Nuts aroma taste, very smooth tea to enjoy. Great to drink with a honey

★★★★☆

Reminds me of coffee! I like the flavor of hazelnut a lot so it's really tasty to me

★★★☆☆

I had high expectations for this one and it barely met them. I love hazelnut tea and had one at David’s tea that I could drink any days. This one is fine. You need to be careful or there will be an horrible aftertaste. Some say to add milk or sugar, but I usually drink my tea black so I haven’t try it. Brewing it at oolong temperature (190-200 degree) seems to do it for me.

The hazelnut makes this tea taste sweet even without sweetener. I love it.

I accidentally bought a pound of it and I'm honestly not even mad. Flavorful, nutty, and satisfying in a toothsome way tea isn't always. I'd rather have this over plain black tea, and I used to think no flavored tea would ever overtake my love for Irish breakfast!

★★★☆☆

This tea is nice, although the hazelnut flavor tends more towards the coffee creamer end of the flavor profile. I prefer that it be more like fresh nuts, or like the sweet spread that is mixed with cocoa.

★★★★★

This is a satisfying tea. The hazelnut taste is smooth and pronounced without being overwhelming. I see lots of possibilities for blending it with other flavours.

*Sigh* this hazelnut tea is all around beautiful with and without creamer, My first hazelnut tea ever. The aroma was enough to convince me, will be buying more.

All the joy of hazelnut coffee (the hazelnut and caffeine) without the draw backs (bitterness, price and Starbucks lines).

Honestly this is one of my favorite teas. It’s so smooth, soft and creamy without adding anything to it. I think of it as my ‘cozy on a cold day’ tea. That might be nostalgia from my childhood though.

I love all the nutty teas, so rich and satisfying. A true winner.

★★★★★

A great substitute for hazelnut coffee without so much of the caffeine kick.

One of my favorite teas. Hard to find locally in my area. I love the flavor of hazelnut tea.

★★★★★

This one is delicious! I'm a big fan of drinking British-style, with milk and a little bit of sweetener, and Hazelnut makes a for a really flavorful cup in the morning--rich and nutty.

★★★★★

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this tea. I have only tried it hot, with a little sugar and creamer. It had a nice balance of flavor that wasn’t too nutty, no too bitter.

★★★★★

my AM go to...got off the coffee train. much more mellow in AM

★★★★★

Nice hazelnut flavor. Smooth and decadent.
I use a splash of almond milk, would make a great latte.

I thought I was a black tea “purist” — then I tasted a sample of Hazelnut! Man! With a little cream and sugar it’s like “expensive coffee” tea and so good! I’ve ordered more!

The main experience here is the woody flavor and strong astringency of the base tea, which I find good though fairly unremarkable . On top of that is a mild but pleasant hazelnut aroma. For me, trying hazezlnut-flavored things is risky, since sometimes I like it but often the flavor is either too strong or too artificial and it gives me a 'sickly sweet' vibe; thankfully, this is one of the good hazelnut flavorings. Overall, this tea didn't blow my socks off, though I'll probably get it again at some point.

My favorite flavored tea from Adagio, smooth and delicious.

★★★★★

If you are a lover of classic black tea... YOU MUST TRY this!! Amazing taste without being overbearing. Subtle but tasteful nutty flavor. My roommates and I always make sure this tea is in stock in our home.

★★★★☆

Hazelnut isn’t my favorite flavor, but this was an enjoyable morning tea.

★★★★★

I think this is an excellent flavored tea for mornings - it’s nutty and strong, and the flavoring adds enough interest that I didn’t feel the need to add anything. I did add a little brown sugar to the end of my cup, per the suggestion; it was fun and gave the tea a very holiday-like feel. I do think I prefer it black, though!

★★★★★

I love hazelnut, and this tea is no exception. Excellent flavor.

★★★★★

I really enjoyed this. A nice blend and the black tea isn't too astringent or drying in this flavor.

★★★★★

The hazelnut flavor is very good in this. I think I like the honeybush (decaf) version better. This was very tasty with half n half!

I love the smell of this tea! I much rather prefer hazelnut in coffee but this tea does tea pretty good as replacement. It may be how I made it but I have a aftertaste of water, so from the communitea I give it 4 but I will purchase a sample tin to retry!

★★★★★

I personally, cannot even smell hazelnut without an unfavorable violent reaction. My husband loves it. I had him try this sample every time I get it. He loves it more than hazelnut coffee.

★★★☆☆

I've never been a huge fan of hazelnuts (I'm more an almond person) but I thought this was a smooth black tea. The hazelnut added a little sweetness to what can be a slightly bitter cup of black tea. I tried it once with a little bit of sugar and it helped but then I added a little bit of cream and it completely changed the cup of tea. I could see this pairing really well with a chocolate creamer! Not a bad start to the CommuniTEA (August box).

★★★★☆

I already knew I liked hazelnut coffee... but now I can confirm that I also enjoy hazelnut tea!

This tea is wonderful when brewed for 3 mins and with added sweetner and milk. So hearty and yummy.

★★★★★

I havent tried this tea by itself though it does smell like a hazelnut spread.

I use this tea to blend with others, I love the flavor profile it brings to the table. But I also love hazelnuts, and I love hazelnuts with anything sweet. This tea is an excellent one to blend your own at home.

Very good! The hazelnut isn’t overpowering, I feel like there could even be a bit more of it

While I dislike the smell of hazelnuts, the taste is pretty good. I drank this tea hot with cream and a bit of sugar.

★★★★★

This tea is a treat for hazelnut fans. Perfect  as a breakfast tea;  I steeped 3 minutes at 212 degrees and I myself made a tea latte with it this morning. It has a smooth, nutty, creamy hazelnut flavor. I could see this mixing well with other black tea flavors like chocolates or cream, but I liked it on its own today. I did add some milk & honey for my latte, and I saw a suggestion of brown sugar, which intrigues me. I will have to order more. A fine beginning to the CommuniTEA (August box).

Sweet, fragrant hazelnut, black tea, what's not to love? I steeped this tea for about 3 minutes at 200 F to minimize astringency, and added sweetener and a little cream to capitalize on the nutty added flavor. At the end of the day, I think I'd rather have this in something that isn't quite so dry, like honeybush, but I'm not going to turn it down, either!

Decent cuppa! I don’t mind hazelnuts at all, though I wouldn’t consider it among my top favorite flavors. This tea steeped really well at the recommended three minutes with a full body and pleasant hazelnut taste. Not overpowering, and enjoyable even for those on the fence about hazelnut.

I really enjoyed this tea! I love hazelnut and black tea, so this was good. I think that it could be amazing if mixed with Chocolate Truffle tea as a few people have mentioned.
I used a bit of brown sugar and milk, very good!

★★★☆☆

This a tea to a bit of brown sugar for sweetener not white.

★★★★☆

Tasty black tea, reminded me of the Oolong hazelnut, tastes great with some milk.

★★★★★

I adore this tea. Sweet, nutty, homey, full and rich. I see this as more of a wintery tea, but I'm not mad about drinking it hot while working on an August afternoon. The second brew brings out the teas sweeter notes. This brew gets bonus points for being the least dry ceylon I've ever had in my life. No idea how they managed that one, but if you normally don't like ceylon because of the dryness, give this tea a whirl.

Like all things hazelnut so this one is a win for me. I did add in some brown sugar and a bit of creamer and the flavor was heavenly.

Very nice as a breakfast tea! Great with brown sugar/sweetener and milk.

★★★★★

I love this tea and pretty much any tea blend made with it. If you ice it, it tastes like delicious iced latte. Yum! If you like this, I highly suggest pu erh hazel berry tea.

★★★★☆

I liked this, but it was a bit on the astringent side. While alright on its own, I think it would be very good blended with something chocolaty.

Was good, maybe a little astringent? I didn't finish it but I also added milk. I'd drink it again though. Good nut flavor.

★★★★★

I've never had Hazelnut tea until this morning. I have to say, it's a solid, great cup of tea. It's cozy, definitely something I would drink around fall or Christmas time, or any time for that matter. I bet it would be great paired with the Chocolate Truffle tea. So happy I got to try it.

It was ok. Not something I could drink daily. Seemed muddy. But the then I’m not a fan of hazelnuts.

All I tasted was if someone gave me burnt crumbs of ash and gave it the smell of black charred cookies
