Being a big fan of anything coconut, this tea is great. The coconut flavor is strong, but I can still taste the green tea and peach flavor.

This one is really good! It gives you a taste of the tropics and warms you at the same time. I feel like this would work very well as an iced too also.

Tried as a CommuniTEA sample. It didn't taste grassy and there was a hint of citrus. Pretty good but not something I'd buy since I'm not really a green tea drinker.

Lovely green tea with tropical flavors. The second steep was even nicer than the first with more green tea flavor.

Great green tea. The blend is perfect. Hints of fruit snd coconut . I like Lilly’s idea about cold steeping and drinking as a refreshing drink Great with a little honey.

I'm not even a big green tea drinker and still found this lovely. Fruity, smooth, not grassy, an easy summer sipper.

Coconuts such a nice summer flavor.
This was tasty.

Powerful coconut with a touch of peach aroma, kind of thin on flavor. There is a faint fruity taste like peach and each sip is velvet smooth. But I was kind of hoping for something bolder.

I love the fruit smell of this green tea. It’s a light tea. I’ll probably order some in the near future.

One of the benefits of the CommuniTEA is the opportunity to try teas one wouldn’t otherwise try. Every so often, one discovers a real gem. This flavored green is not one - well, not for this coconut-averse reviewer at least. The tea is coconut forward (already a strike against it), but the background melange of mixed tropical fruits is unappealing and just shy of medicinal in nature. Whether it is just the mix of flavorings alone or the combination of tropical fruit flavors on the green base that creates this unpalatable taste is difficult to surmise. Regardless, this is not the tea for me. Lovers of tropical flavors and coconut may feel differently. (Overnight cold-steep preparation)

This is a delightful and refreshing tropical tea! The tropical fruit and coconut flavors really compliment the green tea well.

From the blend description and the reviews I expected a STRONG coconut flavor, but I mostly got peach and passionfruit. Not bad by any means, just a little off the mark.

10 oz, 2 mins @ 180* F, divided. Sweetener in both, cream in hot.

Hot
Before adding the cream this tasted like barely flavored water. With the cream, it tastes like cream flavored water. I can barely taste the fruit flavors, the coconut is the dominant flavor, but even so, it's barely there as well. I enjoy stronger flavors than this tea provided. Its not bad, it's just not for me.

Cold
The fruity flavors have come out more and in my opinion it tastes much better cold. I'm enjoying it quite a bit, enough to give an extra star.

Fruity green teas can be hit or miss for me and this one is a hit. I love this combination of coconut and mango tropical yumminess. I added a little green tea honey and it was delicious. This is going on my wishlist.

interesting! was skeptical but i think actually the green tea is the perfect background for the flavorings; i don't love fruit and green alone but the coconut smooths it out and the peach/papaya a better fit than citrus. smell is mostly buttery coconut oil and the taste for me is mostly peach and papaya. it's pleasant.

I cold brewed this tea. It was fruity and wonderful. Love the coconut flavor in it. Will for sure get this tea again.

Update: Forgot to cold brew this tea but I must say it's still very pleasant hot/warm. Though the fruit flavors aren't as intense.

Updated from 5/17/22:
Still not a green tea person, but it was tolerable. The tropical fruit was ok, and it only mildly tastes like green tea, so I guess I'm either steeping it better or I'm getting used to them. Steeped 2 min @ 180º.

True to the description, this tea is very tropical and is both fruity and coconutty. While I've found with many other of Adagio's coconut-inclusive tea blends that the coconut is overpowering, it blends well here with the other flavors. I can't taste much of the actual green tea, but that's not necessarily a bad thing as it allows the other flavors to shine through. Overall, a good blend that I'd drink again.

In the bag: Similar to the Adagio photo, though tea leaves make up more of my packet, about 90%.

On the nose (pre-steep): A mix of tropical flavors. I can pick out peaches and mangoes, but the rest are hard to identify. An undertone of sugar. Cloying nose feel.

On the nose (post-steep): Coconut has come to the fore. Mango is a secondary flavor.

On the tongue (pre-sweetener): Coconut and a blend of fruits greet the tip of my tongue. I get an accent of grassy green along the sides and back, but it's not slapping my face. No astringency.

On the tongue (post-sweetener): The fruit is a little louder.

Opinion: A fun and tasty blend. The tropical fruits are the star and carry the role well. The green is just an accent, which I appreciated.

Preparation: First steep 3 min, second steep 6 min. Both @ 175 ℉. ½ teaspoon monk fruit sweetener.

This tea is going in my next order. I loved the light tropical vibe. The coconut was natural, light and slightly sweet. As the kiddos say “I’m obsessed!”

Tropical lifesaver! That was my first thought when I took my first sip! This reminds me of those white lifesavers.
Green tea is not my first choice of tea! That said if this was served to me at a party it would not be left on a table some place.
I made as the directions said. My CommuniTEA packet was quite full so I used half the packet and I added some sugar. Although I am enjoying the flavors hot. I think I would enjoy this even more as an ice tea.

This green tea is muted by the tropical flavors, but I'm not upset by it either. It's a fun tea to have during the Summer.

This is an absolutely delicious tea. I think the next time I purchase it I'm going to make it as an iced tea and add a bit of lemon. Would definitely recommend.

I really appreciate the tropical fruit of this tea. It's great for iced tea. I do have to use a timer with it or the astringency of the green tea over powers the fruit and it becomes too grassy for my taste.

I've been drinking this tea for years now, hot or cold. It's one I'll buy a pound of at a time. it's a lovely tropical tea that I particularly enjoy in the summer months.

This tea makes a fabulous iced tea. The coconut and other flavors really come through when the tea is cold. It's also great hot and lightly sweetened.

This is a very good green tea. Be sure not to steep too long, as greet teas can become bitter. I add a bit of rock sugar, and it's perfect.

Wow! Coconut! I wasn't expecting it to be so flavorful. Great hot, fantastic iced, which makes it perfect for the perpetually-hot Florida weather. It's perfect with sweetener or without, and I'm tempted to use it as the base for a coconut milk tea.

The dried tea with the yellow flakes of stuff had a tropical smell. But when I cold brewed it, it just tasted like green tea. I enjoy green tea, but it surprisingly didn't taste like anything but.

This tea has a beautiful aroma as soon as you open the bag. Once brewed, it's very light with lovely fruit notes. I enjoy this tea hot, but I suspect it would make a fantastic iced tea as well. I look forward to trying it iced next time! I highly recommend this tea. It's an oasis in a cup.

One of my absolute favorite teas. Almost regret not buying it in a bigger size than just the small sampler pack! Definitely on my 'to reorder' list. It tastes great hot, but my favorite way to have it is cold. It brings out the mango and coconut flavors to the front when chilled.

Mmm, I got at least 3 steeps out of this. Light and fruity, but not too sweet. Kick back with a warm cup or an iced glass and crank up that Harry Belafonte, ya’ll. “Shake, shake, shake…” 💃🏽 Steeped 2.5 mins @ 175°

This is a divine blend of fruity green deliciousness. There’s just enough creamy coconut to smooth the friendly and mildly grassy green tea that anchors a perfect pitch and balance of mango, passionfruit, orange and peach. These tropical flavors harmonize beautifully to offer a relaxing flavorful hot tea or a refreshing cold one. The green tea base is light enough to allow the fruit to shine but its subtle grassy taste prevents the flavor from becoming too tutti frutti-like.

My Ct packet had 3 g/ 2 ¼ tsp of all ingredients including a large piece of coconut. Brewed 12 oz. at green temp of 175*F just short of 3 min. to avoid any bitterness. The golden colored liquor had a bit of cloudiness from the coconut and a soft fruity scent. I sweetened the tea and then enjoyed sipping the hot and delicious tropical delight in a cup. The second steep had a milder sun faded fruit flavor with more of the green tea taste. Chilled, this was a terrific and refreshing iced tea. The only thing missing was a comfy hammock between two palm trees. Enjoy!
