I save this flavor for when I need a strong pick-me-up. I've tried hazelnut in coffee, and I wasn't impressed. In tea, though, it is more controlled and yet energetic.
Ceylon tea with cozy, creamy hazelnuts. Aromatic, slightly roasted with a rounded, sweet flavor and toasty dryness.

This tea was very nice in aroma but not great on flavor
Fantastic flavor--husband's favorite and he is not that discriminating. He won't remember the name of the tea, but he will ask 'for that one you made me on Tuesday.' That was this one!
Holy COW. This is probably my favorite of the 'flavor' teas that I've tried from Adagio (though tied with the candy apple). It's this wonderful, sweet, nutty taste that lingers even after you're done drinking, and it's smooth and almost buttery. I see people saying that there wasn't enough taste, and I'm not sure why, because all I could really taste was the hazelnut. Might have something to do with steeping time. Anyway, if you're a nut tea fan, please try this.
even though I love hazelnut coffee, the tea is good, but not great. I think having tried this and the almond, that I don't really like 'nuts' and tea.
This is a wonderful dessert tea, in my humble opinion.
I was very disappointed with this tea. I felt that the hazelnut flavor should have been stronger, and more balanced.
Not a strong flavor, but it does have a nice hazelnut taste.
I am a hazelnut fan but this really didnt do it for me. It had a great aroma but no real flavor. Maybe I didnt steep it long enough. It was still good, but not great.
I like the hazelnut, but not as much as I like the honeybush hazelnut
The Hazelnut is nice, but I think I prefer the chestnut flavor better.
One of my favorites, upfront flavor, great finish.
Love this! It tastes a bit punchier than the chestnut, but the two have become my mainstays.
The thing that grasped me about this tea is the smell. It's a very strong hazelnut smell, but the flavor doesn't match the potency of the tea. Even though this is a sample, I can tell it's a tea that will be repurchases.
This is a great tea! I love the nutty flavor! I highly enjoy having a cup in the morning.
Seriously, this stuff is like crack. I ordered a sample a couple weeks ago, and just ordered a pouch. Perfect blend!
nutty nutty nutty - I love hazelnuts and blending this with cream
Love it. It is just as good as every tea Adagio has!Love them all!
This tea tasted like old fish. I couldn't get past the second sip.
Very light flavor, but a great breakfast or after dinner tea. Best with milk and sugar to bring out the nutty flavor.
This is nice light tea, more nutty in the aroma than the flavor. I like that the nuttiness isn't overpowering, but I would like a slightly more robust tea flavor.
Smells fantastic, though it doesn't taste strongly of hazelnut but is still good, especially with milk and sugar.
I found I could add this to any other tea for a great blend. Everything goes with hazelnut for me.
This one was just ok but that may be partly my fault, I'm new at being a tea drinker and although I love the hazelnut flavor in coffee it just didn't have the same effect in tea. I think I've learned now that I enjoy the fruitier flavored in a black tea but that is only my personal preference.
This one packs a flavor wallop! A little goes a long way. Smells a bit odd in the bag, maybe I just don't know what hazelnuts smell like? Definitely nutty, a really great accent to mixes. Ok to drink on it's own but is a bit strong for me.
The smell of this tea really reminded me of tea my grandmother would make just with a little more flavor. This could very well be a coffee replacement for me.
What should I have expected from a 'nut' flavored black tea!
Very strong taste. Start with 1/2 to 3/4 tsp per cup.
This tea is fine on its own, but for heaven's sake don't try to blend with it. Even half a teaspoon in four cup's worth of tea overpowers whatever else I try to put into it.
Really smooth and rich tea. Just the right amount of nuttiness, definitely not overpowering. Make sure you follow the steeping directions though!
You could smell this one throughout the room. Very nice and distinct flavor. Great change from the same black tea every morning.
Since I have enjoyed the Chestnut tea so much, thought I would give the other 'nut' teas a try and enjoyed this one very much.
Good hazelnut flavor, very bold. Great with milk, and if done carefully, by itself.
Amazing hazelnut flavor! Wish it came in a decaf version.
One of my favorite flavored black teas that could almost pass as coffee! It smells like coffee, but doesn't have that horrible bitter taste- it has the great taste of good tea! It's one of my most frequently purchased teas.
I used to get a hazelnut chocolate black tea that I really loved from another tea company. I can't get it now without paying a high price plus ridiculous shipping cost, so I gave this tea a try. It's very good, close to what I was getting before, and much less expensive. Ordering a larger bag this time.
As with the other flavored teas from adagio, the base black tea is good, but once again the added flavor, here hazelnut, is not strong enough. The hazelnut here is especially weak, I thought, both in aroma and flavor, compared to other adagio flavored teas.
This is the best hazelnut tea I have had. Very nutty flavor.
I really enjoyed this tea. It's a great alternative to a cup of coffee.
I really love this tea. It's a really nice tea to have in the morning and the hazelnut flavor is warm and toasty first thing in the morning.
I don't know what I'm getting from this tea but it's definitely not hazelnut. Burnt tires maybe?
Little strong but tastes like hazelnut and reminds me of either coffee or if i eat some chocolate with it, like nutella.
This tea tastes like a yummy blend of winter! The hazelnut flavor mixes wonderfully with the black tea making this one one of my favorites!
Makes everything taste 10x better! I'm so glad I picked this as a sample last week!
I was most eager to try this one out of the six teas I ordered for myself. It had a wonderful smell and taste. I usually like my teas with a little milk or cream, but this was good by itself. The smell alone seems to have been enough to ease a skeptical friend into trying some non-Starbucks teas. Definitely getting more soon!
I don't like this quite as much as the vanilla- or chestnut-flavored teas, but it's definitely in the same category. It's nice to have on hand for when I want something a little different but not *very* different.
Yum. This one is very flavorful and delicious, with a great, strong aroma. I sometimes find hazelnut drinks too nutty, but this one was just right
I really do not get much of a hazelnut flavor out of this.
Rich, warm, smooth taste. This has become a real favorite!
Subtle and good with added sugar but also good on it's own.
