Even when I brew this blend a notch cooler than my electric kettle's 'black tea' range, it comes out bitter and lackluster. I prefer my tea black, but this blend requires sugar and maybe cream/non-dairy milk substitute to be palatable.
Our tiger eye blend will tickle your palate with rich notes of chocolate and caramel. Enjoy it in lieu of or with your favorite indulgence.

One of my favorite dessert teas. The blend is so rich, creamy, and soothing. All without added sugar or cream! If you want something in the realm of cocoa or chocolate teas, this is an amazing option.
This is a delicious, chocolate-y blend that tastes like hot cocoa if you add a bit of honey and milk. Love it!
I love Tiger Eye very strong and with milk. I use two teaspoons of tea to one large cup of piping hot water. Its a perfect coffee substitute.
Wow! I can't believe how much chocolate and caramel flavor came through in this tea. It makes a great tea for when you want dessert but not the calories that come with dessert.
This tea has quickly become one of my top favorites. I love the rich, layered flavor, and it truly stands out as one of the best black teas I’ve ever had. Smooth, bold, and wonderfully satisfying — an absolute must‑try for black tea lovers.
My new favorite. I tried this one on a whim and I fell in love. I'll keep this one in my pantry forever.
It’s like hot chocolate but in a tea. Quickly becoming a favorite. I’m buying a bigger bag.
This sample arrived today and I hurriedly brewed up a cup. It was pure bliss!!! I could taste the mild chocolate notes and the more prominent caramel notes. I tasted it black, which was fine, but decided a spot of milk added fit my taste even better. My husband, who is not a flavored tea lover, even commented that this was a nicely sweet and smooth cup. I’ll be promptly ordering a larger bag!
For me this tea rates about 4.25 on its own-- the tea and flavoring in combo seem overly strong. However, Tiger Eye is lovely in various blends-- dilutes and enriches that way. :)
If only it had a bit more orange and chocolate. I am not an expert I just follow instructions but this stuff is addicting.
If you like chocolate and vanilla, this is the tea for you. Its heavenly scent gives me my chocolate fix for the morning.
This was an unexpected hit from the sampler. I thought it would be something spicy, just by the name. Nope. More like a dessert. What I am drinking right now. It has become my favorite nighttime mug.
I have come to realize I'm not a huge fan of the chocolate notes in this tea by itself, however, when combined with Gingerbread in a 1:2 ratio, it's a true delight.
I pretty much like anything with vanilla, so when I saw this, I thought, 'vanilla, caramel, and chocolate... I need to try that!' When I opened it, there was a distinct smell of chocolate which boded well. The nice black tea was first and foremost, but then the three flavors fell short of the mark for me. It's very mildly flavored, and instead of complimenting each other, once brewed, the flavors sort of cancelled each other out. It was a little flat and uninspiring. Probably won't order it again.
I enjoy the chocolate flavor from this tea. It's a good boost from the caffeine after lunch, though a bit weird for the morning pot.
Very strong on its own, but when topped with some frothed oat milk and sugar it’s an awesome blend to start the day with.
is velvety chocolate on your mind?
Need something sweet to help you unwind?
Then try Tiger Eye tea.
And you will truly see.
A brew that’s a heck of a find!
i've gotten this several times, it's wonderful for fall and winter, and colder spring days
update, still getting this by the pound and still love it as a good all around daily cold weather drink
Really rich in taste, a perfect pick me up after a long day. The chocolate is really obvious in it and I did enjoy this cup.
This tea was a fun sip with the chocolate and caramel flavor combo and wasn't overly sweet.
this is a really nice caramely, cocoay, yummy blend!
Really enjoyed this one this morning. The chocolate and vanilla notes both work well together here and to me we're most dominant and I felt the caramel flavor was sort of present as a background sort of sweetness. Having a headache and chose this in lieu of coffee this morning and it worked out as the flavors are not jarring or over the top, but just mild and pleasant. This would make a good base for some blends especially some dessert type tea latte blends. Drank with nothing added, but can't wait to try different things with this one on the future. 212° 5 min.
August 25: I can’t find this packet and I’m sad about it.
ok certainly not 'bad' but this one too fake tasting for me.
CommuniTEA sample, 3 min @ 212 F, second cup for 3 min @ 195 F. I do not think this would be a tea that I would buy regularly, but I'm very impressed with how tasty it was. I don't normally care for flavored blends or Ceylon tea, but I feel like the sweet aspects of the flavorings here balance out some of the bitterness and astringency of the Ceylon. Steeping it at a lower temperature also helps, as well as adding milk and 2 grams of crystal rock sugar, which I did for my second cup. It smells like chocolate breakfast cereals, chocolaty, toasty in a sweet way, and adding the milk makes it kind of taste like the leftover cereal milk! On its own, it still is bitter, and without the milk and sugar, I would only give it four stars. But this is clearly meant to be a dessert tea, so as a dessert tea I shall serve it!
This is wonderful! Just the right amount of flavor, this is definitely tea with a touch of decadence. I think I need this in my life!
Tiger Eye 🐯🧿 is a choco-latte-tea dream.. either by itself or in blends! Add some creme of your choice and a tad bit of sweetening of preference... for a dessert-y bliss sip!
Strong chocolate aroma with a hint of caramel upon opening the bag. While steeping, the chocolate aroma mingled beautifully with the earthy scent of the black tea base. With a bit of sugar and milk, this makes for a really delicious, dessert-like cup with a nice, smooth black tea base. The chocolate and caramel notes are subtle but present enough to elevate this tea from a standard black to a lovely and sweet afternoon treat.
Very chocolately smell. A touch bitterness, but after adding some sugar, it tasted like a chocolate brownie. As it cooled, I got some notes of blackberry in the aftertaste. I suspect that it would give a 2nd steep, but I haven't tried yet.
smells sweet with a nice subtle flavor. i don’t put any sweetener or milk/cream in my tea.
This is a smooth chocolate tea with notes of caramel. I really loved it and plan to purchase more! It's not too rich and has no artificial flavoring that I could pick up on.
This is one of my favorites. Has a luscious flavor! Tiger Eye will not disappoint!
I love this tea. It's caramel-y and smooth and just makes me smile as I start my day with a warm cup.
10/10 all time favorite for me. I order on repeat. A sweet treat or good way to warm up on a winter morning.
This is a favorite of mine with a hint of caramel and chocolate. It is perfect after a power yoga! GRRRRR
I enjoy trying new teas, so I bought a sample of this with my last order. It is good, but a little too heavy on the carmel flavor for me.
This was pretty decent but not quite what I was looking for. The flavoring tasted a bit too artificial or not quite balanced.
This is the perfect dessert tea for caramel chocolate cravings. I like brewing it double strength and then using it to make tea-lattes with a little cream and keto marshmallows when the mood strikes.
It's okay, I wouldn't buy it again but that's just because I didnt like the blend
I tried this tea as sample, I liked it very much, so bought more at this time. It tastes very sweet and delicious, it's one of the best teas with caramel flavor from Adagio Teas.
I so waned this to be a new treat tea, but it's firmly in the 'meh' department for me. Kind of bland, no real leading flavor, and even cream and sweetener couldn't dress it up enough to take to the ball. Glad I tried it but for my tastes, I'll pass. Others may well love it.
Good tea!!!
Very tasty and bold flavor, notes of stout, chocolate. Very pleasant like an irish cream
It has good flavor, but the mix of flavors wasn't as defined as I had been hoping.
Nice smooth taste the flavors are very Suttle but nice.
Of my most recent order, this is the only blend id say blew me away. I enjoy this one a lot and have been thrilled by it each time I’ve made it.
Most Adagio blends, I’m finding a lower steeping temperature works better for my taste buds. This one was no exception. I popped a few ice cubes into the boiling water before setting the tea in to steep. I think it keeps the flavors from growing to artificial.
Very tasty! But didn’t really wow me, I don’t even fully recall it
This tea is one of my personal favorites, love the flavor combo
Nice concept for a tea but not my favorite. I am glad that I tried it but have other flavors that I prefer more.
One of my favorites! A smooth blend that melts into your pallet and soul. Relaxing. A hint of chocolate and a stream of caramel which is a delight. I do not taste the vanilla as much as others may but that is ok. The balance in the one is perfect.
