It tasted alright, it wasn't the best thing I've ever had. I don't think I'd order more of it.

It tasted alright, it wasn't the best thing I've ever had. I don't think I'd order more of it.
I have been trying teas to make iced and this was tasty to me.
Bought 3oz and just loved it. Ordered 1 lb and it was missing some ingredient. I think either the Vanilla or Coconut was missing. Very disappointed as it is really out of balance. I can’t drink it. I wll not be ordering it again.
I love this tea! All of its components blend together perfectly!
Lovely and spicy, almost chai-ish with a hint of tropical spice.
A really nice cup, with a good blend of sweet and spice. The coconut is subtle, which I like since I'm not a huge coconut fan.
A pleasant, coconutty blend. I did not get strong notes of cardamom. Had I taste-tested blind, I would have guessed it was a coconut and fruit blend. It has rather a delicate flavor profile.
Not exactly what I had expected, which is definitely not a bad thing! I was expecting that kind of sweet, orange-colored thai tea flavor you get from tea shops at the mall, but this is not that. No, it's more of a natural flavored, slightly more coconut-y flavored version of that. Absolutely delicious. Made my own iced boba milk tea using it, and honestly I vastly prefer it. Give it a try!
I can definitely taste the coconut. It works well as an iced latte. I'm still getting the hang of tea, so I may need to adjust my steeping for this. I will update if it changes with further experimentation.
This blend never gets old. Perfect with brown sugar and I use almond milk
Does not taste like any thai tea I have had before- which was a bit off-putting at first. Coconut flavor really shines through, and there is a slight mint aftertaste.
A pretty good approximation of a Thai tea you can order at a restaurant, taste-wise. I tried it plain but I'm sure it would be great with sweetened condensed milk.
I love this tea. It's good hot and iced, on it's own and with cream and sugar. Very versitile! Will certainly buy again.
Good, if not quite the flavor profile I was expecting, which might be due to the coconut.
Honestly not sure what I expected from something called Thai tea but it wasn’t this. Due to a low threshold I’m an absolute infant when it comes to spices most of the time. Pardon my wariness; it’s instinct. I really enjoyed the end result following some modification.
First, the contents of my communiTEA packet were beautiful: several fiery threads of safflower and a couple coconut flakes peeking through a dark leaf earth. I used 195F water but accidentally oversteeped until barely tolerable. I wanted to give this a real shot so countered the error with a tiny pinch of salt and that seemed to do the trick!
Now that I had my basic tea it cried for a sweetener. I chose to add some of Adagio’s black tea honey, which worked out nicely, but it felt incomplete still and dry in my throat. This was a rare occasion for creamer. I added a scant splash of milk on hand and… that’s it. Black tea present but tannins muted somewhat, coconut and milk creaminess, vanilla and cardamom melding into each other: a perfect tea getaway.
Today's CommuniTea packet is Thai tea with black and honeybush tea, apple pieces, cardamom, coconut, safflower, and vanilla and coconut flavors. I'm not a big coconut fat, but I like the cardamon with it. It's more aroma than taste, however. A couple reviews mentioned lemongrass. I might like adding some the next time. Pleasant tea, but not necessarily exciting. Brewed in 195-degree water for three minutes.
I love Thai Tea and this was pretty similar in flavor to a local Thai food restaurant's that I like. I added sweetened condensed milk, and enjoyed it iced! Strong caffeine, strong flavor, and delicious! Mine was a little less sweet than the restaurants, but that's probably better for me haha.
I enjoyed this tea with a little sugar. It was not as good as Thai Chai but very pleasant. I steeped at 195 degrees for 3 minutes.
An interesting tea. I am not a big coconut person. But the spices were nice.
This tea has a nice coconut flavor and the vanilla smoothed it out. The cardamom wasn’t overpowering but gave a nice twang to the mix.
212 for 3 minutes.
I'm not sure how I haven't rated this tea yet as it's definitely one that I throughly enjoy!! It tastes like your on a tropical island and I like it hot but love it as an iced latte magical!!!
I know this one is supposed to be enjoyed cold with sweetened condensed milk, but I can’t make myself do either. So take my review as someone who is refusing to follow the rules 😂. This tea is very coconut forward, but mellowed somewhat by the vanilla. I wasn’t able to pick out any cardamom notes in my packet, but that might have just been portioning. To me, this tea is similar in profile to Bella Luna. If you like that, but prefer less influence from the earl, this could be the tea for you! For me, I’ll stick with Bella luna for my coconut kick!
It a good cup of tea I put Little Rock sugar n my tea, I cold brew mine.
On it's own, with no additions, I'd probably give this a 3 or 4 star rating. With the traditional additions, it's definitely a five star. I didn't have any sweetened condensed milk today, so I made do with oat milk and honey. The only reason I wouldn't drink it all the time, is I can't afford the calories. This one is so delicious made the traditional way and iced. Creamy, spicy, and sweet. (190 for 3-4 min. first steep, 195 for 10-15 min for second steep)
This tea is so good on a hot day! I am definitely buying more.
Delicious! Brew the tea strong, and sweeten with sweetened condensed milk. Hot or iced, it’s absolutely fabulous!
This is one of the few Adagio teas I add milk and sweetener to on a regular basis. I enjoy it cold brewed and although not the same as the tea I get at Thai restaurants, it's still very good and I enjoy it thoroughly. Read some of the reviews on here for ideas on how to brew it!
I love Thai tea, and while this tea was good, it's definitely not quite as good as when you get it from a shop or restaurant. It was a little weaker than I would have liked, but I was glad it wasn't too coconutty. It still tasted good, I had it iced and it was very refreshing, but if you go in with the idea of Thai tea, you might be a little disappointed. But still a good tea in its own right, so 4 stars.
Delicious tea featuring the flavors of Thailand! I added a splash of vanilla oat milk and it amped up the smooth and creamy coconut flavor.
Nice flavor combination. Added a little cream and sweetener.
I love Thai tea and this was no exception. Blend of flavors were great both hot and cold. Preferred cold with milk.
The vanilla and coconut were present right away, which made this blend a good bit smoother than I expected it to be. Great taste, and would probably be as good iced!
This is a tasty coconut black tea that's spiced with cardamom. This is good hot or iced with a splash of cream.
Delicious tea iced and sweetened. But doesn’t really taste like the Thai tea I have had in Thai restaurants. Not sure what is different, but this is still good in its own right. I think it would be yummy with boba.
I have never had an official Thai tea and I am not one to put cream or sugar in my tea. But this on it's own was nice. I did brew at 195 for 4 mins. I see how it has potential to be bitter. I did taste a very creamy coconut vanilla with spices in the background. Nice blend!
I love the taste of cardamom and coconut so I really enjoyed this tea a lot. I tried it straight, with honey and then with some half and half added. I tried it hot, chilled and then iced. This is the first time I played around with this tea so I don’t know which variation I like best but I think I’ll buy some more so I can find out!
I wasn’’t sure I was going to enjoy today’s tea but —- Surprise! Surprise! I am enjoying it and did something I very rarely do — I added a few grains of the rock sugar, making for an even more enjoyable cuppa.
I like it that the sweet coconut, vanilla flavoring is followed by a bite of cardamom making the tea even more exotic.
Steeping Notes — 195 degrees for 5 minutes in the Adagio steeping mug.
CommuniTEA packet: I would try this again and add coconut milk to lean into the strong coconut flavor.
This is nice to indulge in after my job interview! I loved the smell of coconut and the colors of the tea leaves and other ingredients. Feel free to dump the sugar and cream you want. All the flavors came through. I still prefer Thai Chai over this one, but still good.
I’m usually pretty meh on coconut so I was a bit worried about my first tea from the CommuniTEA package. But I actually liked this one a lot more than I thought! The coconut is there but it’s mitigated by the black tea and apple flavors so it just gives the tea a nice tropical feel.
Recommend this one sweetened with a cream. It has a licorice flavor to it, which confuses me because neither licorice nor anise are listed as an ingredient. I think it’s the coconut playing tricks on my tongue. Either way, this is a very good Thai tea with its own twist.
Thai tea was the perfect tea to kick off July CommuniTEA! The coconut, cardamom, and vanilla flavors have me ready to board the plane and head on a trip! I definitely got a boost of energy from the caffeine in this tea. I cold brewed, so no bitterness noted. I think this would be amazing sipping hot during the cold, wintery months! Sip, sip away!
If you are looking for an authentic Thai tea, with the bright yellow/orange color, keep looking. If you are looking for a tea that has all of the flavors Thailand is famous for, you've found it! This tea has delicious lemongrass and coconut flavors, backed up by the sturdiness of the black tea. Love it!
Creamy coconut flavors and chocolatey black tea with smooth astringency fill out this pleasant sip, leaving a hint of bright cardamom flavor behind on the palette. Vanilla flavor is very subtle, blending with the coconut. This blend is very similar to coconut, but the addition of cardamom and vanilla create a complex, layered sip.
The smell of coconut when I opened today's package was amazing. And while it was first brewed, I didn't get much coconut as it cooled the coconut flavor truly came forth.
This is a yummy blast of goodness. Just slightly spicy. I am really digging the coconut and spice combos.
Very smooth! A delightful caffeinated cup that’s both summery and just a little rich and spicy
I’m not always a huge fan of flavored black teas but this one is GOOD! I love how the coconut and vanilla flavoring tamp down any potential bitterness of the black tea base. The cardamom gives the right spice level without going overboard. I added a lot of sweetener as that is how I like my flavored blacks but I didn’t add any cream or milk (the fridge was bare) for the true Thai tea experience. I bet that traditional preparation would be DELICIOUS! This is a winner for me. Happy Sipping and Chone Gaow!
CommuniTEA portion: Quite enjoyable tea. Brewed down to 195 for 3 minutes. Coconut and vanilla are forward to me with a slight spice that complements. Would enjoy this with a little coconut milk or almond milk next time. Or iced!
It doesn't taste exactly like the stuff I get at a restaurant or make at home with prebagged Thai tea, but what it does do is pretty delicious. I really like the coconut and spices, sadly they get a little lost when making the tea with condensed milk, this is one of the few chai style spiced teas that I think tastes better without any milk or sweeteners. My favorite thing is the natural orange color, restaurant Thai tea has so much artificial food coloring and it gives me a belly ache, this tea does not and I think I am going to have to get more.
