Summer Rose is a good, solid black tea. I'm willing to try anything that has rose in it, as I love the subtle flavor it adds. Sadly, this tea had very little rose flavor smelled like hay.

I was real hesitant when I opened and drank this. The leaves smell so strong, the brewed tea is still pretty floral, but the flavor is great? It's a really nice flower tea! Unexpectedly!
Wow, the scent from the rose pedals is really there at the first sip. I can also taste the roses. The tea I did not steep too long so it was not bitter. I added honey and the whole cup was very enjoyable to me. Will purchase again.

I like it but it has a slight bitter flavor that kind of interupts the smooth rose flavor that I love so I add just a smidge raw sugar. I don't like putting sugar in my teas but with the bitter taste I do to keep the smooth rose flavor.
This tea is delicate on the taste buds and your noise- I highly recommend cold brewing this for a light afternoon tea!

I ve been trying to find something that was as delicious since then, and wasn t successful until I tried Summer Rose. It s not just as good as that first rose tea, it s so much better. If you like floral teas you will love this. It has a beautiful aroma and a slightly astringent taste. This tea is great year round even if the name makes you think it is only a summer sipper.
