This tea is nice. The grapefruit comes through well and is refreshing. I just prefer my black teas without citrusy flavors.
Dry aroma is all grapefruit. Once brewed the black tea picks up. Overall I didn’t enjoy this. Left me thinking “so that’s what cooked grapefruit taste like”. Good to know but not a repeatable experience.

I had great expectations for this tea after opening the bag and smelling the wonderful aroma. Unfortunately, it did not brew up well. It tastes like a bitter orange rind, and leaves behind a intense 'dry' feeling on the tongue.
An extra bitter black tea! I like grapefruit for its bright citrus flavor either refreshing acridity. This tea gets some of the smell and all the flavor of the pith.
When I smelled this tea, I was so excited. It reminded me of one of my favorite Teavana teas: Strawberry Grapefruit Xue Long Flavored Green Tea. After I brewed it, thought it was a bit strong and didn’t deliver on the wonderful grapefruit flavor that I smelled. (212 degrees / 3 min.)
This grapefruit tea has a very mild grapefruit flavor, as other reviews have noted. The aftertaste, however, is aromatic and is actually stronger than the original flavor - which I find oddly refreshing. I did not find it to be bitter in any way.

The grapefruit rolls over the back of your mouth in a refreshing wave. A hot cup feels cooling in this 80 degrees at 8 am weather.

I love this tea! The grapefruit really shines, and it isn't a fake taste. It smells wonderful when you open the bag, and while the taste is more subtle than the smell, it is still very grapefruit forward. I do like the grapefruit oolong slightly better, but this black tea version is also delightful.
Tastes great, but I feel it needs more grapefruit flavor. I'll definitely continue drinking it though.

This is honestly one of the best teas I’ve ever had. Simple, flavorful, refreshing it’s going to ruin plain black teas for me because it’s that good. Mild enough flavor that after a long time drinking you almost forget it’s a “flavored” tea but just so delicious. I see a lot more of this in my future.
This is a nice citrus tea with a bitter note. It is too weak in the bags but I will buy it again loose.

Love this tea! Does not really have a 'grapefruit' taste but has a pleasant crisp, slightly sweet flavor. This used to be one of my favorites but I have since discovered Grapefruit Oolong which, I think, has a bit of a smoother taste. Though I still find this quite enjoyable and have used it to make iced tea.
Not terrible, but the grapefruit flavor isn t as strong as I d like.
For a tea I would deem a mixer, this is surprisingly satisfying to drink. Out of the bag, it smells like grapefruit, which got me a little excited as I love me some grapefruit. After brewing the at the recommended time and temperatures, I noticed the tea has an herbaceous note to it, both in smell and flavor. I just don't know if I prefer it with sugar or not.

I was worried this would taste like a generic citrus flavored tea instead of having a distinct grapefruit flavor, as some citrus teas do, but I was pleased to taste grapefruit! I think this would probably make a nice iced tea in the summer.

Thought to give it a try to get free delivery AND I love grapefruit. What a wonderful evperien. Opening the bag the aroma was a treat. Taking it with a dash of milk and a teaspoon of sugari had one of those ahhh moments.
This is my favorite black tea from Adagio! Very flavorful and packs a nice, gentle zing in the morning. I don't even like eating grapefruit, but enjoy this tea.
The flavor was good but it was too much black tea for my taste.
