Definitely a top 5 flavor for me! I've gotten a bit fatigued from pumpkin spice and was looking for something else to fill that hole for autumn, and this 100% will be my new autumn go to!

★★★★☆

I love this tea…if it has milk and sweetener added to it. I found this tea to be very bitter and flavorless on its own (i’ll play around with water temps and steeping times). The sugar is what helped bring out the sweet potato pie flavor but still had that bitterness to it, the milk helped cut the bitterness completely. I would not recommend this tea if you don’t like adding milk and sweetener to your teas and like the flavor to come out on its own.

This has become my new favorite tea. The aroma is amazing and as a sweet potato pie junkie, this definitely hits!!

★★★★★

So autumnal and cozy! I used to make sweet potato pies with my grandpa, and this cuppa added some nostalgia to my day.
Update- still a November staple.

This is a nice, smooth cup of tea that reminds me of Fall. It's spicy, with flavors that are very subtle. I would definitely buy this one again.

★★★★★

One of my favorites. Love the combination of spices. Has a subtle sweetness that makes it enjoyable!

★★★★★

I have been looking forward to trying this tea for well over a year! It has a nice cinnamon flavor and while I think it was good I wouldn’t say it was great considering how long I had waited for it to come back.

I was surprised by how much this tea tasted like sweet potatoes. My roommate was surprised in a bad way, but I thought the taste was lovely. Your mileage may vary, but I think it's worth getting a sample to see how you like it.

★★★★☆

I enjoyed this tea so much in this year’s advent calendar that i had to buy a full bag. There is a typical black tea flavor at the front, followed by a pleasant and appealing aftertaste of sweet potato. It is unusual, but in a good way.

Not bad, but probably not going to get again. Tasted more “earthy” than “sweet potato” to me.

I first tried this tea from a friend’s autumn bash and recently purchased a sample. This tea is smooth, yet rich, and is the epitome of autumn and holidays. I take a heaping teaspoon in about 12 Oz water to steep and add splash of cream. I drizzle of honey is nice as well. The aroma during steeping reminds me of sweet potato bread being baked. Yum!

This is a nice tea. Smooth notes of cinnamon and ginger accents the unique sweet potato flavor. I love to drink this tea with gingerbread cookies in the afternoon.

★★★★☆

It is good but can be a little too sweet. I liked it but I prefer a pumpkin flavor that has a little less sweet.

I got this as a gift for my daughter-in-law. She is from the south and loves sweet potato pie. This was a great hit so very enjoyable.!!

My favorite tea used to be Chestnut, but this easily topped it, I'm so glad adagio decided to resurrect it a few Halloweens ago.

I love sweet nutty flavor profiles and love sweet potato casserole, so its no wonder this became my favorite. when i first tried it i was worried that the spices would be too overpowering and it would taste like how a Michaels at Christmas smells, but i really think the sweet potato powder and fewer spices evens it out.

If you like sweet potato pie / casserole and love sweet but nutty / earth flavor profiles, you'll love this tea.

I was very surprised at how much I liked this flavor! The first thing that hit me was the smell once I opened the package. Very comforting. Then the taste got me!
Im ordering a full size package of this.

Much subtler than expected for a black tea! You can definitely taste the sweet potato flavor but it's a much softer flavor and the ginger isn't too spicy or unwelcoming. It's definitely a very interesting tea in a good way.

★★★☆☆

I was so intrigued by this tea and had to try it. It's super interesting and I think worth trying. It's not my favorite, but I will enjoy the rest of this sample

★★★★★

I was surprised by how much sweet potato flavor this tea actually has when brewed! Add a little cream/milk for a perfect treat.

★★★★★

I steeped this for more than 5 minutes, added a bit of milk and I am very impressed! I can taste the sweet potato and with the gentle spices, it does taste like sweet potato pie. I will definitely buy this one again!

I quite like this tea, it's very different from my usual teas and tastes exactly like the name. It has hints of toastiness as well as tasting exactly like sweet potato.

This sweet potato pie tea was just so so to me. Good but not strong enough on the sweet potato pie dessert flavor.

It took a couple tries for this yea to grow on me. The first time I had it, I was a little disappointed in the flavor. But I gave it a second chance, and I let it steep a little longer. That must have been the magic trick because it was fantastic the second time through!

★★★☆☆

It’s okay... I’m not getting a lot of sweet potato flavor. Just black tea with a hint of cinnamon.

This tea is much better than I could hope. A very full flavor of sweet potato and cinnamon that reminds me so much of Fall. The aroma is especially nice. I like this better than the Pumpkin Spice. So happy that I tried it out. It will be one of my favorite go to teas.

This was the tea I was most excited to try when I saw it. I was prepared to be disappointed, but instead, my mind was blown. This rings true to a flavorful sweet potato pie with natural flavors and the perfect level of spice.

★★★☆☆

There isn’t too many sweet potato pie teas out there (or none that I’ve discovered). This holds up!

★★★★☆

I don't think this tastes exactly like sweet potato pie, but it does have a sweet potato-y taste, smells great, and goes well with cream.

★★★★★

A personal favorite of mine! Subtle but rich and sweet, unique flavor, great start to my morning which I drink quite regularly!

I'm not a fan of the spiced flavors but this one is actually pretty darn good.

This was one of my favorite winter teas. It was great hot with milk. Add a small bit of honey, and it really melded with the spices.

★★★★☆

I am very much looking forward to drinking this in the Fall. The flavor profile is sure to please. I will plan to update.

★★★★★

It really is much the same as sweet potato pie I enjoyed it so much. Certainly not something I can have multiple cups of but I did enjoy it.

★★★★★

Tastes like the best qualities of tea and sweet potato pie. Slightly sweet but not overbearing. Goes great with a little cream

★★★★★

A pretty good rendition of sweet potato pie. It's distinct enough from pumpkin spice, even though there's a lot of overlap-- this is a little lighter on the cinnamon and spices and has a hint of ginger and earthiness. Good plain or with a little sugar and cream.

★★★★★

Absolutely fantastic. It's rare to find a tea that tastes as good as it smells, but this one does. Even though it's a black tea, I brew it to 5 minutes instead of the recommended 3. It doesn't come out bitter and the flavor is much bolder. Perfect if you're craving something sweet and comforting but don't want the sugar. I think this is probably my favorite tea from Adagio.

I debated rating this as a 4-star. It wasn't bad, and if you like sweet potato pie, it is fairly faithful to that taste profile. I just found the sweet potato flavor not as good of a pairing with tea as I had hoped.

★★★☆☆

I am a big fan of sweet potato anything, but I've been burned before by teas that lean too hard on the ' sweet' of sweet potato. This is more of an earthy nod with a lighter sweet note that, as others have said, really does make a fantastic latte. Great addition!
Updating after finishing the bag; I will say the first cup was the best, but my experience went downhill from there, based on what was in the mix. I realized that the bulk of the additives were in my first cup, and without them in the rest of the bag, I got barely any flavor. While shaking the bag is always a good idea to redistribute the ingredients (and had I done that before, I may have had a different initial perspective), there just wasn't enough sweet potato fragments, marigold, ginger, etc. Maybe it was a bad bag, but I wouldn't buy this again.

I love sweet potatoes! This blend is earthy and lightly spiced. Adding a little sweetener helps it taste more like a pie. I like this blended with other Fall like teas.

Very earthy, almost too much. Nice spice but a bit more earthiness than I like. Probably wouldn't buy again.

★★★★☆

Tried this with oatmeal based brown sugar creamer. Honestly tasted like a sweet potato. Don't drink a lot of black tea, but I would do this one again.

★★★★★

This has got to be one of my favorites! Tastes exactly as you would expect

Cinnamony and starchy, I think it tastes best on the third brew. Definitely one of the more unique tea flavors I have tried!

It's a little bitter, even at lower steeping temperatures, but with some sugar the sweet potato flavor really comes out, and the spices add to the pie feeling.

★★★★★

An odd one for sure, but a new favorite! I'll have to get some more with my next order. It smells incredible when it's brewing, and makes an excellent milk tea. If you're drinking it hot I actually recommend brewing it at a lower temperature. In my opinion, this method made the spices come through a bit more and I quite enjoyed it.

Out of all the new teas we tried this was MY personal favorite. I was worried it would taste too much like pumpkin tea that I already have but it did NOT! It tastes just like liquid sweet potato pie! This southern girl loves it with a shot of cream (just like whipped cream on pie). I love it at night as a dessert tea :)

Wow... I really had no idea what to expect with this one, but it really nailed the Sweet Potato Pie flavor. The cinnamon, ginger, and flavoring does come together. And it's surprisingly creamy! Made this for my coworkers in the office today and it was enjoyed!

It's wild just how much this tastes like sweet potato pie filling. I got exactly what was promised. Cream and sugar is ideal to really make it decadent. I don't think this is something I'd drink consistently because it's a very specific craving, but they definitely delivered on the flavor.

★★★☆☆

I had high hopes for this tea, but it turns out that it’s not the tea for me. I tried it both hot and cold. If I was to drink it again, I would rather drink it cold. It leaves a lingering aroma that gives me a yen for sweet potato crisps.

Adagio’s Sweet Potato Pie tea is an absolute winner! Sometimes flavored teas miss the mark when trying to capture a beloved taste, but this one nails it perfectly. The combination of cinnamon, ginger, and sweet potato pie flavor creates a warm, cozy, and well-balanced cup, while the addition of purple sweet potato powder takes the richness to the next level. The marigold petals add a lovely splash of color, making this tea as beautiful as it is delicious. A must-try for anyone who loves dessert-inspired blends!
