Never have I ever , eaten a piece of sweet potato pie! After trying this tea; I want to compare it to the pie. I know people say it is similar to pumpkin. This is different. The spices are cinnamon forward and there is an overall creaminess to the cup. I'm so glad I tried this. I finished my sample in record time!

I’m not even a big fan of fall pies, including sweet potato pie, but these wonderful fall flavors make for a delicious tea!

This blend is so pretty with the marigold flowers! In taste, it definitely needs sugar (I like it with brown). It's very pleasant, though I don't think I'd ever guess what the flavor was if I didn't already know. A splash of almond milk makes it taste creamier!

This is quite delish! First cup i brewed too long resulting in a bitter brew with few notes of sweet potato. But the next brew was perfect! At 3 minutes the tea and sweet potato compliments each other beautifully. The cinnamon and clove really add to making this an enjoyable cup!

A classic autumnal blend! I love this mixed with the pumpkin spice black tea for the extra spices, but it’s great on its own as well. I’ve only tried it with steamed milk but I think it would be delicious over ice as well.

Delicious!
I absolutely love sweet potatoes, and this tea does not disappoint!
It definitely has the taste of a baked treat too. Not fake at all

Took a while to figure out how to best brew this one. Did one heaping teaspoon of tea and three teaspoons of sugar. It tastes very much like brown sugar with this much sugar, and I can definitely taste the sweet potato and cinnamon. Not so much everything else. Reminds me of thanksgiving and eating sweet potato casserole. Part of me wonders if maybe dissolving some marshmallows in it would make it better. Overall very good cup, not my obsession but solid and enjoyable.

I added some oat milk. The tea's aroma is deliciously cake-like with a hint of ginger. I never had a sweet potato pie (it's not a thing here in Germany), so I probably can't compare it to the real thing! The tea tastes so good! I Imagine to be sweet potato pie like this tea! It even is a tad sweet. But also quite hearty and satisfying. This is such a cool twist on chai. Amazing. 😍

I LOVE this tea. I prefer it over Pumpkin Spice (which is saying a lot). It smells and tastes just like the sweet potato pie that we make. I love the earthy taste of sweet potatoes and do not sweeten them a lot so this tastes very similar to the way I make it...not overly sweet. I added nothing to the tea. However, if you like your sweet potato pie with more sweetness, a bit of honey or brown sugar would most likely suit your taste.

I received this as a free sample with a recent order, and LOVED it. The flavor is mild but distinctive, cozy, warm, and well balanced. I loved it so much, I ordered a pound right after getting the sample. It also pairs well with Rooibos, Rooibos Vanilla, Rooibos Caramel, and Lapsang Souchong (I'm a big fan of blending). Adding vanilla creamer even gives it an a la mode flavor!

This is a subtle, more nuanced flavoured tea. It doesn't hit you over the head with sweetness and overt 'this is a dessert tea' flavour. It's earthy in a comforting way, not in a 'I'm drinking dirt water' way. It does remind me of the Jin Kong Que, the Master's tea that has a little bit of a sweet potato flavour, and has some good fall spice to boost the autumnal vibes. It's got a cosy, nostalgic kind of flavour, so comparing it to a pie associated with a family gathering makes sense to me. Like most people, I'm glad this was the resurrected tea.

I am so happy Adagio resurrected this tea! It is creamy, slightly sweet, with warm cinnamon flavors. It can give you a quick fix, if you are craving one of the Masters teas that has roasted sweet potato flavors, but don't have any in your stash. The second steep has more of the warm cinnamon flavors than the first steep. Absolutely delicious! I hope it's a permanent addition to their line up!

This tea is a delicious fall treat! I admit it sounds a little strange and that was definitely a draw for me. I have been sharing it with friends and family and everyone that was willing to try it, loves it too.

I was a little hesitant to try this one. I have no southern roots to return to...ha ha. But, I couldn't resist a yummy sounding Fall tea. I pretty much assumed this was going to be very much like pumpkin spice. My order arrived at almost 8 pm, so I left it for the next day. Made it to midnight when my doggo woke me up...and then had to open the box and brew tea! :) I'm glad I did! This tea is very much different from pumpkin spice! The aroma is definitely sweet potato...a sweet, slightly earthy, scent. Very nice! It smells stronger in the pouch than after brewing, but it's lovely! And the taste is subtle. It's not in your face screaming POTATO TEA. It's subtly sweet, with a nuance of cinnamon and spice. Wow -- this is quite nice! Very relaxing, comforting and warming! I really like this! This would make a nice latte, but it's wonderful plain as well. I could definitely enjoy sipping this in the morning before breakfast, or as an after dinner tea. Or anytime! Lovely tea -- so glad I tried it, even though I picked another candidate for possible resurrection last autumn. This tea was worth the wait! I hope it stays on as a permanent Adagio tea!

I was disappointed that this was the flavor that was voted for last October, because why? Why would you pick this when there were better options? All the same, I decided to give it a try when it was re-released. Maybe it'd be better than I thought.
Well, it certainly smells strong in the pouch, almost unpleasantly so. When brewed the scent isn't as pungent. It just smells like cooked sweet potatoes, that's all. Flavor-wise it's very weak. Black tea is what I get first, followed by a faint whisper of sweet potato and cinnamon. On a second try the taste was stronger, but bitter black tea was still the most noticeable flavor. It's not terrible, but not something I would ever seek out again.

Black tea with festive fall vibes. Notes of cinnamon sweet potato, and ginger pair nicely with the black tea. I added sweetness to bring out the flavors. Lovely, warming cup perfect for fall. Cheers!
