Used to be one of my all time fall favorite teas. Adagio decided to blend a new and improved Pumpkin spice tea for 2020. If you were a fan of pumpkin spice, get ready for disappointment. If you are a fan of hot cinnamon water, then this tea is for you. The new blend is terrible. The pumpkin taste is gone and heavy on cinnamon. What used to be a nice, smooth tea is now a harsh, dry tea with no flavor. Pretty sad...
Overall a nice chai blend. I was expecting more pumpkin flavor than chai, but it didn't quite come through.
I really want to love this but I don't. I buy it every year hoping one day it will finally taste like pumpkin spice but it doesn't.
I bought this pumpkin spice tea in anticipation of the fall season. It smells and tastes amazing! For an extra treat I mixed this tea with a Teavana Chocolate Chai tea that is a divine combo as a tea latte.

I plan on trying this until I run out and see if I can get a better result, but it felt like the pumpkin flavor wasn't coming through. I tried it with sugar/milk and with just milk and it seemed like a regular masala chai. It still is a cozy cup of tea regardless. I plan on trying it black as well to see if that makes any difference and, if it does, I'll change my review!
Significantly better than any pumpkin spice latte! There was a little too much cinnamon to pumpkin ratio, but still enjoyed the fall favorite flavor!
Meh. Not sure what I was expecting with this one, but I found it disappointing. Cinnamon forward; doesn't feel as complex as the list of ingredients.
Pumpkin Spice on it's own, didn't have the mind blowing taste I was looking for. After mixing it with other blends, I managed to make it better.

I was pleasantly surprised with how subtle this is. The spice isn't too sharp, but it's just pumpkin-y enough to be tasty.

To start with, this was my first experience with pumpkin spice tea. Very rich and intense aroma, I would say too rich for the one who is more used to pure unflavored sorts of tea. Good choice for autumn evenings. I guess I will use it as an add-on to my pure black teas, since for me its flavor and spicy taste is a bit too much.
Made this into an iced latte with low fat milk and it was delicious! I'm new to tea so the milk masked the tea taste exactly to my liking and I was left with wonderful pumpkin pie vibes!
Wish there was more pumpkin spice flavor in this black tea but still makes a great fall tea!
Update with new formula 2020: Pumpkin spice got a refreshed recipe this year. It's still good but very different. Instead of squash undertones with caramel, the blend now has more of a sweet anise flavor with cloves and pepper. I don't taste as much cinnamon or cardamom as I'd expect. I'm a fan of teas with anise, but the flavor may not be everyone's cup of tea. While this black jellybean flavor does make me think of black and orange candies for the fall and for halloween, it doesn't really make me think of the traditional 'pumpkin spice' flavor that crops up this time of year. I'm glad this isn't yet another caramel-heavy fall-themed blend, but I almost think it should have a new name like Pumpkin Star (for the star anise) or even Black Jellybean to steer expectations towards its true flavor. Butterscotch has been one of the best new flavors that Adagio released, and hits the spot for that fall/winter caramel cream tea cravings.
ORIGINAL: This tea is very smooth, not too spicy. There's definite vanilla and caramel tones mixed in with just a touch of brown sugar squash flavors. Cinnamon and a touch of some kind of allspice, not quite cloves. This tea has the spices of pumpkin bread, not necessarily chai flavors like ginger. A nice seasonal mix, gently sweet and starchy, a good match for fall!

This tea was nice! I made it into a latte, and I think that it has a good amount of spice and pumpkin flavor. I tried this against Tea Fortes Pumpkin Spice, and this tea was superior in my opinion. I would buy this again.
It's ok. Definitely spicy. But all of the spices are all too strong and right up front. I usually don't sweeten my teas, but I might with this just to see if it smooths out the flavor at all.

Very nice harvest time tea! I can relax and sip at the computer with warm feelings of hearth and home. Or, 2 cups with milk is a great caffeine source prior to my indoor workout. Sweet - no sugar needed - just pumpkin tea and milk. Yummy!
This is a really nice, mellow pumpkin tea. It's not quite as spiced as I prefer, so I am going to crush in a couple cloves. But I will definitely enjoy this tea all autumn.

I bought this as it was on sale and I wanted to give it a try. I steeped it hot but tried it cold to compare and I prefer it cold so I will be interested to see how it tastes iced.
It's pretty much what you would expect. It's not the strongest flavor or overpowering. Most people that buy this would probably be better buying a Pumpkin Chai, as that will be more of what you think of when you think 'pumpkin spice.'
This is perfect for fall, and reminds me of the Harry Potter pumpkin tea as well. IT was aromatic, rich, and not too strong. A perfect autumn cup of tea.

This actually exceeded my expectations! The flavor of the pumpkin and the spice was really nice but not too overpowering! Blends well with vanilla and milk or honey and milk also really good all by itself.

Look, I am that girl — pumpkin spice in July? Pumpkin spice ALWAYS. To me, this one mostly tastes like cinnamon and clove, and that’s it. Not getting much nuance from the tea, not getting any depth from other spices... Adding milk or turning it into a tea latte would help, but I tend to drink my tea without adding anything to it, and this one didn’t do much for me.
