This is a delicious tea by itself, but it is even better when you blend it with a black vanilla tea. It has a nice creamy flavor and lately I have been drinking this instead of my morning coffee with hazelnut creamer.

Good tea, although not as flavorful as what I had been expecting. I'm quite fond of hazelnut coffee. This would be a nice addition to a blend.

★★★★☆

A bit sweet for my taste, but a good replacement for coffee.

★★★★★

This is an amazing tea that I will definitely be getting again. I had mine steep for longer to bring out the flavor.

This is a very wonderful tea that quite exemplifies the taste of amazing tea.

I'm by no means an experienced tea connoisseur, but this stuff is good. The hazelnut really comes through, doesn't overpower and is really nice with the black tea. The taste is slightly fruity, I'm not sure if that's the hazelnut or the tea, but I like it! Smells sweeter than it tastes.

I take almost all of my teas with about 3/4 teaspoon of turbinado sugar and without milk or creamer (the exception being green teas).

I'm seriously impressed with the size and the packaging of these samples. They don't disappoint! They also come with clear steeping instructions, which is great if you have a variety of teas each with different requirements. :)

A dark, nutty scent with an almost coffee-like taste. Very delicious! It makes a good coffee substitute in the morning.

★★★★☆

I really like that the taste isn't extremely strong

★★☆☆☆

This tea has a really strong hazelnut flavor, which is good if that is exactly what you want. Its more hazelnut than any type of tea.

★★★☆☆

the smell of this one wasn't as good as some of the other teas I asked to sample, and the flavour leaves something to be desired. I may finish it but won't order it again.

★★★☆☆

This is a great tea to mix other flavors but doesn't seem to like being alone. Fell a little flat.

★★★★☆

Very good with cream and sugar, can be a little strong if you steep it too long

★★★★★

When I drink coffee (which is not very often- tea is my go to drink!), I go for hazelunt. This tea had enough hazelnut to satisfy the craving.

★★★★★

A personal favorite for blends, but fantastic on its own with a bit of milk and sugar. My only qualm is that it smells SO STRONG yet the taste is fairly mild.

★★★☆☆

could have been better-or it wasn't what I was expecting. not quite sure about it.

★★★★☆

The overall flavor is good, what you would expect from a black tea. The hazelnut flavor is very subtle but still enjoyable. I would prefer it to be slightly richer in flavor but its a good black tea. I probably wouldnt purchase this one again though.

★★★☆☆

Not as good as I was hoping or expecting. :( I usually love hazelnut flavored things.

★★★★☆

This tea isn't bad. I don't want to drink it on its own though. It would be good in a blend. I think with caramel and/or vanilla. But by itself it tastes a little bit overdone, if that makes sense. Like nuts that have been roasted for too long.

★★★★☆

This is the perfect morning tea for cold weather. The ceylon black tea balances the warm sleepiness of the hazelnut perfectly, and the natural sweetness precludes any idea of adding sugar.

I love this tea in the afternoon with a little sugar and cream. Very good taste!

I bought this tea for my sister and she absolutely loved it. She cited this makes an excellent replacement for coffee in the morning. I have to order more for her as a Christmas gift.

★★★★★

I love the smell of this and the taste as well. It is something that you have to be careful with, or it'll be too strong or too bitter. I like to mix it with vanilla, just a little bit, personally.

★★★★★

Hazelnut is my go to tea. Bad day? Hazelnut. Cold winter day? Curl up with a cozy scarf, pop in a MARVEL movie, and brew a cup of hazelnut tea. About the only time I won't resort to this tea is close to bedtime.

This tea has a rich, nutty aroma and taste. The aftertaste is amazing - a sensation that is soft but beckoning. It draws you back for more.

Sometimes I brew it at 180 degrees F for a litter longer, and other times I do the suggested 212. Brewing at the higher temp strengthens the taste and seems to boost the leaves to provide a sharper aftertaste. It is reminiscent of coffee but so much better.

I never add cream, sugar, or honey to this tea, as I find it perfect by itself. This is one tea that's creamy enough on its own.

More than anything, hazelnut tea provides a warm, safe feeling that calms the nerves.

There isn't much to say about this tea that everyone else hasn't already said. It's a smooth tea that's a wonderful blend of sweet and nutty. It smells amazing, and it does have a very pleasant aftertaste. Also, it does blend well with other teas. Overall I'd buy again.

This tea reminds me more of coffee than tea. It has a stronger taste. It doesn't taste good without milk.

This tea was so nutty that it almost had a creamy flavor. I really recommend this tea to any nut lover!

★★★★★

Perfectly nutty and earthy in flavor, absolutely delicious hot with a little milk and sugar. This is an amazing fall/winter choice.

I love this tea by itself, and I love mixing this tea with black teas, oh my goodness. It can mellow out so many more flavors, and the warm, nutty flavor is just really comforting. Unlike the almond tea, it's not very sweet, but it doesn't leave that feeling on the back of your tongue like many other 'earthy' teas tend to.

★★★★★

I love this tea even though I don't usually like nuts. It's so warm and smooth, like bundling up with a blanket in the winter.

★★★★★

This is a slightly nutty coffee. I love hazelnut so I enjoyed this tea.

★★★★★

My favorite tea that I've had so far, period. It may be strong for some people, but it's just right for me, with a nice balance of sweetness and nutty warmth. Also goes well blended with everything (note my bias), and my roommates have to drag me away from my bag.

★★★★★

Pretty good tea, tastes like how I expected, not the cocoa/hazelnut crap everything thinks of when they see Hazelnut. Pretty nutty and very smooth, like it has a little butter in it, very much what I wanted. It is great by itself and fantastic with a little sweetener. Pretty hard to mess up, never over-brewed it myself.

★★★★☆

Very nutty and very smooth. Hazelnut I find is a bit sweeter than chestnut blends, but it goes well as an under note to tigers eye and chai blends I think! I don't really like it just by itself, but added with other flavors it really shines through and leaves a nutty after taste.

It tastes like hazelnuts. With some honey the bitterness is minimized, but there's a feety background on the flavor that I can deal with when combined (in blends/puerh and berries) but is not awesome by itself.

In the bag it smells strongly of hazelnuts, and it smells good. I brewed some and the smell almost 100 follows through, though it is a little weaker. It tastes great with a little milk and a little sugar.

We made two pots of this at breakfast and the house still smells like it and I might cry from happiness. The smell's pretty strong when you open the bag - it's not unpleasant, but it's a bit of a punch in the nose if you're not expecting it. It's a mostly smoky smell that mellows out into a soft nutty one when you steep it. The taste is a bit marzipan, a bit coffee, and all around very warm and nice.

Very nutty, Great with milk. Doesn't need that much sugar.

received as a gift, and while not a huge fan of hazelnut in general, I actually really love this tea!

Warm and creamy. Tastes great with milk and cream.

★★★★★

Lovely hazelnut smell. A little on the sweeter side. I drank it on its own, but it might be better with a little bit of milk.

★★★★☆

This was a decent black tea, the hazelnut is a 6 out of 10 for how bold it is. I prefer to drink this with a little honey or sugar.
Overall I would recommend just buying a plain ceylon and try to flavor it yourself or mix with a hazelnut coffee.

★★★★☆

Ok, so I was expecting for this to taste like nutella or hazelnut coffee creamer, and while it did not, it was still good. Better with sugar, though (of course, I have a sweet tooth so sugar is always better). I cant wait to mix this with some chocolate or creme tea.

Love hazelnut! Mix it with a bit of cream tea and a touch of sugar and it's absolutely perfect for an evening tea.

★★★★★

The hazelnut is very prominent in this tea which I love. I frequently use this to blend with other teas like caramel, cream, or almond oolong. If you want your nut flavor to be a little more subtle, I recommend chestnut instead.

While this tea doesn't seem to emit much of a hazelnut flavour, it's well rounded taste between the nutty, smooth flavour from the hazelnut and the pop of the ceylon makes this one of my favorites. It makes it hard to believe I ever liked hazelnut coffee.

★★★★★

The flavor was subtle and earthy- nothing that would overpower your senses, but enough present to make you think of the feeling of digging bare toes into soft soil and the comforting scent of roasted nuts.

This is much better in a blend than as a stand alone tea. The flavor is slightly artificial and does not have too much depth to it. That being said, it's wonderful when paired with other teas.

Great to mix with other teas for a nice sweet addition!

I bought this tea because I love the chestnut so I thought I might enjoy hazelnut as well. It's not quite as good as chestnut but it is a very nice tea. I like it with a bit of splenda and a splash of milk.

★★★★★

Super yummy! It reminds me a lot of the chestnut tea actually. They both taste like 'home' to me when I add some milk. Perfect on these cool fall mornings as well. If you liked the chestnut tea, you'll dig this one too
