A really lovely black tea. Reminiscent of a Christmas chocolate orange.
Sampled as part of the CommuniTEA (June box). I like this both as hot tea and iced. a lovely orange flavor, a very nice breakfast tea. , not too sour or bitter, the orange flavor is just right. I did sweeten a bit with honey.
As other reviews have noted, this tea has a wonderful strong fresh orange smell in the container, but when brewed comes through very lightly. In the cup the Ceylon is really the star of the show. I really like the Ceylon so this is still a winner for me despite the weak orange flavor.
Hot it tastes just like a regular black tea, as it cools a bit the orange comes through a little more, but it is a bit bitter orange like the pith of an orange rather than the fruit itself.
The orange flavor could definitely be stronger, but the overtones are there and are very nice. This tea is good with milk and sweetener and would be great in the morning.
Bitter. This tastes like someone shredded an orange rind into my tea. Not for me.
The leaf smell reminds me of orange flavored chocolate even though the tea is strictly orange. The taste was great to where I've already gone through three steepings and shared with my 16 year old.

The smell from the bag reminded me of drinking Constant Comet from my youth and eating buttered saltines while reading. I added a bit of cream and sugar to tone down the black tea. It was a refreshing hot cup to get me started on this almost summer morning.
Really love this tea. Has an excellent flavor. Not too much orange but a delicate hint. I would definitely buy this tea. I gently dipped to savor the moment. Lovely.
Would make a great iced tea in the afternoon... Great when you add a splash of cream in it for a morning tea!
I was surprised by how juicy the orange flavor in this blend is, given how dry the scent was in the bag. I used a bit more sweetener than I usually do, and that helped those orange juice notes hold their own over the black tea astringency. I know I use the word 'delightful' a lot in my reviews, but there's really no other words for this cup.
The smell is wonderful. Unfortunately I can’t taste the orange once it’s steeped.
A nice easy blend of both the smooth black tea and the hint of orange. Try with honey!
I didn't like it as well as I expected since I love orange flavors. It has a bitterness that I had to compensate for with a decent amount of honey. Black tea is also not my go to so I wonder if it's just too strong of a black tea flavor for me too. It's not bad, just not something I'd want more of.
The scent I was not positive would be great. Black tea is my favorite and this combo is wonderful. The combination of orange flavors is perky and just right.

A very nice base black tea, but the orange is much too subtle to do anything but add scent. The black tea is good - but you might as well just get black tea.

A smooth, strong black tea with a lovely orange flavor. The orange flavor is nice, not too strong and not fake tasting. It is a tea that you do not want to over steep, as I found it can be a bit bitter if you happen to forget about it. When not forgotten, a great morning tea to wake you up!
I have always been a fan of orange tea , this is great but wish it had a stronger orange flavor.

It really smells like orange but it doesn't really taste like orange. It is wonderfully in a mix with blood orange herbal tea.
The tea isnt bad but I didnt taste the orange. The only time I smelled the citris was from the dry leaves.
The orange flavor of this tea is just a perfect balance. A very pleasant pick me up. I added a touch of honey. Very tasty!
This is a very soft orange flavor, so if you’re looking for a crazy orange flavor, this isn’t it. That being said, I still really liked this tea because it added a bit of brightness and sweetness to the tea. It was really good with a bit of half and half added. It was a great breakfast tea.

Mostly balances the citrus flavor with some bitter black tea. Tried a second batch with less steeping time and less tea and the orange comes through better with that tweak.
Excellent tea. Bright orange flavor with plenty of Ceylon notes to accompany it. I have other orange teas but none that I like as much as this one. I will be ordering more of it now that I have used up my sample.
Where I didn t get much orange flavor from the decaf version of this tea, this version has a lovely orange flavor.
This is a great tea that I mixed with the blood orange. I use them to boost my immunity when I am feeling run down. It is a energetic tea that I can drink with or without honey. I like it both ways. I've even drank it hot and cold. Love it.
