappointed in this one...it was not what I was expecting. I bought it as I love coconut, but I could not detect much of it at all. It tasted like a green tea with a vague fruit flavor to it. Will not buy again.
Update: I mixed this tea 2:1 with passionfruit tango. I liked it much better as the bitterness of the calypso toned down the fruitiness of the tango. They worked well together. Will brew this way going forward.
Absolutely divine!!! The pairing of coconut and green tea really works well.
reminds me of the beach. A nice earthy green tea with lots of coconut and fruity flavors
This is my favorite tea of Adagios. Please never stop making this blend it’s awesome!
I was unsure of all the fruit in this tea based on my taste preferences. However, it’s not overpowering and does not take away from the green tea flavor. I enjoy the balance of this tea.
Tastes great; coconut is not subtle. Reminds me a lot of the Harney and Sons Green Tea with Coconut
