I am not a huge fan of smoke flavor in this mixture, but tea itself is tasty, strong, gives two extractions.
Blended for slow sipping, this black tea has notes of vanilla, malt, and a hint of smoke from the bourbon barrel.

Very good! Smells amazing upon opening and taste doesn’t disappoint. It is a little sweet but I liked that to balance the Smokey bourbon notes.
My favorite so far! Perfect drink to have on a cool night.
We were really excited about this one, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a little too sweet for our tastes. Adding a bit of lemon to it was helpful, but I don't think I would buy it again. If you are a fan of sweet tea's, then you should really check this one out!
in a lot of ways, this tea really does manage to mimic the flavor profile of bourbon. there's just that hint of fake flavoring that detracts from it, unfortunately, but i still enjoy it.
This is possibly the ONLY thing with whiskey flavor that I even remotely like. Smoky, slightly sweet, a bit of a dryness to it that lines up with good alcohol. I'm sure an extra lil dab of actual whiskey might liven up the cup a little more as well!
My favorite tea. I add my custom blend Midwestern Fall, and this is just the best.
Enjoy the flavor. Was good hot for sore throat, but iscalso good cold.
Amazing! The vanilla and bourbon have a great balance. Added a little honey and splash of cream To give it a unique, comforting taste.
This is a great new flavor, especially for our bourbon loving household. I prefer it hot rather than iced but we tried both. I am looking forward to using this for a hot toddy when someone is under the weather.
Smells better than it tastes. I still love it. It's a unique tea with woody and smoky aroma.
This tastes so good! The smokey flavor really comes through in this.
A very good tea. It tastes better when steeped for a longer period and cooled slightly.
I really enjoyed this tea, it really smells like bourbon. I tried it without any additions and it's tasty, however it's a great afternoon pick me up with cream and a bit of honey. It has that cocktail taste without any of the negative impact.
New favorite! Very complex, definitely a bourbon flavor
This tea has a strong whiskey flavor that was quite overwhelming and lingers in your tastebuds for quite some time. I do like the overall taste of the tea, but I prefer they dial back on the strong whiskey flavor. I would not drink it everyday because of the strong flavor and would rather use it to have friends and family taste it for fun.
The smell is divine, but the flavor didn’t quite live up to it.
Big fan of this tea. The smoke flavor is pretty forward, but not overwhelming. It really adds to that bourbon illusion. To me, the forward flavor in this is apple, followed by the smokey goodness from the lapsang.
Had to do a double take when trying this one. Smells and tastes just like whiskey. I am quite fond of it hot but could easily be made to be chilled. Very good with a little honey as well.
This is my partner's new favorite and I just ordered a large pouch for him! For myself, I appreciate a good bourbon and I do like a bit of this tea now and again, but in general it's got more smokiness than I tend to prefer in tea. I very much appreciate the other warm flavor tones.
It literally tastes and smells like bourbon. I love it!
The flavor was a little too bitter for me , tried different additions
This tea is FIRRREEE!!! Don't play with it! :D I really like the flavor of this tea, but is very strong. What I truly admire in this tea are the other ingredients besides the bourbon, it really brings the richness and spiciness in the tea. It will probably make a great base for a cake batter. I'll try and tell you in another review, but now I'll enjoy a cup of this wonderful tea ☕️.
Really enjoy this tea. We love an Irish Whiskey Cream tea from a small tea shop in Wisconsin, but since we’re out of state and don’t always have access to that, this is a delicious alternative! An easy morning drink for sure.
Malty and smoky without being too bitter. There's a nice caramelly, almost candied char throughout, with hints of smooth vanilla. I've never had whisky, but this blend definitely seems inspired. If you like sultry flavors, you can't go wrong with this one.
I had heard good things about this tea and usually like a nice smokey tea. I thought I would love this tea, but instead found it just okay. It was good but not something I would repurchase.
This black tea has a nice smokey flavor that's not too strong. My husband and I both like it a lot.
I've tried a couple of different bourbon-inspired teas, and this one has been my least favorite. It's far smokier than I prefer, making it more of a whiskey undertone than bourbon.
This tea is delicious, but I wouldn’t say it tasted like bourbon. It’s almost carmeley, and a little bit spicy - great for fall!
LOVE THIS TEA!!! I especially like it as an iced Latte!! It does take like liquor!!
I am a big whiskey fan. And job well done with this tea. A lot of smokey wood aroma from the bag. The taste is fantastic and I decided to try it with some Jameson Stout Finished Whiskey, definitely a perfect fit for this tea. The chocolate and the malt form a wonderful evening sip to add to this tea.
The dry tea smells like bubble gum, but the flavor of the brewed tea is much more interesting. Solid black tea with a light smokiness, mild sweetness, and floral notes. The brewed tea has a slight vanilla aroma.
I wanted to like it, but ended up not really caring for it. I will say it is definitely better really hot! Once it gets to lukewarm, it did not taste good to me.
It’s a great tea. Especially if you’re a fan of vanilla. The fragrance is fabulous. You smell smokiness instantly. But I gave it four stars. Here’s why. Bourbons have such a depth in flavor so maybe I was looking for a deeper tea. Of course not necessarily looking for it to taste JUST like bourbon but I was looking for other similarities. Caramel flavors, oak barrels.. a little bitterness. It smelled Smokey. But I tasted a lot of vanilla. Maybe it was just too sweet to remind me of my bourbon. BUT it will be a fantastic bourbon mixer. Looking forward to drinking it that way. .
Delightful, full bodied tea. I love the taste of bourbon and the fragrance is gorgeous!
I wanted to love this, I love whiskey and I love tea. But something is way too acrid about this blend and I don't like it. Sadly, it is not for me.
This is a great cool weather tea. You can really taste the flavor of the bourbon in a very good way.
This is a fine, and fun, tea. Smell kind of like bourdon, I guess ... but doesn't really taste like bourbon to me. That being said, if I wanted my tea to taste like bourbon, I would put bourbon in my tea.
I've never had this tea's namesake so I don't have a reference to know if the flavor is authentic or not, but my wife & I both liked it. Very interesting. As usual the second steep is really weak, but was still enjoyable. I can see adding cream on the second steep. Will try that next time.
This tea is nice, but whatever they put in there to get the 'smoky' flavor is not my favorite thing.
I thought it was too bitter for my taste. Even after adding sugar it wasn’t to my liking..
Just tasted Adagio's Kentucky Bourbon. I found it very robust with a subtle hit of berry and a smokiness that reminds me of my Poppop's pipe.
I can picture myself on a rainy afternoon sipping this tea while reading a classic book.
This tea allows me to pretend I'm doing some day-drinking, while boosting my energy at the same time. It is absolutely delicious.
Smells and taste exactly how you'd expect it to. It's not something I drink daily but is great as on occasional after dinner drink, especially with a little bit of bourbon added in!
This will be a tea I keep on hand, especially as the weather starts to get colder.
This was just okay. I was expecting more of a bourbon taste but it tastes slightly artificial. as I continue to drink the sample I may change my mind. But for now it's just okay.
This one is so wild. It really does seem to have the same flavor profile as bourbon, which was such a strange experience when drinking tea. I really enjoyed it, it's a great afternoon tea.
I just didn't like it. I guess I'm not one for the vanilla/caramel taste in my tea. Oh well!
Smelled amazing! This tea has a very good flavor.
The scent of this alone is worth it! Lovely smoky, boozy smell as soon as you open the package. I'm still playing with brew times and milk levels, but so far this one is a winner.
I wasn't sure if I would like this tea, I loved it my husband even liked it! Different, and delicious!
