This tea is great hot or iced. When hot, I like it with a splash of almond milk.

I pretty much knew I would like this one as soon as I saw it in the CT packets. I love strawberries and I love black Teas. I was not disappointed. :D It definitely has that signature slight black tea bitterness but I always add a bit of sweetener to my tea anyways which helps with that. This one would be yummy with cream too I imagine! I want to try it iced as well because I have a new obsession with making my own fruit bubble tea at home lately. I will have to purchase a bag of this to experiment!

★★★★★

I love strawberries and this has a great strawberry aroma and flavor. My tea tasted just a little bitter so it helped to add some milk and honey. Next time I will experiment with brewing it at a lower temperature.

The strawberry flavour seems obviously artificial to me, and I made the mistake of brewing the Ceylon tea at 212 F. I think it would have tasted a better at 195-200 F. In any case, this just isn't for me.

It was fine. It wasn't great, wasn't terrible. Just ok. I could tell there was some fruit flavour, but not enough to be like, 'oh, this is a strawberry tea.' And I think this is one of those teas that should probably only be iced.

CommuniTea - Sample. Strong, strawberry sweet aroma hits your nose on opening the packet. As others have noted, I was expecting an artificial taste, but that was not the case. First brew was slightly astringent, but had pleasant strawberry undertones. The second brew was smoother and more subtle. A good tea!

I'm always a little wary of flavored black teas because they tend to get very bitter very quickly. This tea was no exception, which is why I'm glad I made sure to brew my communiTea packet at home this morning instead of at work so I could steep it cooler (195f) and have the opportunity to add sugar to bring out the strawberry. On its own this tea would probably only get 2 stars from me because even at the cooler brewing temp it was quite bitter, but after adding honey and some vanilla soy milk, it was delicious! I ended up with a beautiful cup that tasted like strawberries and cream.

CommuniTEA portion: Wonderful strawberry aroma upon opening the packet. Steeped at 195 for 3 minutes. Wasn't really getting the strawberry notes until I let it cool, then it was incredibly refreshing. Would like to try this for a cold brew next time.

A delightful sweetness greets the nose from this morning's CT packet. This one just begs for a cold brew, so I opted for the fridge instead of the kettle.

A great decision - this is a -delightful- iced tea! Bright berry sweetness without tasting artificial or overly sugary, with the pleasant black tea undertone that blends perfectly into something both mellow and fresh. I chose to add nothing to it - it's lovely just as it is!

(11/11/2021)What is this? All I got was a basic Ceylon tea. I tasted no strawberry in this one. Do yourself a favor and buy the Wild Strawberry instead! There are plenty of fandom blends like UNG that emphasize strawberry. UPDATE: I thought I would try this again. Not enough Strawberry and Ceylon needs to back off. I'm telling you, Wild Strawberry is your tea if you want Strawberry tasting tea.

Strawberry flavors are strong throughout this sip - tart on the front, fading into a mellow, juicy sweetness. However, Ceylon is not my ideal choice of base for a strawberry tea, as the strawberry enhances astringency.

Cold brewed and delicious iced. Black tea with a nice strawberry flavor. Refreshing without making me thirsty in the Florida summer heat.

I'm learning that I like most fruit flavored black teas with a bit of sugar added, it really brings the fruit forward by mellowing the black tea a touch. Delicious flavor, a berry nice start to my day!

This tea isn’t as amazing as I’d like for strawberry. Especially when I know I love the decaf version. I’m giving it four stars instead of three mostly because I think my packet was disproportionately heavy on raspberry leaves. I noted this first when I opened the packet and didn’t get the strong candy strawberry (or any strawberry) aroma and was reinforced on steeping. Very muted fruit flavor

Always a classic! This strawberry tea has a lovely juicy flavor to it and it's delicious both hot and iced. It's also great in blends!

It's a little bit bitter when hot, which lessens as it cools. The strawberry flavor comes through more as it cools, too.

UPDATED from 11/11/21: Steeping at 200ºF helps reduce the bitterness of this tea, which has a distinct strawberry aroma and flavor. There is a Ceylon tea smell as the CommuniTea packet opens. Hints of raspberry and strawberry stems could be seen. This tastes like a good, strong black tea, with a strong astringency (probably thanks in part to the raspberry leaves). Both strawberry and raspberry leaves have great health benefits, however, hot, this tea is too bitter for my palate. Adding ½ teaspoon of sweetener (to 10 oz of tea), and heavy whipping cream seems to bring out the hidden fruits a bit more, and s mooths out the bitterness which now only lingers into the clean finish. It is not until the tea cools that the strawberry flavor actually comes through. (3 mins @ 200ºF + sweetener and cream).

Delicious strawberry tea! Loved it best, sweetened and cooled a bit to enjoy a wonderful bloom of strawberry flavor. The Ceylon tea base adds a bright and pleasant astringency to the berry tang.

My CT packet had 4 g/ 2 tsp of dark tea leaves with green raspberry ones. Didn’t spot any strawberry pieces; the natural flavoring must have made the difference. Brewed 12 oz. at 195*F for 3 min. then sweetened the golden brown liquor with agave. A resteep of 6 oz. was strawberry bliss! No bitterness was detected in either steep. Tried it cold and boy, what a terrific iced tea! The strawberry flavor really came forward when chilled. This is a nice berry tea to enjoy year round, hot or cold. And for those dark winter days, it’s a ray of sunshine in a cup reminding you spring and summer are just ahead.

Loved the aroma of strawberries as soon as I opened the packet. First taste made me smile. It is really good tea. I did detect a bit of bitterness in the last couple of sips.

Very much a fan of this one! Found the strawberry flavor to be a great compliment to the black tea, and in just the right measure.

I cold-brewed my Strawberry (flavored black tea) with some extra freeze-dried strawberries, raspberry leaves, and a little rock sugar. It is sooo good! It is like the taste of spring to me. I would highly recommend this tea!

Pretty strong black tea, subtle hints of strawberry. Not fake testing, which I m glad. But strawberry could be stronger. @adagioteas

This is a good tea, but a little bland on its own. I prefer to blend it with cream or vanilla tea to make a strawberries and cream version. It is really good, don't get me wrong, but I wish the strawberry flavor was a LOT stronger.

i personally agree with the reviews that suggest to do a slightly lower temp for this one because for me i feel like it helps the strawberry flavor come through without bringing out the bitterness of the tea. and just like the blueberry black tea, i can see this one being a tea i go for quite often when i want a great cup full of berry aroma

★★★★★

The perfect black tea to prepare Iced or cold with a mild hint stawberry. Add a bit of stevia or monk fruit and the sweetness intensifies the flavor or mix with creme or vanilla black tea for a whole new flavor. ❤️

This is yummy but not quite as tasty as the Blackberry black tea which is what I will be buying instead moving forward. All in all, it's a yummy strawberry flavor.

I don't know what it is about berry-flavored black tea but I'm always finding myself saying I don't usually like them but they're typically pretty good. This one, though, is definitely my favorite.

Today's CommuniTea packet was strawberry tea made with black tea, strawberry flavor, strawberries and raspberry leaves. I like fresh strawberries, especially with ice cream, but I don't generally like things made of strawberries. I think today's tea smells and tastes like what you're expect strawberry tea to taste like, even if it's not among my preferred flavors.

I really like this tea but I think I actually like it's decaf counterpart better, it is a little less astringent and bitter. This is delicious sweetened and with cream. Good hot and iced.

Out of the pouch this smells like strawberry candy, slightly artificial but not unpleasant. Taste wise, it has the typical gentle astringency of ceylon with a very mild strawberry taste. As it cooled, the strawberry became more prominent and less artificial, and I found it lingers pleasantly on the tongue the way strawberry juice does. I much prefer it cold! I think in a blend it might get lost beneath other strong flavors unless used in higher concentrations, but on its own it's delightful.

Oh, lovely strawberry!
Lustrous red, you catch my eye
Luscious flavor, I must try
You make a really yummy pie!
You grow on a vine
But you sure are so fine
They even turn you into wine!
Today, you flavor my tea,
You mean so much to me
I want everyone to see!
You are one of a kind
And are often on my mind
But are sometimes hard to find….

Old review: I enjoy the decaf version of this, just lovely with creamer or, honeybush chocolate mixed in! :)

Mildly flavored strawberry tea. I cold-steeped and added boba. No bitterness detected. Very clean and refreshing, but could have used a stronger strawberry flavor, in my opinion.

Today’s tea was just a simple black tea with little to no flavor to it. The raspberry leaves with the Ceylon give a bitter background taste and the strawberry flavor was almost nonexistent in my packet. This one was nothing special for me today. 195° for 2 minutes.

Communitea sample that was provided in November which made for an interesting counter to the season. Brewed around 190 to keep the ceylon and rasberry leaves under control. Juicy smell of strawberries and the taste was berrilicious, right between tart and sweet. Seems like strawberries can be in season anytime of year!

Sipping along with the CommuniTEA: strong ripe strawberry and raspberry jam fragrances from the dry ingredients and packet. Once steeped for 3 mins at 190° F (minimize black tea tannins), I notice honey-strawberry notes from my cup. When I take a sip, I enjoy nice strong black tea tannins with a subtle strawberry top note and finish with a lingering palate pleasing berry fruit.
