Mango is one of my favorite ingredients in tea, but unfortunately, this tea did not become my favorite.
Citrusy Ceylon black tea, lush mango flavor. Juicy texture and floral aroma, creamy-dry finish.

Mango is one of my favorite ingredients in tea, but unfortunately, this tea did not become my favorite.
I love for iced tea. I make a sweetened concentrate with it, then just add water and ice as desired.
This is the tea that my wife steals from my tea cabinet. I was raised in a country where mango is more common than the US. This version tastes like real mango (not your regular artificial mango flavor). Best during the morning.
My husband is a mango fan, so this tea is another favorite in the evening. He was happy that I found this on your site.
The mango flavor shines through. Just a pleasant tea to drink on a cloudy day. I would recommend to anyone for an uplift.
The mango paired perfectly with the black tea for a wonderful pick me up
Great mango flavor. I use this as hot and cold brewed tea. Great value and great price. I like that Adagio uses fresh natural ingredients.
I don't like fresh mango but do like mango flavored things sometimes so I had hope for this, however it turns out it is not my favorite. I would not buy again but will finish my bag. It does taste like mango, but that's why it's not my favorite.
I love this mango tea. Has a good amount of caffeine and it's a good break from coffee. Will be buying again!
This is one of my favorite mango blends. Also does not need milk, unless you're icing it for a milk tea. I love adding mango jelly when I make an iced milk tea with this blend.
I love Adagio teas, especially the flavored ones. Mango is especially good for brewing and then pouring over ice. My favorite beverage is tea.
I like mango and this tea did not disappoint. I also like the green tea version too. Like it iced more than hot.
Adagio sent me a sample of this tea in my previous order. I saved the pouch to remember to order next time, and I liked it so much that now I'm ordering it.
Pretty good!! It has artificial taste to it but added lemon to it and it was better!
Great tea with a mild mango flavour. Unfortunately now with the trade war, I got dinged with another 50% on my order coming into Canada.
My husband enjoys all of the fruit black tea but particularly likes this one that his cousin gave to us. It really does taste like mango! Wonderful!
I was expecting more mango taste but it is very strong black tea. Still good to drink wit dash of honey and lemon
CommuniTEA sample: 3 min @ 212 F. I really like mango flavors. While I’m not the biggest fan of Ceylon as a base, I think it works here. The bright, citrus notes really do come out and pie well with the tropical, fruity notes.
This tea smelled nice in the packet before steeping. Strong Ceylon forward, weak mango presence when steeped. It's okay but not a favorite for me.
I have never liked mangos, but I really like this tea. Perhaps because the mango is not overpowering. With a little sugar it is a pleasant tea. It seems very tropical. I would have liked some pineapple in it. 212 F three minutes. I did not experience any bitterness.
This tea was just okay to me.
The black tea honestly overwhelmed the mango flavor for me. Disclaimer, it was through a communiTEA packet that I tried it, and I only saw one fruit piece, so that may be a reason why it was less flavorful
Had this in today's CommuniTea packet. Only had one mango piece in it, but these things happen with the small sample size. I still decided to split my sample because I really wanted to try both hot and iced. Hot it was super mild in the mango flavor, but that doesn't always mean bad. Very subtle and glad to try it. I don't think I would order it without the intention of blending it into something with a little more punch in the flavor department. I did not add anything to the hot cup. Iced I did add sweetener, but after doing so and tasting my thoughts are that with a bigger sample size and more mango chunks I could do with out sweetener in a more concentrated steep before adding ice. I don't find any bitterness in the tea at all. I did notice in both cups a hint of floral flavor, but no where near as strong as rose or jasmine instead just delicate note that doesn't linger. Good cup. Hot 212° 3 min, Iced 212° 6 min
Not a fan. One layer of the flavoring tastes like natural mango—maybe that’s from the actual mango pieces? The other layer tastes artificial, like it’s trying to be mango but ends up closer to artificial peach candy. I tried brewing this as a cold brew, and still don’t like the flavor.
Mango is not my favorite, so my hopes were low... luckily the mango is a mere hint, definitely not a standard mango takeover! It would probably be a great iced tea, similar to what a local restaurant used to feature!
Not something I would seek out, but I would make an iced version if I come across it again!
2025 Review:
I’m still finding it difficult to taste mango in this blend when hot.
It’s overpowered by the Ceylon tea.
2021 Review:
I’ve had and liked the cold brewed mango iced tea bags, so I was surprised that I didn’t love this one hot. It doesn’t taste like mango. I’ve read that in some of the reviews and definitely agree. There is something perfumey about the taste.
This is a lovely fruity tea with bright, sweet tropical flavors. A refreshing treat.
I think I might have oversteeped this one, but I'm not really a fan of blending mango with black tea as I feel it overwhelms the flavor of the mango. That is basically what has happened here. The mango smell is juicy and fresh in the packet, but the final brew is just a very faintly fruity black tea. Not something I'd rush to. Maybe it would taste better iced?
The tea is smooth, and the aroma is GREAT, and I can objectively say this is a nice cup of tea - but I regret not making this iced instead of hot, I didn't even think about it! Wish Adagio would put a snowflake icon on some of these samples to indicate - 'hey, consider making this a cold one!' - this would be super refreshing on a hot summer day - or even spiked with bourbon!!
Mid. This tea does taste like a fleshy mango so I’ll give it that but honestly it falls short on other flavor profiles so I’m finding it lackluster.
Absolutely delicious, it’s my new favorite. The mango complements the black tea so well
My husband loves mango so I ordered this for him but I also enjoyed it. I made iced tea with it and it was so good
Really liked this tea a lot. Wish it had a little more mango flavor. Nevertheless it will be added to my purchase rotation.
Mild mango taste, sweet enough to drink without sugar. The best surprise - when cool it is still delicious! I will keep it in mind for summer iced tea.
Great flavor for making iced tea. Add a little sugar and place in fridge overnight.
It was good. I do wish the mango was slightly more pronounced
I love this mango black tea! It hits great mango flavor, nothing weak about this mango here but yet it is not so overpowering either that it will overload your senses. It is a perfect blend to awaken your senses with a mango taste sensation.
Simple black tea with a tinge of mango! Used some honey and it was super smooth!
This is my new favorite flavored black tea from adagio- very fruity and flavorful, and not bitter or overpowered by the black tea flavor.
Didn’t like this as much as I’d hoped too, has a ‘off’ essence to it for me
Love the mango especially in the summer, it's so fruity and full of flavor! Plus if I set my cup down and forget it, it's just as tasty at room temp or cold!
This was one of my go to summer favorites. Made iced with a bit of local honey which helped bring out the subtle mango flavor. Steeped overnight in the fridge.
I wish the mango was a bit more of a standout in the tea, there is hints of it to be sure-- making it sweeter helps a bit with that.
I love this tea, had a nice strong taste, nice to relax in the afternoon
Not good. Just tastes like black tea with an artificial mango scent. Had to dump the rest out.
Again as I have stated. I love this company teas but I'm not being a fan of black tea. The mangoetc isn't strong. All I can taste is the black tea nothing more. Sorry but will buy other tea
Great mango flavor with the strong black tea base. Very tasty and a great way to start the day. The aroma is earthy and rich.
Has a strong mango scent, but the flavor right after brewing is not as prominent. The mango flavor became stronger after the tea had cooled. The mango is sweet and floral, a nice addition to the slightly astringent black tea. The tea would be best iced.
My review is based on comments due to allergens. This tea appears to have a good fruit flavor and brews well. CT 4/20/2024.
A Very good mango black tea. So much flavour and aroma. I added my usual honey and a few frozen mango purée cubes I really enjoyed this tea today.
90 sec @ 165 poured over ice. Light iced tea, doesn't really taste like mango to me. I added Selefina mango powder to boost the flavor.
