Wonderful aroma, sweet without being overpowering. It has a surprisingly light flavor for a black tea, which I liked but might not be for everyone. I find a really like as sort of an afternoon palate cleanser, and I want to try it as a blend with some other teas

Also a great to to mix with Earl Grey Moonlight - great to blend

★★★★☆

A yummy black tea, although it smells strongly like an artificial vanilla, it tastes great (especially with a bit of cream). It's a simple but different tea.

Recently tried this for the first time. So glad I did. Delicious taste. Enough natural vanilla but not overpowering, just right. I'm going to buy a pound, I drink a pot every morning.

★★★☆☆

The flavor here more brings to mind cupcakes than e.g. vanilla extract. It's OK, but it doesn't scream 'vanilla' to me. The base tea has a pretty strong woody flavor which isn't bad, but further distracts from the vanilla. I might order this again at some point, but I'm a little disappointed because this wasn't what I was expecting. BTW, I recognize this tea as being the basis for many of Adagio's special holiday mixes, if you're a fan of those.

Pleasant and lightly sweet cuppa, really enjoyed! Doesn’t oversteep easily either

Add almond, cream & caramel = almond biscotti tea!!!

Nice vanilla taste but not overpowering. I added a little sugar to it ( I have a big sweet tooth) and it was nice and smooth. You can still taste the black tea but it's not overly acidic.

I like the simple combinations of slightly bitter black tea and the smooth vanilla scent.

★★★★★

Not overpowering with the vanilla. Perfectly smooth!
I really enjoyable cup of tea!

The vanilla tea has a nice creamy taste and tastes slightly sweet even with no sweetener. One of my favorite teas

★★★★★

Another big our favorites that we will keep in rotation. The flavor reminds me a bit of marshmallow and it's awesome!

★★★★☆

A good blend, but could use more vanilla. I only really got an aftertaste of vanilla.

★★★★★

One of my favorites. Great with milk and sugar or just as it is.

★★★★★

Love this tea! The vanilla comes through in just the right amount.

★★★★☆

This was tasty as a breakfast tea and the vanilla really comes through. I used this alone as well as in blends with almond and irish breakfast, and it really adds a nice creamy vanilla note to everything. A solid vanilla black tea that takes plant-milk and sugar well.

★★★★★

This is a very smooth black tea with a warm vanilla aroma and flavor that is very comforting. It almost tastes like a dessert when you add a bit of cream and sweetener. It's nice on its own but also great for blending with other teas...if you're a fan of vanilla give this one a try.

I love vanilla- it is very warm and soothing. It is a perfect tea for breakfast- nice treat, but not too sweet.

★★★★★

One of my favourites from the better tea club so I ordered more!

I couldn't really taste the vanilla, but this was a really nice black tea

I really like having the Vanilla, it's a nice simple tea to have once in a while. It's really good with creamer.

Tastes exactly like the cream: 'It smells exactly like sweet potato and marshmallow casserole. Decent flavor, but it's a bit artificial tasting and doesn't taste much like it smells.'

Nice, sweet vanilla flavor, but not too strong. Good with a little sugar. I like to mix it 50/50 with the ginger peach tea.

Vanilla is one of my all-time favorite flavors but often you end up with an artificial after taste. With Adagio's vanilla tea I did not get this. This has become my favorite flavor.

★★★★★

A very good vanilla flavor. I bought this to mix with other teas and enjoy it

Adore this tea. It made an especially good iced tea.

★★★☆☆

Good but not very strong on the vanilla flavor...

I like it! Not sure if I like the oolong of this one better though

★★★★★

A bit strong if you do this alone, but if you add it in small amounts to other dark tea, the Vanilla notes come through later and give a great aftertaste. One pound will stretch very far. We use 1/2 tsp per cup brewed plus whatever other tea.

★★☆☆☆

very weird taste to me? I don't know how else to explain it but it felt artificial or something?

★★★★★

I steeped at a few degrees below the normal 212. It came out pretty amazing. Very smooth tea thats amazing hot or cold. Will be ordering this one again

I love mixing this with the caramel rooibos to make cream brulee in a cup.

Can't go wrong with a classic black tea with a sweet flavor.

★★★★☆

I enjoyed this tea; It had a good Vanilla flavor. I would recommend trying this tea.

★★★★★

Another good tea for making a blend, I use this with cinnamon and cream and it is my current favorite.

★★★★☆

Creamy, sweet, comforting. Not terribly interesting on its own, but works well blended with other things.

★★★★☆

I don't really care for this tea straight up, but when you mix it with some other flavored teas it's good.

I really like this vanilla on its own or mixed with others!

This tea is just as good as David’s Vineland chai tea.

★★★★★

one of my husbands favorites. love the smell and taste. Will purchase again. Used as directed.

★★★★★

Yummy! The hint of vanilla in this tea is just perfect to give you a touch of flavor without being overwhelming or tasting artificial. I added just a touch of honey to my cup of hot tea. It would probably taste good iced as well.

Just a hint of vanilla in a rich black tea. Delicious.

★★★★★

I find the balance of black tea and vanilla just perfect in this blend. It's a creamy vanilla rather than a really floral one, which I appreciate. I fell in love with the flavor when I got the tea Advent calendar in the winter, and now that the weather is warm, I find I like it just as much. This is one of those teas that I don't want to be without.

★★★★☆

I like this tea, but expected a stronger vanilla flavor. It is more of a hint.
