Not my favorite. I don't get a lemon taste or smell, maybe the marigold takes over. I tried a normal brew, and a stronger one to see if I could pull out the lemon, I couldn't. I tried with honey and without, with cream and without. A bit better cold than hot. Strange for adagio, but I just don't like it.
★★★★★
A very good black tea, similar to the lemon tea you can buy in a store but far more flavourful. I really enjoyed this one.
★★★★★
With creamer and splenda it actually tastes like a Lemon Chalet Cream girlscout cookie. Like, wow adagio, well played.
★★★★★
This is very good and the lemon/citrus flavor is strong. If anything, I wish the quality of the black tea matched the flavor of the lemon. This was a nice tea to try and will be used more often than most of my black teas.
★★★★☆
Not bad, but I didn't as much lemon taste as many reviewers complained about. I could taste the lemon, but actually expected a little more. It's a nice blend and fast like black tea with a hint of lemon.
★★★★★
As a pretty big fan of lemon sweetness, I actually really enjoyed this tea.

I'm not a fan, and I hate that I can't love this tea. There is no way to make this tea without it being overly bitter and flavorless. I wanted to love it, but I just didn't.

The lemon flavor is so light and well-balanced in this tea that I have no complaints. It's just the right amount of lemon to compliment the black tea, so all I have to do is add a bit of honey and I'm ready to go. I'm also betting this will be lovely iced.

Strong, almost off-putting lemon scent, but tastes like pretty standard and unremarkable black tea. Very disappointing.
★★★★★
I have to admit, I wasn't expecting a WHOLE lot from this tea. I am rather particular about my lemon-flavored anything. I'm much more into the sour flavors of lemon than the flavors of the zest. I was delighted to taste a tartness from this tea that was almost effervescent. it lingers on my tongue in the best way. If you're a sour/tart lemon person, don't shy away from this tea. It's fab.

This tea is okay. The lemon flavor just isn't strong enough for me.
★★★★★
Great tea! Make sure you love lemon though because it is strong
★★★★☆
This is not a lemony as I would like it to be. Kind of bland, it is hard to find a really good lemon flavored tea.

I'm not usually a big fan of lemon-flavored things, but I got this as a free sample, and figured I'd try it. It's DELICIOUS. The lemon flavor is present, but mild, and the sunflower petals give it a hint of sweetness and creaminess that makes it feel like you're drinking a lemon meringue. Yum!

I'm on the hunt for a good lemon tea. I'm apparently ridiculously picky. This tea doesn't work for me, and I'm pretty disappointed. I really want to like it, and I will probably modify my brewing temperature and my brew time in order to make it come out a bit differently. This tea, though, tastes pretty strongly of lemon oil, and it almost tastes like a kind of faux lemon, like pledge. The tea itself is very astringent, which the lemon flavor only makes more obvious. I probably will not buy more than the sample I bought. But I will drink the rest of this. It's not terrible, but it's not good either.

a very nice tea, best with a little sugar or honey.
★★★★★
This tea is very bright and refreshing. I really like it iced as well.
★★★☆☆
Very subtle lemon notes - almost too subtle. Pleasant taste nonetheless.

I saw the mixed reviews and was a little worried about ordering this, but it was all in vain. It's not a very strong taste of lemon to me, but it's present enough to make this a pleasant, simple cup of tea. I love it first thing in the morning with a squeeze of lemon juice to sharpen the taste. It's also really great mixed with a 2/3 part of currant tea to 1 part of lemon soleil.
★☆☆☆☆
Disappointingly, my sample of lemon soleil renders a cup of black tea with zero lemon scent and zero lemon taste. It does, however have a strong [unpleasant] smell of sunflowers, which is *not* what I'm looking for. Was it just a bad batch? I don't know, but I wouldn't pay to try it again...
Note: the ingredients on the webpage list marigold, but the ingredients on the bag list sunflower, and it DEFINITELY smells of [nasty] sunflowers...

Good lemon flavor, smooth and creamy and sweet. Drink it regularly at work for a pick-me-up.
★★★★★
A great tea if you like ceylon tea. What it looks like to me is ceylon tea with lemon grass or lemon flavor. I drink this often.

Slightly medicinal/sweet scent to the leaves. Upon brewing becomes extremely mild--nothing objectionable but no great shakes either. even sweetened it had only the slightest hint of lemon to it.

Definitely a tea to re-order! This is great as a mixer (lemon/ginger, lemon/citron green, lemon/blood orange/berry blast). When mixed with the citron or the blood orange/berry blast combos it just kicks up the flavor a bit more.
★★★★☆
Not quite as lemony as Lemon Grass, but still a solid citrus tea.
★★★☆☆
This is an okay tea. I was hoping it'd be more lemon-ey so I could mix it with my green tea.
★★★★★
I really love this tea. I think it has become a staple in my house. It's perfect with a little bit of honey for when your throat isn't feeling great. I also like to add a dash of lemon juice to give it some added zing. The lemon in the tea itself is present without being overpowering and the buttercup actually adds a delightful softness to it. I definitely will be re-ordering this tea when we run out.

perfect morning pick me up cup of tea. Very smooth flavor, not too much lemon.

This tea had a nice light flavor, and the lemon was not overpowering. I enjoy this hot with a bit of sugar, but makes a great iced tea as well.
★★★★★
YES! This tea is exactly what I was hoping for. I'd been on the hunt for a good lemon tea for awhile and this is perfect. Most taste either too subtle or too artificial but this has just the right amount of lemon and a very natural taste. Definitely reordering in a larger size.
★★★☆☆
I was slightly disappointed by this tea. I was hoping for a more present lemon flavor instead of just a very subtle flavor. Smells delicious though.
★★★★★
Another win from Adagio! This tea smells absolutely heavenly and is an excellent blend of sweet and slightly tart lemon with ceylon. The sunflower petals add extra vivacious color and a slightly more complex taste that probably helps keep the lemon from becoming cloying. I wish so much that this tea could be used for making custom blends! I would love to pair it with any number of teas. Oh well. I guess I can just blend it with my basket full of samples...

A decent black tea with a pleasant lemon flavor. Not too overbearing, but not too special, either. Good choice for a wake-up-in-the-morning tea with a bit of a kick.
★★★★★
I really enjoyed this tea. A wonderful lemon flavor to give a bit of summer in the winter
★★★★☆
I do so like the flavour of lemons. Don't usually have it a black tea, but this is nice.
★★★★★
Just looking in the bag made me happy! The flecks of yellow are a cheery sight. The light smell of lemon is enticing and the colour of the tea is a gorgeous dusty orange. I love the taste!

This is a great start to my tea blending adventure.

Unfortunately, I much prefer the rooibos lemon cloud tea over this one. The tea certainly smells like lemon in the bag, but it has an odd note to it. The lemon is also somewhat off-aroma when brewed, and in my opinion, the rooibos lemon cloud has much more flavor than this tea. This is really unfortunate. I had hoped to use this tea in blends, as it has a shorter steeping time, but the flavor in the lemon cloud is simply better.

One of my top two favorites so far. To me it doesn't really taste like lemon. I can't put my finger on anything it tastes like, but the flavor is just amazing and I never get tired of it. I love it with sugar and cream.
★★★★☆
I bought this tea for my mom, who really only likes lemon tea. She absolutely adored it. It smelled delicious and lemony in the bag and brewed up with a slightly lesser flavor. It was perfect for her.
★★★☆☆
not my favorite. bitter, not too lemony. it was okay but not as good as i hoped
★★★★☆
Classic black tea but I didn't get a huge kick of lemon from it.
★★★★☆
I like that the lemon flavor is not overwhelming. Also, the sunflower gives a nice, mild floral note.
★★★★☆
Bought this as a sample for my little brother's birthday gift and it's really tasty!
★★★★★
This is one of my very favorites - the lemony softness is great both hot and cold. And it also makes a great base for adding in some of the herbal fruit teas! I just love this one! Delicious!!
★★★★☆
Nice lemon flavor, not too much. This might make a good iced tea.
★★★★★
A wonderfully sweet and citrusy black tea that's not overwhelming in fruitiness.
★★★★★
This is probably the best lemon tea I've ever tried. It has just enough lemon flavor that you can taste it, but it isn't overpowering.
★★★☆☆
Of the many flavored teas I've tried. This lemon is not my favorite. It isnt bad, but it certainly doesnt have that crisp, clean taste of lemon. It tastes more like lemon 'flavor', whereas most of the other teas taste like the actual fruit.
★★★★☆
This tea was fairly good. I expected a stronger lemon flavor, but the flavor is VERY subtle. If you're not a huge fan of citrusy teas but would like to try one, this would definitely be a good option for you. It has a nice, smooth flavor and is not overpowering.
