I love hazelnut. There is nothing better than a hot cup of hazelnut tea.
Strong, clear hazelnut flavor. A bit of brown sugar and cream help smooth the flavors out. I very much enjoyed this one.
I added some almond milk and sweetener to make a lovely latte. The hazelnut was still strong. It tasted great!
I was surprised to really enjoy this tea. I was expecting it to be ok as I find hazelnut can be overwhelming. I was actually quite surprised to find my cup empty. I didn’t even get a picture. Lol. Great flavour. I’m going to try a second steep with brown sugar and a little milk.
This feels like it’s missing something... perhaps chocolate alongside the hazelnut? (Will have to give that a try!) Better with a bit of brown sugar and creamer.
Part of the August 2020 CommuniTEA box. The flavor profile is so simple and smooth, yet earthy and nutty too. I feel a bit magical drinking this tea - I bet fairies drink this for their breakfast!
I sampled this tea as part of the August CommuniTEA. I love nutty teas and the hazelnut doesn’t disappoint. This would be perfect in the fall/winter with a nice butter cookie or scone.
My whole house smells good right now. No one in my house drinks hazelnut coffee, but it does remind me of that smell-so sweet and cozy! I usually need sugar in anything, especially black teas because I frequently find them bitter. Now I'm learning to trust the brew times, and it's been a game changer! This tea is fantastic just the way it is! Way to start my first CommuniTea, Adagio! Happy August, everyone!
Love this one! Added a pinch of brown sugar and also a hit of cinnamon creamer. Brought back such good memories of a doc I used to work with who passed away.
This certainly has that black tea ‘bite’ to it. I added a few amber sugar crystals and the tea was much smoother. This is a drinker if you can handle the caffeine.
Great as a breakfast tea, it has a solid hazelnut taste, so hazelnut fans will love it. Smooth, creamy and nutty. It blends so well with Chestnut, Cram and vanilla. Others too I imagine. I steeped 3 minutes at 212.

I’ve enjoyed this tea as a winter beverage. The hazelnut flavor is distinct and can withstand a good deal of cream or milk substitute. The Communitea suggestion today was to add a bit of brown sugar. It was a wonderful suggestion! Will ice my second cup slightly sweetened. It could be a new summer time fave.
I usually stay away from hazelnut because it reminds me too much of coffee and I am not a coffee drinker, but this was very nice and nutty tasting without being too strong.

This is absolutely my favorite Adagio tea. The smell alone is so great!! I add a little bit of Adagio chocolate or almond milk to mine and I then sit and enjoy!!!

Like many of adagio's flavored black teas this is a bit astringent. I usually have to reduce the steep time. Once that's done, this is a nice, nutty tea, though it doesn't taste exactly like hazelnuts to me.
One of my favorite 'flavored' teas from Adagio, along with the blueberry and chocolate chip. So many are almost undrinkable by themselves, but this one I can drink without adding in other teas to cut it.

This is one of our very favorite teas. We blend it with chocolate and almond. It is so good! The hazelnut is a strong flavor and really sticks out, so it stands up well with other teas.
