Super love this tea! It's really sweet, one of those candy-like teas.
I love this tea! It is smooth and sweet, with an intense and delicious flavor. The apple pieces are a great touch.
It's good I think better hot than cold. I was hoping for a bit more coconut but it is still good. Not quite a chai but close with a touch of coconut.
Great tea, wonderful flavor and ingredients, I love Thai tea so glad I found this and can brew it.
This tea brings together some of my favorite flavors without being too spicy... coconut and cardamom are delicious against a black base. I enjoy with oat milk, no sugar.
YUM! All of the delught of a thai tea from my favorite Thai restaurant, at home! Excellently spiced!
OMG! This is so good as a hot tea. I have tried experimenting with it on ice with the coconut milk and concentrated milk. Not sure about either, but am going to try again with another brand of creamer my wife got me. We will see! Fingers crossed
I was excited to try this tea due to the description noting rich notes of coconut and vanilla. However, I didn’t notice any coconut flavor at all and only subtle vanilla notes. It’s a tasty tea just not what I was hoping for.
I quite enjoyed this. I cold brewed it and made it similar to how I make my chai (using half water/half milk plus sweetener). It was quite tasty, but overall, I do prefer chai. This does make a nice alternative, though!
This tea definitely reminds me of a weak Thai tea. I will try being it stronger next time. I tried adding some coconut milk to it, but I think milk will work better for that Thai tea flavor. I'll update this post once I try that.
Tastes just like the Thai late we love to get at the cafe.
this tea is delicious, not quite what I had expected but if made properly it makes a wonderful thai tea
Love this tea with some milk and sugar. Especially good as a treat.
A unique tea, not like anything I've had before. Not something to drink every day, but ok every once and a while.
I felt like the tea itself overpowered the herbal inclusions, as I couldn’t detect much vanilla or coconut. Still decent!
Found a new favorite! Excellent tea for a rainy morning, and makes the kitchen smell really nice - will buy again!
Delicious, just like the iced tea at the local Thai restaurant. It's good with oatmilk if coconut is not available.
I'm not a huge fan of coconut flavor but it works in this tea. I like that this tea really stands out from anything else in my cabinet. I make a little iced latte with it when I have some sweetened condensed milk leftover from baking.
Its different without the milk. It's different from the instant Thai tea and store bought made Thai tea. I would consider buying this again because it's really all natural and not artificial.
This is a wonderful everyday tea. To me, it tastes like a traditional black tea with just a hint of spice to give it a little kick. It's great hot or iced!
Smelled spiced and lightly sweet. It was a good dark tea with nice depth and not too astringent or bitter. The spices were light, and it was excellent with cream. With added sugar it might have been closer to true Thai tea.
The packet has a nice vanilla coconut aroma. It has a nice balanced coconut, vanilla and black tea flavor, very smooth.
Meh, thays unfortunately all I can really say about this one. The coconut is really prevalent and it's not bad if you like that but I wasn't blown away by it nor did I go I have to have it
This has a nice level of cheerful spice. It brightened up my somewhat gloomy day! No one spice stands out to me, but it was sure tasty and refreshing.
Andrea: Such a gorgeous tea! We got a full safflower blossom in our packet as well as a big slice of coconut and a couple dried apples. It's like someone took all the little nuanced background flavors of a Thai red tea and used them to flavor a standard black tea. It may not have the umami of red tea, but it does have the complexity and richness. It was tasty black, but brown sugar brought out the vanilla and cardamom. The honeys we have right now would have covered up some of the flavors of this tea (especially the honeybush aroma). A splash of whole milk brought out the coconut. Any creamer should work. It's the touch of fat on the tongue that lets coconut bloom. I wish we had a chobani vanilla or can of condensed milk. I've already added a bag of this to our next order.
Lynn: Awesome scent to the unbrewed leaves. Smelled just as good after the steep. Round, hug scented tea. I aerated the last bit of the tea and it really enhanced all the flavors. I'd recommend moving the tea back and forth between a couple cups (or using a frother) before drinking for best flavor.
3 mins @ 205°F
So I drank this one with CT today hot with nothing added as I always do on the first time around. This method I would give it 4 stars, but I gave it the 5th one because I can already tell how awesome this one will be preparing it iced with half and half and sweetener. This one does really evoke many of the thai tea flavors that I am so familiar with. The spices hit just right and while I think Assam would be a better base fit I think the one here works well enough. It definitely has a subtle sweetness and vanilla flavor on its own coming from the honeybush and it really does make a good cup even without sprucing it up on your own. Look forward to drinking more of this one. So much amazing coconut flavor in this one. 212° 3 min.
not quite a Thai tea, as I would anticipate it... but good, and gets close wth a sweetener and creamer...
definitely one I am repeating.
I've been eagerly waiting to try this tea. While I don't think I would order it, it's pleasant. The coconut flavor definitely comes through. Next time, maybe I'll try it iced. Steeped for five minutes with boiling water.
The first time I tried this Thai Tea blend, I didn't quite taste the coconut notes, but when I brewed it as a latte, the flavor profile was brought to life!
Had this with coconut creamer- definitely reminiscent of the Thai tea drinks I'd get from restaurants!
This was a fun blend to try! While I thought the cardamom was the predominant flavor (not that I minded), the coconut also made a good showing.
CommuniTEA sample, 3 min @ 212, second cup served with milk. The initial aroma had a lot of vanilla in it, and I was concerned that was too strong of a flavor. But I was pleasantly surprised, and drinking it, I initially got a generic tea flavor, followed by an unsweetened vanilla aroma, and lastly ending with some notes of coconut. A very creamy mouth feel, definitely seems like Thai tea. I do recommend adding some milk and sweetener.
This tea is great enjoyed sweetened and with coconut cream, for the most authentic experience :) Reminds me exactly of what you get at a Thai restaurant, in the comfort of your own home!
I was unsure how this tea would work. But I am presently surprised how good it is. I'm not sure if it really gives 'Thai' vibes but it is tasty for a work day.
Always a great go to for a summer drink served cold. I like to put whole milk and a tiny bit of sugar in mine.
This has become a new favorite of mine for iced tea lattes. It pairs super well with vanilla and coconut milk
Love this as a cold tea. I make it very strong and mix it with cream over ice. I also add boba to the tea. Just like my favorite Thai Tea from my local Thai restaurant.
When brewed with hot water, it has a robust coconut flavor and the illusion of sweetness. I could see adding cream, evaporated milk, or coconut milk to it for a creamy Thai tea. I also used it to make kombucha. While the coconut flavor was lost in the kombucha, the overall flavor was still really pleasant.
I am so glad I bought the sample of this tea… I cold brewed it at double strength (44g/quart) so that I could make my favorite kind of milk tea and it is absolutely delicious, with a spice profile that pleasantly lingers, even with sweetened condensed milk.
I don't often give it the full-on Thai iced tea treatment with half & half or heavy cream, but even without it, it's one of my staple orders for a reason. It tastes just like what I used to order at a Thai restaurant that isn't around any longer.
I like this one, but it’s not one of the teas that I get out of the cabinet first when we make tea here. I haven’t tried it with cream or sugar, but that would definitely sway me.
Absolutely perfect!!! I wanted this tea for making my fav latte/boba at home and it does not disappoint. Im impressed by how far it stretches especially to make a strong tea. It has become a daily staple and I dont forsee that changing soon. Lots of bang for your buck and a great addition to my hot and cold tea choices! Highly recommend ove ice and sweetened with a bit of sugar and some oatmilk.
The flavor was relatively benign: it wasn't bad, but it was especially good, either. It could have been a generic alternative daily-drinker tea, but the honeybush ruins it. Disclaimer: I have always disliked honeybush: I think it has an odd taste and leaves a long-lasting aftertaste that is not pleasant on the tongue. I thought the other flavors and the black tea would balance out the honeybush flavor, and I was trying to be openminded--giving honeybush another chance. While the tea was initially okay tasing, eventually the honeybush flavor started to infiltrate the other flavor notes, then left a long-lasting aftertaste on my tongue. It's been about 40 minutes since I finished drinking the tea, and I still have the honeybush aftertaste lingering on the back corners of my tongue. However, if you like honeybush and you like a fairly mild flavored chai, you will probably like this.
It's a good blend, though not exactly fitting to my flavour preferrences. If you like chai tea, then you'd likely enjoy this one.
This is my new favorite! I like a very hearty tea and this is it!! I usually have to combine flavors but this is dreamy by itself.
This is so much better than what I bought from a big box store. You have to try this Iike Thai tea. Served iced with sugar and cream.
YUM! Love making a thai latte with this one. Splash of cream and you’re good to go.
Tea has a really good flavor with a subtle coconut taste. Not overpowering coconut flavor, just the right amount. I recommend this tea
This one has a nice tropical flavor and is best chilled with some milk added to it! Still good warm on its own too
this was my first time ever trying hot & plain thai tea, and I love it!! strongly flavored and sweet without needing to add any sugar or cream, plus it has a rich mouthfeel to it that can be hard to find in most tea. I'm usually able to get at least one more steep out of it if I let it sit for 10+ min.
