Very yummy, but grapefruit is stronger in smell than taste. Would have liked it a little fruitier.

The grapefruit is really pronounced in the aroma, but very faint in the flavor. I felt like I needed to add a little grapefruit juice to get the full effect.

Like drinking a grapefruit, nice but not too bitter flavor with a dot of honey in the mug. Also pretty good brewed extra strong over ice. Can be tannic enough to over-power the fruitiness if brewed too long.
I created quite a delicious iced tea out of this flavored black. Perfect cool down after a tennis match! Brew it heavy, ice it down and drift off to the magical land of iced grapefruit paradise!!!

I love this refreshing tea. I'm not usually a fan of citrus teas, but this one doesn't have the sharp taste that some of them do. I prefer it in the morning when I need a lift.
I actually really enjoyed this tea! It has a very light grapefruit flavor, but if you add a bit of sugar it has the same sweetness and as a real grapefruit, and brings out the flavor.
I loved this tea! I am a huge fan of grapefruit. I found the flavor to be wonderfully fruitful. I am one to eat my grapefruit with ground pepper , so I wished the tea had a bit of spice to it. But besides that odd taste of mine, it was wonderful.
Amazing smell but I wish it just had more of that grapefruit taste! I really liked this mixed with some of the herbal and white teas.
Mixed with Honeybush has a smooth taste, great both hot and cold

The grapefruit flavor is not terribly strong, but I like it as a light breakfast tea.
Great taste to it but it is light, not strong. Use more for a stronger taste. I added just a dash of Sun Crystals, adds just a little sweetness to it. I would get again!!
This tea smells great, and the flavor is good, too, but I'm not wowed. It's still a decent tea, though, and I have nothing negative to say about it.

When I saw the picture on the website, it was not what you get. In all other cases it's been fine with Adagio. But the grapefruit like the other negative reviews I see are right...you can't taste any grapefruit period. And there were maybe 2 chunks at the most in my tin, the rest was just plain black tea.
I do not recommend this one...spend money on better teas such as Mango, Forest Berry, etc.
I was really disappointed with this one and typically that's not the case with Adagio teas. This is one exception.
This tea smelled better than it tasted; the black tea taste overpowered the grapefruit. It wasn't bad when blended with the blood orange, and when I mixed it with blood orange and vanilla chai, the grapefruit taste was enhanced.
The smell of this tea is pretty inviting, albeit a little overpowering. I agree with the other reviews, though, that are a little dissapointed with the actual flavor.
This is one of those adagio flavors that makes me want to rub it behind my ears and wear as perfume. It smells wonderful, obvisouly, and it tastes pretty darned good.
I loved it, it is a nice tea to wake up to! The zing of the grapefruit energises me. My 8 year old loves it too!

The grapefruit tea is pretty good. The aroma is awesome and it brews so well, but it seems like the flavor lacks a bit. Could be more grape-fruity.

Great for iced. I blended it with Blood Orange and Fruit Medley. I don't like it hot.
It is definitely grapefruit scented and it is a little tangy in the cup. I'm not sure if I'll order a larger sample. The trial seems to be holding me pretty good for when I want a little zing in my cup.
This tea is ok, the grapefruit flavor is to subtle and it is also picky, easily oversteeped. I found 2-3 minutes to work best.

Nice citrus flavor; refreshing. A little too 'lemon-y' for me but great for my parents. They take it with a little sugar after dinner.

Excellent stuff- I couldn't really imagine what this tea would be like, and worried that it might be a bit too tart, but no problems. The tea has a strong pink grapefruit flavor- very bracing in the morning.
