Mmmm, smells great and tastes pretty good too. A little more tart than the Lemon, but still refreshing

This tea is just not for me. I typically love the bitterness of grapefruit, but this was far too bitter for my taste, even with sweetener. Also, it seemed to be more of a generic citrus flavor - it would have been much better if it had really captured the flavor and smell of grapefruit, but it didn't. Oh well - just not the tea for me!
Citrusy though not tasting obviously of grapefruit. I could only just make out the sharp citrus notes in the taste though it was strong in the smell.

Strong black tea with nice citrus notes. I was worried about it being too sour, but was very pleased with this.
I am a grapefruit freak. So I thought I'd love this tea. What I loved about it is the smell. It is deliciously citrusy when iced. Unfortunetly I tasted mainly citrus rather then pure grapfruit flavor. My friend can't stand the taste of grapfruit yet she enjoyed this tea iced and agreed it is not grapefruity at all.
I'm not the biggest fan of flavored teas, but this one was good hot and cold. The flowery pop is nice, but the citrus rounds it out well. Not bad without sweetener (how I usually drink my black teas), but this one could probably use just a touch.
This tea smells better than it tastes. Neither my husband or myself could taste the grapefruit in it. My husband was very disappointed as he loves grapefruit.
The first couple times I brewed this, I put too much tea in the pot to brew, because I was trying to make the grapefruit flavor stronger. Instead I just made the tea bitter. So finally, on the third try, I followed the given advise, one teaspoon, 3 minutes, at 212, and it came out quite nicely. It isn't my favorite, but I could taste the grapefruit tones better than when I tried piling tea in, and it had none of the bitterness. It's smooth, and lite, I enjoyed it, but because I like stronger flavors in my fruit teas, I don't think I'll be ordering this again.
All I can say is 'Wow'. Very tasty and perfect for this grapefruit fan.
This tea smells phenomenal. Crisp grapefruit! (My boyfriend on the other hand likened it to the smell of Life Savers-- in a good way).
Brewing and tasting, the grapefruit backs off slightly and becomes much more balanced with the actual black tea. The grapefruit flavor is not at all overwhelming or sour. This strikes a good balance between the fruit and the tea. It is a rather intriguing combination, but I like it.
This tea has a fairly unpleasant smell. The grapefruit is incredibly strong. However, once brewed it is milder. Far more tasty than the smell would have you believe.
This is good tea. All of Adagio's flavored Ceylons are of great quality for $5 and this is no exception. Have not tried it iced yet, but hot with a touch of milk and sugar is actually very nice.

The grapefruit taste is a bit overwhelming to me, and I'm a big fan of grapefruit. I don't drink black tea too often so I changed my first impression from just okay to good because I finished my whole packet trying to really get a feel for this tea, but it wasn't anything special to me. Maybe I'm just not a fan of the black teas being so partial to the greens, but it was definitely fresh, made well, and very upfront.
This one takes a little getting used to. The smell of the dry tea isn't great, but once you steep it and add a bit of honey, the flavor is quite nice. Another good bitter tea.

i feel like this tea would be delicious iced! it's getting warmer out, i'll have to try it that way. very tart and crisp, great if you love something a little sour. the smell is heavenly!

I love this black tea. Its wonderful hot but I prefer it cold.
It smells like the perfect ripe grapefruit, and it is absolutely heavenly in the bag. In the cup however, the grapefruit wasn't as strong as I would have liked. Still, the black tea in the background is a solid enough backup, and it's a tea that's worth a try. It's a tea best suited for mid-morning: not too bold, but not too bland either. The subtle grapefruit (too subtle!) is an interesting enough kick to keep you going.
I loved how this tea smelled, but the taste was lacking. I've never seen grapefruit tea before, so I might buy this again if I can't find a better one.
I just received my ingenuiTEA with fruit black teas today and the grapefruit is the first one I tried. I love it! Can't wait to try it iced also! Love the ingenuiTEA too!
Even with sweetener, this is still to tangy for my tastebuds.

Simple great. I received this tea originally as a sample for Christmas and quickly ordered a full pouch. Both smells and tastes like a fresh grapefruit. Not overpowering but still the flavor is there. Makes for a perfect cup of tea in the morning. If you like some of the peach, or mango you'll most likely enjoy this one as well. The only downside to this tea is that I found it does NOT make for a good iced tea. Oh well nothings perfect right. I highly recommend this tea as I have already added it to my regular shipments.

I really enjoy this tea with a small amount of honey. I haven't yet tried it chilled, but I do believe it would be especially delicious.
The black tea overpowers the grapefruit. If you add a tiny bit of honey to it after you brew it, it helps to bring out a bit of the flavor.
I wasn't sure what to expect of this one. It's fresh, it's easy to drink. I mixed it up a little with lemon soleil and I think it's one of my new favorite mixes.
Opening the package you get a wonderful aroma of grapefruit. It makes a surprisingly tastey hot cup of tea. I'm not used to flavored teas, but this one was pretty good.

Makes a very nice light fruit beverage. I did try it doctored up with Blood Orange to make a tea popsicle and I highly recommend it.
I love this tea iced! The grapefruit flavor is subtle and I am one NOT to put lemon in my iced tea. I received a sample of this tea and on a whim I made a pitcher of iced tea! Glad I did!

I usually don't like fruit teas but I make an exception for the Grapefruit tea. It has a pleasant taste of grapefruit without being overwhelming or bitter. Definitely one of my favorite teas.
The tangy aroma of grapefruit emanates from each cup of this flavorful tea. However, for a perfect cup of tea, it should not only smell of grapefruit but should be even more full of the fresh taste of grapefruit. I will continue to order this tea, but hope that Adagio will add more fruit in the future.
