While I could taste the hazelnut there was a strange bitterness I couldn't quite get over. It could just be me as I'll be trying it again to see, but not a cup for me. Maybe more for others.

I'm not a huge fan of hazelnut flavored tea now that I've tried it but I'm glad I gave it a go anyway. It does have a much more 'coffee like' flavor mixed with hazelnut so if that's what you're after you'll probably be pleased. It's also worth noting that I DID like the tea a little better when I used the recommended brown sugar instead of white sugar.
I loved this tea and wished I had order a much larger quantity. It makes a wonderful breakfast tea, just add a little sugar and it's amazing. Also, smells fantastic!
It tastes just like I'm eating a lovely hazelnut. It's great with some almond milk and works fine without sweetener, although I suspect the sweetener would make it even better. The smell is fantastic!
I bought the sample because I love hazelnut. It was fine, but the hazelnut flavor is very very strong and overpowering. I make it weaker than I normally make tea and add milk.
Very impressed! This tea was smooth with a very natural hazelnut flavor. Added in some of my Toasted Mate sample and I think I've found the best tea version of coffee. Steep it strong and drink it sweetened, you won't be sorry!
Nice warm, full bodied cup. Not overly nutty. I can imagine mixing this with a chocolate would taste just like nutella. Delicious.
Tastes great, a very autumn taste. I mixed it with cream tea, which really complemented the flavor. The mixture tasted similar to hazelnut coffee, except not bitter.
I have tasted the hazelnut before thru a friend who had ordered. so, I ordered some a few months later. Oh, boy, something bad happened between times. NOT the same tea! I had to throw it out! Happily, the customer service rep assured me they would be making up a new batch soon, so perhaps I will try again.

This tea is a little less nutty and more sweet, though I personally think a small bit of honey really makes it. A nice simple tea with a good hazelnut flavor I feel it would shine more when added to other teas rather than drunk on its own

I'm not usually one for flavored teas, but I thought the nuttiness of the hazelnut might pair well with black tea. I was right - this is great. I bought a pound of this to drink (along with Earl Grey) every day as my boyfriend and I hike the Appalachian Trail. This is a great tea to curl up by a fire with.
By itself this is a very strong tea which I wouldn't recommend. The hazelnut comes through more in the scent and aftertaste, and when they say it tastes 'roasty' they're not kidding. It was too much even for my significant other who likes smoky things.
However for blending, it's excellent. Cut into Valentine's Tea or a chocolate tea, it enhances both taste and smell.
I don't drink coffee anymore, but sometimes I get a craving for it. This tea actually satisfies my craving for coffee. I take it with a little almond milk, and it makes my morning perfect.
By far my favorite tea so far, can't seem to get enough of it!
I honestly didn't like this much. It does taste like hazelnuts. And I do like hazelnut. So I'm not sure what the problem is.. I mixed it with some other flavors but I have a hard time using up what I have, now.

Hazelnut is a great 'wake me up in the morning' tea. The nutty flavor from the hazelnuts works well with a Ceylon tea. Oversteeping results in some really astringent flavors, though, so use caution.
It's good to try new tea. Interested in hazelnut as it has a sweet nutty taste to it. Was recommended chestnut as well, got both nutty flavor today!
This is a well done blend. It has a light hazelnut flavor that isn't overwhelming or artificial tasting. It even held up well when I accidentally oversteeped one of the cups.
I am undecided about this tea. Yesterday, I would have said hands down my favorite, great, can't get enough. That was when I was drinking from the wonderful toasted Frangelico like flavored sample pack I adored. Today, I opened the new 3oz bag, and it was like a totally different tea. It smelled like I had just opened a Rocher candy. Not only did it smell of raw hazelnuts, it tasted like them too. Sooo... I have asked Adagio which it is supposed to be. If it's Frangelico, the review ups to great. Raw hazelnuts...it drops to ok. I'll update when I find out...update: Apparently they changed suppliers for this tea. They plan to go back to the previous supplier. Yay!
I was expecting it to be a bit better than what I tasted. Plus, it does not do well to be re-steeped.
I prefer mixing this with other teas rather than having it solo, but the flavor is very clearly hazelnut and makes a great snacking tea.
This tea is weird. Smells weird and tastes weird too.
Hazelnut is one of my favorite flavors. Delicious with a bit of cream and sugar.
I'll confess that I was not a fan of the aroma of the tea in the bag, but that changed when I brewed it (though I'm still not sure if peanut butter is a smell I'd go for). The taste was unremarkable, though. it was very smooth, but not very nutty. I think I'll be ordering chestnut over this tea, but it may still be good for blends.
A wonderful tea for a cold evening. I might like the hazelnut to stand out a little more but it is very good.
I am currently sipping on this one right now...mmmm, so good for a cold winter's morning. The nutty flavor is strong but not overpowering, very comforting and inviting. I sweetened mine just a bit but if you don't have a sweet tooth (I do) this tea would be great as a stand-alone cup as well. I will be ordering more SOON.
I like Hazelnut flavored creamer for my coffee, but this flavored tea did not work for me at all. Try a sample size before bying quantity.
This tea is really wonderful. The hazelnut smells great and is this really subtle flavor that's perfect with cream.
Meh. It was alright, but nothing special. It tasted nutty, like I expected. I don't know why it didn't blow me away, but it didn't. Perhaps nutty black teas aren't my thing. I'll be mixing this with other teas and not likely to buy it again.
My mother bought this for herself when she was getting gifts for x-mas. She says she hasn't decided if she likes it or not (typical). I will update this review as soon as I get a chance to try it.
Warm, toasty, and nutty, perfect tea to try and deal with that whole winter thing out there.
this was so weird to me at first, but if you can get around the fact that it isn't coffee, it is actually quite good. not like anything i've had before.

Absolutely perfect!~ I've never had a hazelnut tea before, and I was NOT disappointed! It's slightly sweet, quite rich, and perfectly nutty. The hazelnut flavor is almost more of an aftertaste (I mean this in the best possible way)- it's subtle, and doesn't hit you full-force on the first sip. Not only does it taste great, it smells wonderful as well. 10/10, good afternoon tea.
It's a nice and warm tea that my grandfather and I enjoyed together. It's best served without any sweetener.
I absolutely love this tea but I don't so much like it on it's own. It's a FANTASTIC and almost necessary accent tea to almost any fruity flavor.
This is my coffee. No joke. especially with cream and sugar. This stuff is definitely the tea that my best friend and I rant and rave over constantly--seriously, people. It's that good. Have a cuppa! :)

I'm transitioning from drinking coffee to tea so I figured hazelnut might be a good choice. This didn't taste bad but it's not a flavor that I enjoyed. I plan on giving this to a friend who really likes the flavor of hazelnut.

This is very tasty, and has a very bold nutty flavor. It is one of the few non-chai teas that I prefer with milk, to give the nuttiness a bit of creaminess as well. It isn't one of my favorites, but I will enjoy what I have of it.
