Plain old boring vanilla, and I love it!
This is just the right amount of vanilla flavor for a black tea. It's good on its own, but outstanding as a base for blending.
Bright Ceylon tea with pure vanilla. Soothing and cozy, like warm sugar cookies made with fresh vanilla beans.

Plain old boring vanilla, and I love it!
This is just the right amount of vanilla flavor for a black tea. It's good on its own, but outstanding as a base for blending.
Has a really nice vanilla taste. Easy to keep as a staple to add to any tea that you want to have a little more caffeine. I like it blends and on it's own.
Nice vanilla scent. Brewed so low at 160 for 3 min finally no bitterness. Hint of vanilla flavor and too astringent for my liking. Added milk and finished it off. Black teas straight aren't for me.
Vanilla is one of those essential flavors buy I also tend find it a bit plain it’s own. This is a fine flavored black tea. I don’t dislike it but I don’t find it anything special either.
This was light and perfect. Vanilla tends to get lost, but I felt this was a pretty well balanced cup. Don’t oversteer or overheat though.
A simple, single-note vanilla tea. Easy drinking and will be liked by many.
This was a good tea with a delicious aroma but I found that the vanilla provided more of an aftertaste and needed some sugar to bring it forward. It is still enjoyable on its own but I think this would be a great tea to use in blends.
Very tasty and pretty smooth, but I still prefer the decaf vanilla by far! Steeped 3 min @ 200º.
A lightly sweet and creamy vanilla flavored black tea. It's delicious.
A suprising favorite of mine, as I never give vanilla much thought as an exciting or great flavor, but it really suits black tea well. It's simple, sweet, delicious, and one I like to have often.
Very simple and done well. Can’t ask for more in a nice vanilla tea!
Vanilla..in Today's CommuniTEA..Glorious & Scrumptious in Blends! Super fan of all the Decafs moreso, though...especially
Vanilla, Creme and Raspberry Decafs! They're so flavorful!
UPDATED from 1/14/22: The aroma of vanilla is strong as the CommuniTEA packet opens. It steeps (at a slightly lower temp to help with the bitterness) into a lovely amber color. It is still too bitter, so adding ¼ teaspoon of sweetener (to 10 oz) and heavy whipping cream helps to make it drinkable. Not a fan of black tea, I feel this is better to use in blends than to drink by itself. (3 mins @ 200ºF + sweetener and cream).
This tea can stand alone or mixed with a black tea of your choice. The vanilla flavor evokes tastes of warm sugar cookies on a cool day. It requires no sweetening and can be enhanced with a drop or two of milk or cream. Perfect level of flavor. Enjoy!
Super simple! I actually added to some oolong I received from China from a friend and it was delightful together!!
This is one of my favorite teas, great hot or iced. It's great on its own, but is the workhorse of my tea pantry.. When I have just a few tablespoons of another flavored tea left, I add enough vanilla tea to make a full pot or pitcher. If the flavor of another tea blend is too strong, I cut it with vanilla. Have flavored syrups I want to try in tea? This is the tea I try them in. This is one of the few teas I buy by the pound, I just go through so much of it.
The vanilla makes this a wonderfully creamy tea. this was delicious without adding anything. my new favorite!
Good basic vanilla. I wish the flavor was stronger. I will enjoy this though. I have tried it iced and hot and both worked well.
Expected a smooth taste and was not disappointed! I had my first cup of this as-is and look forward to seeing how it tastes blended with some of my other teas.
This is the perfect subtle vanilla flavor - i like mixing with another fruity black tea to get a nice fruit and vanilla flavor. definitely one of my go tos
This tea, with a bit of sweetener, makes the best iced tea latte! In fact this is the first tea I’ve ever purchased in a 16oz bag! Highly recommend!
This is a very decent vanilla flavored tea. It would be a great base for any blend. I enjoyed mine with a little sweetner and cream.
Vanilla is an awesome tasting tea, I love to wake up and brew this delicious tea!
Who doesn’t like vanilla,?
This is a really good tea! It's similar to the cream tea. The vanilla flavor is bold and present, but also mellow.
This is a great basic tea with a subtle vanilla flavor. My favorite use for this tea is for blending into other teas to soften or deepen the flavor of blends.
The vanilla was a light flavor but added just enough interest to the smooth black tea it was added to. A perfect dessert type tea.
It's OK. I'm settled in my ways though. I ended up using it as a filler to my breakfast tea. 😋
Great vanilla smell, however it does not translate to the black tea taste. It is an average black tea with a hint of vanilla
How can you go wrong with vanilla? This is definitely a crowd-pleasing flavor that is just right. Although simple this has always been a favorite of mine.
Nice flavor! The vanilla flavor is not overpowering or artificial at all. Looking forward to trying iced as well.
I love vanilla tea all by itself, but this is also a nice one to mix with other teas. Comforting and delicious!
This is a very deep and nice vanilla tea. It has almost a burbon vanilla smell to it. A little to much in the tea steeper can be a little bitter, so I am working on the perfect amount of vanilla.
I love mixing this one with peppermint herbal, a splash of cream, and some sweetener. It reminds me of one of those melty mints. It’s very tasty!!
This Vanilla-flavored tea is very soothing. I am indifferent about vanilla, but this tea certainly hit the right taste buds.
Not the best but not the worst. I think its a little to earthy
This is my daughters favorite black tea. Basic but delicious!
This is great as a plain cup or used as an add in to mellow out another flavor! I consider it a personal favorite!
This is my go to tea when I need a plain black tea, my kids love it too, so I make this for breakfast, it elevates a regular black tea with the smooth touch of vanilla, without feeling artificial.
I also drink this tea in the decaf form, and both are delicious. My partner has been drinking it with Vanilla creamer and a whip cream topping for an extra decadent weekend treat.
Vanilla may not be the most exciting flavor, but it’s nice to have this one in the pantry for when I want a little flavor, but nothing too extreme. I also use it sometimes to blend with other teas.
This is a delicious tea. I like it plain without milk or sugar. I also like to blend it with the caramel and cream teas for a cake like flavor.
I am still working on getting this one right. The vanilla is very lackluster and I want it to be more in the forefront. I am going to try with a spash of milk and I just purchased Cream to mix with this one.
I love to bake and this tea is great to drink when I am baking cookies or baked goods for the holidays. It is a black tea with notes of vanilla and an enjoyable cup of tea. I do not add milk, honey or sugar to my teas but I would think that if you added those ingredients to this tea it would be like drinking a fine dessert.
Lovers of sweeter teas and vanilla will enjoy this on its own. For those who shy away from sweetness, this is still a great choice to blend with other black teas. I add a pinch of this to strong breakfast blends and it adds a wonderful vanilla note. Perfect for elevating a less-exciting tea into something layered and wonderful.
Doing a side by side with Cream tea, I prefer this one. They are similar but this has more pure vanilla taste and is less milky. Nice tea for all seasons.
This tea is delightful! It smells like birthday cake. Very comforting, sweet taste even without adding sugar.
My all time favorite tea flavor - perfect for with milk.
Nice light vanilla flavor. Easy drinking tea not bitter and not too strong. Brewed for 3 minutes.
Just enough vanilla.Add a touch of honey and it is a pretty good tea. Now I have to add 31 characters to qualify.
I got this to home blend with cream and butterscotch. Super yummy together but vanilla is also solid on its own.
