Wow, When I opened the packet ,my husband across the room said, ' You have butterscotch?'. After steeping the tea the aroma settled down. The prominent flavor was a buttery caramel, the green tea came forward as the tea cooled and I could taste a hint of smokiness and apple as well. I really enjoyed this tea.

CommuniTEA Sample: This tea is outstanding. I was blown away by the aroma that came out of the packet when it was opened. It was far sweeter than I was expected, but it smelled wonderful. I knew there was some fruit pieces and gunpowder tea in it, but was not prepared for the crème brulee flavors that were in it. It was an outstanding addition. When sipping this, I feel like I'm walking outside on a cool morning while eating a cinnamon roll. An outstanding blend!

Oh yum. Yum, yum, yum. Deliciousness and warm cozy feelings with every sip. I just feel like snuggling up with this tea. This totally blew my mind. I didn't taste the green tea at all, which is okay. The aroma from the bag and the brewed tea is definitely 100% creme brulee to me. This is also awesome as a latte. One of my local tea shops always has this tea on hand and I always have to get the latte! One of my new faves here!!!

21 Oct 21 communiTEA retaste: This time I steeped for 2.5 minutes to help lower grassy tastes just a wee bit … that worked! I added ⅜ teaspoon of sugar to sweeten the deal more …success! Turned out that this was an outstanding and desserty sip after all! Now a five ⭐️sip!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 20 Oct 20 communiTEA review: Caramel flavors were bursting from my little CommuniTEA packet this morning! Most players appeared to be present. The rose petals decided not to show ‘cause they knew I don’t like ‘em. A more than normal amount of marigold petals were noted.
When hot, moderate caramel flavors were noted. I added a wee bit of sugar to help bring out flavors and tone down some tartness I noted from the rose hips. When warm, I noted a mild bitterness suspected to be coming from from the extra marigold petals. Pleasant grassy flavors and zings were noted from the Gunpowder tea. I did not taste any smokey or cinnamon flavors. A very smooth, creamy and caramel-y mouthfeel was noted and lingered-on all the way past finish.
I steeped this one 30 seconds longer than normal to awaken and unfurl the compressed Gunpowder tea leaves. This helped them get ready to impart all their green tea goodness. (3 mins 30 secs @ 175ºF, 1/8 tsp sugar)

Haiku Review:
What is this fragrance
Sweeping into my kitchen
Rising, flowing mist
Did someone bake sweets?
A sugary,rich brûlée?
No, that is my tea?!?
Brûlée in a tea?
How on earth did this happen?
It Must be Magic!

Awesome flavors, the brulee really comes through. A solid fall cup of tea, for any time of year!

The creme brulee flavor is the dominant player in this blend. I could barely taste the tea and they didn't seem to be a good match for me. I think I'd like this flavoring better with a strong black tea base.

Yum! This tea is lovely, sweet, comforting. A very nice fall tea that doesn't overload on cinnamon like most of them.

This one's definitely not my cup of tea, but I can see the appeal of it. It has a nice burnt-sugar like taste to it, which can counteract against the bitterness a green tea usually brings. The creme brulee flavor was also nice, but in the end this is one of those tea that I'm glad to have tried once and that's it.

I prefer a stronger black tea to the more muted tastes of green, but this tea is quite good. The gunpowder gets lost under the creme brulee though...but it still makes for a nice, sweetly autumn cup of tea.
10/21/21 - Lovely cup of tea. No real hint of fruitiness or rose petals, but nice hints of caramel from the cream brulee flavoring. The sweet mixes nicely with the gunpowder. Great Fall cup of tea!

Autumn Mist just tastes like a caramel flavored green tea to me. Nothing particularly special about it, and I don’t particularly care for these two flavors together. However, it is one of my good friend’s very favorite teas, so I’m bumping up my review by one star.

The creme brulee flavoring was overpowering and distracted from an otherwise good flavored tea.

This is one of the nicest adagio teas I ve ever tried. The Creme Brulee flavoring REALLY stands out in the best way possible, with lovely spices to add a little kick! I added some cream and sugar to mine, and it is just wonderful! @adagioteas

This is one of my favorite green teas. This is the second year in a row that I've gotten it and I'll probably buy another batch before it goes out of season. While the creme brulee flavor isn't strong (you can definitely smell it), it is just enough to warmly compliment the gunpowder tea. It has a mild green tea flavor with hints of fruit. Very tasty!

I cannot believe how strong the creme brulee flavoring is, I opened the package last night and I could smell it permeate my room for a whole day prior. When I did finally taste it the cloying flavor covered everything else, and it's not good. It reminds me of a butterscotch pop that's just...off... and will NOT go away. I miss the roses and rose hips, among other flavors. I appreciate the picture it was trying to paint, but this just doesn't meet the mark.

Super unique. Nice fall tea. Not sure I'd order this one again tough.

It's on the flavorful side, it almost reminds me of a pastry. It's a great afternoon pick me up. I have enjoyed warming up with it on cool fall afternoons.

This was a decent tea. The aroma when I opened it was off putting at first, though I wasn't quite sure what to expect. After tasting it though, it was pretty enjoyable! I'm a fan of green teas and I'm glad to have added this onto my radar. It is a very unique tea!

I didn t know what to expect with this, but I was really surprised at how well everything works in this blend. The flavoring, which is mostly 'natural' flavoring, isn t overwhelming and the actual green tea here is still bright and flavorful and not overpowered by anything else in it. The result is an almost maple syrupy taste to the tea and naturally sweet. @adagioteas

I was very pleasantly surprised by this tea- I do not love greens, usually finding them too grassy and vegetal, but this one was creamy and had a touch of sweetness, making it a very pleasant sipping experience!

I don't normally enjoy green tea; I find it weirdly fishy and grass-like. However, this blend lacks the typical flavor that usually turns me off of green teas. The crème flavor is at the forefront, with the fruit more subtle and the floral barely detectable. Not quite as much caffeine as I usually enjoy, but that just means more cups to enjoy ;)
I added some local honey (North AL) to my first cup, then used some from the Smokies in TN for my second. I added another pinch of tea to the second steep. I also decided to add some half&half to the second cup to cover the *tiny* bit of bitterness I detected toward the end of my first cup.
9.9/10, will order again!

My favorite tea. Received it as part of the fall bundle last year for my bundle and as soon as I saw it out this year I had to get it again.

Sooooo good!!! My cup has. Strong flavor of creme brûlée, and is delicious. I’m not even sure how the flavor gods managed to get this much dessert flavor into the tea without sugar…. This tea is a real treat. I need to order more to have on hand- because this sample bag won’t last long!

Umm, I have never liked gunpowder tea. Sorry. Also not terribly fond of green tea (black or herbal, please). When I placed my last order I asked my father if I should order anything for him, and he requested this. I brewed a cup for him and the aroma was so amazing that I had a cup myself. I stand converted. I will be ordering this not only for my father but myself. We both could only describe it as "unusual" in taste and aroma, but with a "more, please" right behind.

I was already a sucker for Gunpowder Tea, so when I saw this one I was so excited to try it. And it lived up to every bit of expectations. The light gunpowder flavor mixed with the crème brulee to create a wonderful Autumn blend with just the right amount of sweetness. My only complaint is that it's only available for a limited time! I'm certainly going to be stocking up before the season ends!

I LOVE this tea. I like to have black tea in the morning, but this is the perfect tea for an afternoon pick-me-up on a rainy day. It has a strong nose of the creme flavor, but I like how that balances in the taste of the tea--it is naturally sweet and well-rounded, with crispness from the green tea and smooth creaminess from the other flavors. It doesn't really taste fruity to me at all, which I like because I'm not a big fan of fruity teas. If you're looking to mix up your usual green tea or black tea with something unique, this feels like an appropriate compromise between the two that would appeal to both palates!
