Very nice, will get when I run out. Or just when I mext buy some more tea.
Amazing, simply a wonderful dessert tea that I will come back to buy again and again.
A midmorning tea with a touch of sweetness to boost your way through the day. I really enjoy this one.
Splash of milk and a pinch of sweetener and this makes a decadent, delicious treat. I'm not sure that's it my favorite chocolate tea ever, but it's one of the better ones I've tried.
Good if you like chocolate-y teas. There's a strong chocolate aroma with a milder taste. The caramel is a little too much for me.
Tiger Eye blends the chocolate, vanilla, and caramel flavors together with a black base that doesn't pull too bitter. The resulting cup isn't too over the top with flavoring, but a nice balance of black tea and the baked goods flavors. I steeped at 200 to prevent bitterness of the black tea and the cocoa nibs.
This is a great flavored chocolatey black tea! I can definitely taste the chocolate and usually make this when I m making it alone, with a spalsh of oat milk. I also frequently mix it with an herbal blend, like the strawberry ones and that adds a nice dash of (even more) sweetness! Super tasty.
Delicious !!! Dessert-like . Tastes great mixed with other teas too !! Like pumpkin spice .
It is delicious and rebrews well. I feel like something is missing though. Maybe it's because I tried campfire smores before this one as they are very similar, but one is sweeter due to the marshmallow and chocolate chips. I will definitely continue to drink it as it is very good!
I can see why this gets compared to Campfire Smores. They are similar blends, but I find that I personally enjoy this one more. My first steep was the recommended time of 3 minutes at 212. This wasn t quite strong enough for me, so on second steep I opted for 4 minutes at 212.
The dry tea smells slightly off-putting with a fake chocolate smell (despite visible nibs), but the brewed tea is lovely. Subtle notes of chocolate hit the palette first, followed by sweet caramel and a touch of vanilla. I detected zero astringency with this blend.
Just okay. Chocolate Chip and Chocolate Truffle are better.
This is one of my favorite black teas -- just enough subtle flavoring, but not too much!
Initial sent of tea is strong of chocolate and caramel. Once brewed, it is a lighter and very pleasant blend. I was worried that it would be too sweet, but it was just perfect.
Chocolate, caramel, and vanilla. Does it get any better than this? All three flavors work well together and complement one another, with no one flavor overpowering the others. This is such a great sweet treat, and is very reminiscent of a candy bar without the calories!
Chocolate and caramel - what could be bad? This tea is super yummy. Add a little bit of sweetener to bring out the natural sweetness for a real treat.
Super tasty and just got a huge bag so I never run out
This is a very nice tea. I enjoy it. Will most likely repurchase.
The alternative to an iced caramel coffee that I've been looking for. Made this without milk or sugar added and thought it was perfect!
This tea smells AMAZING, but I was a little disappointed in how little the flavors came out after steeping for the recommended amount of time. It smelled like a delicious dessert but tasted very watered down. I'm definitely not a tea expert, so maybe I just need to play around with steep times and temperatures. Either way, I'm glad I purchased this tea simply for the smells. :)
A lovely tea. Mostly caramel flavor with hints of chocolate, wonderful with cream and sugar.
Definitely good. It was a little strong with a slight aftertaste, but much better with second steep. Next time I'll try a little less of the tea with the same time and temp.
Delicious! A rich caramel flavor. will definitely order again.
This tea is decadent! Delicious chocolate and caramel flavors. This is the tea I reach for when I am looking for a treat.
One of my new favorites. Hint of sweetness but not cloying
I’ve been looking for a morning tea to offer an alternative to coffee and after a lot of research this emerged as the winner!
Great flavor, but it is a very decadent tea. I'm not sure if I will drink it often or if I would be able to get through a lot at a time, but I think I will enjoy it occasionally in moderation.
This is an interesting blend and the name is apt, the flavor profile does layer in a similar way to the tiger eye stone. I did enjoy this, but the resistance of the flavors to cohere to one left my palate confused rather than delighted. I am glad I tried this, but will not be adding it to my rotation.
It's good but taste a bit artificial. The chocolate and carmel flavor is lite but that's a plus due to its artificial taste
Complex yet mellow, tastes as good as it smells! This sweet treat hits the spot.
I enjoy this tea very much. Nice caramel flavor! A little on the bitter side.
A classic black tea with a slight smooth sweetness!
Great tea, hard to place the flavor exactly and not sure about it
K love this tea but need tone mindful that it has high caffeine, thus try not to drink it in the evening!
I had this in the communitea box, and immediately bought more. Really good, just a teeny bit smoky, a little chocolaty, very smooth, very yummy. Makes a great latte!
I've tried several chocolate teas from other companies but never liked them -- they were always too bitter or chalky. But the chocolate and caramel in Tiger eye tea balance each other very well and make this tea an enjoyable treat.
I love caramel and chocolate together so this is perfect.
Wonderful flavor and aroma. Nice blend of the chocolate and caramel.
I don't know what about this tea didn't like, maybe it was the caramel, but I wasn't a huge fan.
I thought the caramel covered up the cocoa nib flavor. I don't hate it, but I don't love it either.
The caramel and chocolate notes, oh myyy. I treat myself with a cup of this to pick up my spirits as it tastes like dessert. SO yummy!
I've learned to baby flavored black teas like this one, so I gave it a short, low steep to avoid any astringency and give the flavoring a chance to shine. After sweetening and cream, this particular tea morphed into a sweet cup of warm dessert - delightful! (2m30s @ 200 F, 2 drops EZ-Sweetz, 2 tsps cream)
A sweet aroma of caramel and chocolate greeted me when I opened my CommuniTea sample packet. I steeped at 190°F x 3 minutes, but still tasted a little bitter aftertaste. The second steep for 2 minutes was much better. There is a hint of chocolate and caramel, and the addition of almond milk and sweetener transform it into a rich and comforting cup of tea. Would make a good dessert tea.
This smelled delightfully caramel-y out of the packet, but I was distracted by the bitterness when I sipped. I brewed at about 190 and tried not to exceed 3 minutes, but it just wasn't quite what I was hoping for. It wasn't bad, but after trying it alone and with sweetener, it really ended up being a vehicle for vanilla creamer for me.
This tea was quite good. I drank it black but think some milk would have paired nicely.
I love blending this with fruit teas. It goes so well with gunpowder green as well. The caramel stands out more to me than the chocolate but they are both there, especially when sweetener is added.
Better than the other chocolate flavored teas that I have tried.
The sweet aroma fills the nose and brings a welcome smile. This has a perfect balance of caramel, chocolate and vanilla. What's not to love?
This tea was in one of the first sets I got from Adagio (Sweet Tooth), since first getting it half a year ago to now I’ve learned that some black teas do better when the water is a bit cooler than boiling. This is one of the black teas I think benefits from that. If the water is too hot it is very astringent, even with cooler water it still has a bit of astringency, but not as much. I don’t really pick out distinct chocolate vs caramel flavors, just an inseparable “chocomel” flavor, if you know what I mean. A tad on the artificial side, but what caramel flavor isn’t. In the end, it is what it says it is; a chocolate & caramel flavored. Goes well with milk & sugar.
Steeped (1) 195F 3.5 min, (2) 200F 3min
To me, this tea tastes like a combination of Adagio's Chocolate Chip tea and their Caramel tea, and I like it better than either of those alone due to its complexity. It tastes wonderful with creamer and sweetener, but adding those does reduce the flavor overall. It's not as pleasant without additives, a bit bitter with very mild flavors, but brewing for 3 mins at <200 degrees makes it more palatable straight. With that lighter brewing, chocolate is prominent, caramel is in the background, and the astringency of the tea is present but limited. For a dessert tea, I'd prefer something with a bit more sweet flavor compared to the bitter tea, but for someone who loves black tea or plans to add cream and sugar, it's not a bad choice.
The bitter notes of this tea played well with the chocolate and caramel, making for a lovely balance.
I often forget this tea is a high caffeine tea because this taste so good. It's perfect at about 3 minutes.
