This was a Christmas gift for my mother-in-law, who is impossible to shop for. She loved it! Now I know where to get her future gifts.
It's a ceylon with a sort of brown sugar/vanilla bean aroma and flavor. I like it, but it's not very interesting on its own.

This is probably the best vanilla tea available in the American market. soft, full mouth feel with little tanin aftertaste. The vanilla is warm and present, without being overly floral or perfume-y. Tastes fantastic on its own, but also good with a splash of milk. A definite recommend for anyone who likes flavored black tea!

I started my love for tea with a simple black vanilla tea such as this so its always a favorite. By far the best quality Ive had over the years. the steeping directions make the perfect cup every time.
Use vanilla a lot, especially with teas that I may be too bitter. Can find this in my cupboard all the time...

Love the scent and was surprised I needed no milk or cream to bring out the flavor. Honey is my choice of sweetener for this tea.

Great aroma in the bag that really disappears when brewed. Mellow flavor on its own, but really works well in blends. Recommend as a basic tea or great blend flavor.
I ordered this tea looking for a simple but tasty tea to keep at work. This tea fits the bill completely. The vanilla isn't overpowering after brewing and with a bit of sugar in the raw it makes the perfect cuppa for getting through those spreadsheets.
I really didn't get much vanilla flavor from this. I much prefer Earl Grey Moonlight. Didn't seem that different from the plain black teas honestly. Disappointing, as it smells like I should have more vanilla flavor. Not a favorite.
This was good. Black tea is not my fav. It was sent to me after asking them not to.
the tea didn't have as strong of a vanilla flavor as I would have liked it to have with one teaspoon full. Next time I'll probably add more, or just a vanilla teabag I have from another brand. Wasn't bad, but wasn't as good as I was expecting

Tea cupboard workhorse. Blends well with other teas but can contribute significant bitter notes if left to seep to long.

Not the strongest tea on its own, but I loved this mixed with almost everything else I purchased. This tea is very versatile in what it can be added to to add that hint of sweetness that comes from vanilla.

This one has a smooth flavoring to it. It's delicious hot or cold. I personally like it best cold and mixed with the caramel black tea.
Love this! So smooth on it's own. but agree w others that blending w other teas is the beauty of this tea. Love to mix w the 'Moonlight Earl Grey' to bring out the creaminess. Personally, I think the vanilla
A nice mixer with fruit flavored blacks or herbals. I'm currently drinking it with dewy cherry, iced with a bit of sugar and it is delicious.
I use this vanilla tea to mix with some of my stronger flavored teas to mellow them out a bit. It is excellent on its own as well. A staple in my cabinet for sure.
This is definitely a good flavor, especially for blending. I like mixing it with the black fruit-flavor teas.
It is a great blending tea. I blended it with some chocolate and it was delicious. I could see a lot of possibilities here -- peppermint for example?
Vanilla oolong is soooo much better, but this is great for ceylon fans.

The vanilla is great, doesn't taste artificial like other vanilla teas i've tried. Also a good base tea from making custom blends.
Very good tea, you can taste and smell the vanilla throughout the house and its definitely delicious.
Tastes like vanilla bean extract. Very strong smell, but come across subtle in the cup.
I'm a little underwhelmed by this tea. It wasn't bad, definitely drinkable, I was just expecting a bit more vanilla rather than the hint of it I got. I might brew it a bit stronger next time.
Good vanilla flavor, without even being sweetened. Seems like it would be fantastic over ice with a bit of sweetener, however.
