This tea smells amazing. I love just holding it in front of my face and breathing it in. It tastes great too. A completely enjoyable experience. Reminds me of my grandmother's rose garden at dusk.

★★★☆☆

The rose flavor is very subtle, which is not unusual for rose tea, but the pure ceylon base tea is a little lackluster. I imagine this is a better tea to mix than to drink by itself.

★★★☆☆

When I opened this tea package I felt like someone had sprayed the bag with 'old lady perfume' The scent is incredibly overpowering. After brewing, the scent mellowed out a little, but it still was an very strong potpourri scent.

★★★★★

A soft delicate rose flavor. It is most enjoyable especially this time of year

★★★★☆

Mild with a hint of floral flavor. Wonderful tea. I enjoyed it hot.

★★★★★

This is my new morning tea, it is great in the morning and I can steep it strong with milk. I want to try it iced as well.

★★★★☆

This wasn't quite my cup of tea. I was looking for something to replace the Taylor's of Harrogate rose tea I keep around for the summer. This rose blend is more perfume-y than the Taylor's blend.

★★★★★

Rose is possibly my favorite flavor. This tea is basically the equivalent of sitting in your Victorian aunt's rose garden having a nice cup of tea with her and gossiping about the new family who just moved in down the lane. It would go perfectly with scones.

★★★★★

So far this is my favourite tea! I think the rose is not over whelming at all and I think balanced perfectly. It smells and tastes divine and I am most assuredly going to order this again.

★★★★★

Used as part of a gift set for my wedding guests. I love this tea! One of my ultimate favorite~ Fresh and floral, with a hint of sweetness on it's own. I love to use rose flavored sugar cubes to lightly sweeten it further. Highly recommended if you love a good rose tea!

★★★★★

The sample wasn't available so I took a chance and bought 3 oz. So glad I did! The aroma is wonderful and the taste is summery. An elegant tea.

★★★★★

This is my favorite tea by Adagio. When you pour the hot water over the tea, it smells like roses, and the tea itself tastes light and just a big like rosewater. The strength of the rose smell/taste varies by batch, though.

★★★☆☆

I like floral teas, especially jasmine. But this was a bit too perfumey even for my taste.

★★★★☆

This smell is delicious. Great for a hot summer day.

★★★★★

DELIGHTFUL tea if you know how to brew it! The first time I tried this tea I made the mistake of using too much and over steeping. Needless to say, it was not good. I felt like I got punched in the mouth with a 12 rose bouquet and had an immediate bitter after-taste. With this tea, less is more and do not over steep. Once you get the portions right, you get a delightful floral touch with a black tea back-bone and it has quickly become an every-day tea for me.

Added 1t of sugar. Did not enjoy. I suspect I do not like rose-flavored tea.

I actually haven't tried this tea hot-- I've only brewed it iced, but I like it a lot! It's mellow and refreshing. The rose flavor isn't too overpowering, and it's been a lovely and fragrant tea to drink iced on hot days.

★★★★☆

If you like floral T0 very much like this. I have to be in the right space for it, but I do like it very much. Very refreshing Iced

★★★★☆

This tea gave me the feeling that I was sitting in an arbor with beautiful roses blooming all around.

★★☆☆☆

I had this with sugar and it was still bitter. I wanted to try the rose flavor and I don't think it's for me. If you like rose, go for it.

I normally love rose flavor and was super excited to sample this tea, but it was sadly a bit of a let down. I was expecting the flavor and aroma to be a little stronger, but it's almost entirely overpowered by the black tea, especially if you accidentally brew even a little longer than the suggested time. I think the delicate rose flavor would be better paired with a lighter tea, like white or green, or maybe an herbal on its own.

★★★★★

This is my new favorite tea! Love the uplifting aroma of rose!

★★★☆☆

This one is my least favorite. The black tea is too strong for the delicasy of the rose petals.

★★★★★

The rose fragrance really calms down how bold the black tea is. A great standalone tea for a pick-me-up.

★★★★★

Absolutely lovely: it has a full body taste to it.

★★★★★

This is such a great tea for relaxing! I love it during a girls spa night :)

★★★★☆

This borders on being bitter so don't steep it for even a moment too long and be careful with water temperature. Mega rose flavor. I absolutely love it.

I've been looking for a rose tea since I tasted a cup at Bald Head Island. Thanks for having it.

★★★★☆

When I first opened the bag I was hit by the floral smell, which worried me. I don't like strongly floral or herbal teas. Once steeped however, the floral notes are not strong, more like an after taste. I was pleasantly surprised after adding a splash of cream how smooth the tea is. It's not bitter or too perfumey/floral tasting. The rose taste is a nice aftertaste and it makes the tea unique and a nice afternoon type tea!

My wife wanted to try this, I'm not a floral tea fan and I guess she's not either. It wasn't bad, just not to our taste.

One of my favorite teas I've gotten from Adagio. Definitely order this tea if you're into the flowery kind of teas, like Jasmine. I drink this one hot and sometimes throw dried lavender blossoms into it too. The rose gives it a sweet, ginger-y taste that is great for spring and summer.

I really have been enjoying this tea. I love the smell of roses as it's brewing and it reminds me of a tea that used to be my favorite from a competitor.

★★★★★

Wow... Just wow! I can't believe how amazing summer rose smells both in the bag and brewed. It taste just like it smells, I love it, but then again I love floral teas, hehe.

★★★★☆

I got this one because I've been curious to try more of the flavored teas on their own. I can see now why they're probably better in blends. When you get the steeping time right--which you have to be very careful of!--this tea is lovely and sweet, but it's so delicate on its own that you have to use quite a bit of tea per cup to get more than a hint of the flavor. I've had much more success adding pinches of it to my other loose leafs for a more complex, perkier cup.

★★★★☆

I enjoy the Summer rose when I was wearing my rose bead necklace. The combined scents really enhanced the experience.

★★★★★

This is by far one of my favorite black teas. The scent is very strong before brewed, but after the flavor isn't too overpowering and the scent is quite soothing. I often have this tea when I'm not feeling well. Additionally this tea is the best of the black teas that adagio sells when iced. The rose flavor makes for a festive iced tea with no hassel.

★★★★★

OH, my! I love this summery, flowery tea. The fragrance is heavenly, and there's just enough rose flavor to give this a delightful taste. It's like a garden in a cup! One of my very favorites, now.

I love this tea! It seems like a summer rose garden, but the rose doesn't over power the black tea.

★★★★☆

Very nice tea with a rich flavor. The roses make it ver luxurious tasting.

★★★★☆

The rose flavor comes off fresh, and it blends well with the black tea.

★★★★★

This one is always in my cart! I love it! Very smooth and delicate!

★★★★☆

The summer rose tea has such an amazing rose smell. It honestly reminded me of a soap scent my grandma used to use. lol

★★★★☆

I really enjoyed this tea on a chilly morning warming up into a warm day. It was a great start to my day.

★★★★★

This tea reminds me of days long ago growing up as a youngin living in California running about in the summer time smelling the roses and and breathing the crisp California breeze. Just imagine SMELLING the most pungent rose you've ever sunk your nostrils into while standing amidst the crashing waves of the pacific ocean. That is the best way I can think to describe this tea.

Yes.

★★★★☆

Delicious and smooth. Great way to start my morning.

★★★☆☆

I know most single flavor teas tend to have a strong presence, but I found the rose overpowering. However, it worked great to add just a small smidge to some of the teas I blend at home with left overs from other bags of tea. Black tea with dewy cherry and just a pinch of the rose makes for a very nice blend.

Excellent tea with sweet floral essence of roses, a superb tea to accompany sweet pastries with friends!

★★★★☆

The blend is good, but not great. The summer rose scent is pretty strong for those who like the smell of roses .)

★★★★★

Very light and crisp, not an overwhelming floral note.
