I drank with creamer, I can't imagine not adding sugar and milk (substitute).
Heavy on the clove, other spice secondary, no pumpkin taste, tea is faint.
Cup of clove and spice essentially
With delectable cinnamon, ginger, and cloves, our Pumpkin Spice tea is the perfect autumn treat. Enjoy it straight up or even as a Pumpkin Spice latte, rich with seasonal flavor.

This pumpkin spice tea hits the mark! It has all the flavors of fall in one cup. It's the perfect compliment to a piece of pumpkin bread or pumpkin bar. Excellent when made into a pumpkin spice tea latte.
A wonderfully autumny aroma filled my nose once I opened the package. The blend itself doesn’t rely on cinnamon to carry the flavor, instead it’s a soft accent, with cloves, anise, and cardamom making it a lovely blend of spices. There’s a subtle hint of vanilla and overall, this is a cup of happiness. I am glad I bought a bag along side this month’s CommuniTEA!
First off I have to say I look for Jim R’s comments. They are direct and informative. He has the taste buds for this. I loved the tea. Brought out the fall spices and earthiness. No pumpkin in it but that really did not matter. Added a bit of stevia and a dash of cream and I was in the zone. I give it 5 hearts 💗💗💗💗💗
This tea is so heavy on clove that I cannot taste anything else. No pumpkin flavor. It's very abrasive and even with milk it's just too much. The after taste is cinnamon and it does linger.
I like it plain, so its not too spicey. But i couldn't taste the pumpkin. Its great for a mild fall spicey black tea.
I got this blend as a sample in my CommuniTea box. The spices seemed to unfold in the order they were listed on the packet, cinnamon, then cloves and ginger. I don't think I got much pumpkin, but it was a nice blend. Kind of like a mellow chai. Very appropriate for the season!
I love pumpkin spice, but the drinks out there in coffee shops are way too sweet for me. Now I can make my own drinks without sugar added.
I quite liked this one! It’s sweet with a molasses type of quality to it, and the spices compliment that nicely. Pumpkin spice flavored things aren’t usually my favorite, but this was nice and not too heavy on cinnamon and nutmeg as many blends with “fall spice” tend to be. 3 mins at 212°F
This is MUCH better than the previous blend. It's just about perfect to me. There is a good pumpkin flavor, and a nice amount of spice.
Unfortunately my particular CommuniTEA packet was very heavy on the clove, so much so that it overpowered the dry aroma and the flavor in my first steep. Exactly what I dislike in pumpkin pie, too! I like to be able to taste the spices and the pumpkin. Hot in the cup, the clove was too strong. Warm, a nice amount of cinnamon came through, though I couldn't taste cardamom and ginger until it was lukewarm, and then it was barely. The second steep was significantly better. Less clove, and with a better spice balance, though I wish there was actual pumpkin flavor in this tea. Both cups improved with addition of honey and a little vanilla almond milk. Though I suspect my particular CommuniTEA packet wasn't an even sample and the second steep was better, to me it still wasn't great. I'd rather have a good chai and a piece of homemade pumpkin pie...
I really like Adagio's Pumpkin Spice Tea, which is odd since I'm not a fan of pumpkin pies or the Starbucks PSL craze. They have a really nice balance of the spices. This is like a mellow chai for me. I think I like it more than chai since I'm not a fan of anise, but normally get over it for chai, but with this I don't have to. I do think that this needs some sugar to get all the spices to blend correctly for me and like it better after it's cooled down a little.
I am not a fan of pumpkin spice at all. Still, I tried this anyway. No pumpkin flavor and really it tasted like dirt. Sorry, this is not a win for me.
A good spicy tea. I didn't pick up much of a pumpkin or pumpkin spice flavor, the clove, cinnamon and cardamom came out much stronger to me.
Overall good tea...I taste more spice than pumpkin but overall it is a pleasant drink for a fall day.
This tea has a nice bold spice flavor that makes a great latte!
Not bad, but not a favorite. Wouldn't have minded a bit more pumpkin flavor, but the spice blend is nice.
This was not overpowering with the pumpkin or cinnamon flavors with other brands. This was a perfect blend of flavors.i made it a latte and it was great!
I agree with other reviews that there just isn’t enough pumpkin/squash taste anymore. I’m not an anise fan, and while it’s not overwhelming, the notes remain on my palette after a sip. Not my favorite.
If this makes sense, it tastes like bits of pumpkin pie crust that got left in the pan after the pie's been eaten. You get the flavor of the pie spices without all the filling. It's good and I wouldn't say no if I was offered, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it.
This tastes like a chia tea, but not so much pumpkin. It was good without anything, with sugar, and with creamer. A great fall tea.
Ummm no thanks too much pumpkin spice drink these days already
I felt like Linus waiting for the great pumpkin to appear. I made a tea latte with this packet; as a generic spiced beverage it was good fall blend. It was kind of bland, one note, maybe because I was waiting for Pumpkin to show. I do not know if this is the new formula or old formula. I sampled this Tea as part of the CommuniTEA October 2020 box.
I thought this was an interesting take on a fall classic. Upon opening the bag, the spices were really strong. Once it was brewed and some creamer added, the spices smoothed out and it became a warm comforting drink. The pumpkin didn’t come through as pumpkin for me, it was more a squash taste.
This blend doesn't have a strong pumpkin flavor, for which I am grateful, but rather the simple sweetness. The spice is present but not overpowering and the aromatics are actually the best part. A warm cup in your hands on a cold morning, with the sweet, spicy smell to start the day.
I added sugar and some frothed milk and this made a delicious fall latte. I avoided doctoring this up with more of my preferred spices and it was still a good cup of tea, but if I made it again, I would play with it a bit.
I don’t typically sweeten my tea, but I did with this one. It made a huge difference. I do like the chai like flavor
I do really enjoy this tea. It will be a seasonal favourite. I like to add a little brown sugar to bring out some pumpkin flavour.
This tastes like straight up cinnamon. No pumpkin flavor at all. Not a favorite.
brewed at the suggested 3mins 212° not a lot of pumpkin flavor, it did get better with milk. Came off more like a half-strength chai.
Full disclosure: I am not a 'basic white girl' that runs out and gets pumpkin spice everything at the first sight of fall... in fact I really dislike pumpkin spice. So this tea gets a thumbs down from me.
Opening the packet it smelled like I just walked into your local craft store during the holidays. Very cinnamon and clove smell.
Tasted just like the air does when you walk into said craft store.
That being said. If you are not like me and you like Pumpkin spice... this one is a good one for you. It was good, just not for me.
I just finished posting about another strong pumpkin flavor, but this is the mother blend of spice notes and sweet pumpkin as its top note. So inviting plain, and so cozy when made as a latte with honey and milk or cream. It is unbeatable, at that point, only rivaling the apple spice chai.
I LOVE PUMPKIN!!! And this tea screams welcome fall.. I even added a non-dairy pumpkin creamer to make it creamy and extra spicy. Delish!
I have bought this in the past and loved it. But something has changed about this tea. The cinnamon flavor is so overpowering it’s hard to drink it
This tea is really tasty and not overpowering. I only wish the pumpkin was a little stronger.
I love this flavour mixed with my vanilla almond milk creamer!
I added 2 scoopes not one
Fall in a cup!!! Seriously one of my favorites. I wish I would have bought a bigger bag.
YUM! Just the right amount of spice. Perfect fall tea for chilly days.
I wanted to try the new and improved pumpkin spice since I tried the old one. I like the new one better. More inset season pumpkin spice flavor. I will reorder. Makes an excellent latte.
My husband and I love this tea. I am not a Pumpkin Spice person at all and I'm in love with this. It is like fall in a cup. The Pumpkin is very subtle and blends well with the other flavors.
I honestly didn t much enjoy this one, I m afraid--I found it kind of bitter and just off-putting.
This tea has a very mild flavor. I do like that it is not heavy on the cinnamon/spice factor, but more pumpkin flavor would be nice. I feel this would make the taste more complex and deeper.
Perfect fall treat. Rich and spicy and warm. Drink and enjoy!
All I can say is fall in a cup!!! This tea has a nice balance of spices with a hint of pumpkin. Very delicious.
It taste very much like fall and I can smell the pumpkin. When I brew the tea though I cannot taste any pumpkin which is kind of a letdown but it is a good tea.
I'm so sad. I used to LOVE this tea (the old formula). I was so happy to find a balanced round bodies tea that tasted like both pumpkin and spice I would buy it any time of year. I was so excited to open a new pouch on the first day of fall today. Only, I found the new formula is TERRIBLE!!! The pumpkin flavor is completely gone and the new spice flavor is awful. It's basically 100% disgusting anice flavored. I don't think I'll be ordering from Adagio anytime soon since this was my go to tea to order and now it is undrinkable.
My first impression of this tea was a very spicy flavor, almost like a chai. On my third day of drinking this now and it's grown on me.
According to my way of thinking Pumpkin anything is a great treat and an autumn staple. That holds true for Pumpkin Spice tea as well. This tea does tend to be a bit extra spicy and seems better if I steep is for a shorter time and add just a tiny touch of sugar. Though I've never been one to use sweetener in my tea this one is an exception, it helps bring a lighter note to the flavor.
I don’t get a lot of pumpkin to the tea, but it makes for a great chai blend. Nice warming tea for a cool day.
I've always found that this tea was kind of 'meh'. but I had heard that it got reformulated. Gave it a shot and...OMG! Put a little cream and honey in this and it's like eating a decadent cookie! Starbucks Pumpkin latte has NOTHING on this!!!
