It's got a bit of zip, but it's aped by the astringent black tea.

Very mild, ginger flavor comes through at the end of your sip, barely.

This is a fabulous winter / holiday tea. During other seaons, I like to add it to Assam.

Fell in love with this one from a Christmas gift and just had to buy more! So sweet and delicious!

Bought this on a whim... so happy that I did. Delicious... like a cookie! Highly recommend!

The Rooibos Nutcracker tea edges this one out for which one I'd buy again, since they have a similar flavor profile, but it's a good flavored tea if you want something to make you feel cozy.

Another flavor that was part of the Advent Calendar collection. Often times, flavored teas can taste artificial. This is not the case with this one or any of the others I've tried. Again, the tea can be thought of as a dessert tea or certainly one to warm the soul on a cold winter's day.

A decent tea but not my favorite flavor. Definitely many better ones out there

It's just ok to me. Take or leave it in my opinion.

Taste is good, as long as you take your cup with milk and sugar. Spices are a bit faint, but they're well balanced. I deducted a star for the tea pyramid bags, I lost several cups to the bags coming open while brewing. If you get the bags, be sure to brew in a tea infuser.

This is a nice, warming tea. It doesn't have the sharpness of a regular ginger tea, but that's not really a bad thing. Goes great with molasses cookies.

Great holiday choice, cozy like a hot chocolate after sledding as a kids. Pairs well with Christmas cookies and the perfect tea for decorating your Christmas tree.

Great seasonal and subtle spiced tea. Will order again. Similar to the Chestnut tea, but more spices

It tastes just like drinking a cookie :) I add cream and a touch of sugar. Nice, warm, comforting drink during the colder months.

Good strong brew with an earthy quality and a mild ginger flavor

Too mild to tell that its gingerbread tea. Not for me.

I really enjoy this tea during the holiday season. I like this and the Christmas blend during this time. Great flavor and aroma!

I love gingerbread tea, and this one is great black or with a touch of cream. It is definitely a strong tea.

I don't dislike this tea, but if you didn't tell me it was gingerbread flavor I wouldn't know it. I'm getting a little ginger but mild, and I'm getting the black tea and orange. Could do with a touch more cinnamon. I'll finish the sample bag because it is good. It's like Constant Comment with ginger and a little less orange, add a teensy bit of brown sugar.

Very delicious! This tea was exactly what I was looking for. Reminds me of Teavana's gingerbread tea.

Very disappointing--weak flavor, didn't taste gingery at all. Did I get a bad batch? I can't understand why the creators of this tea would think to call this 'gingerbread.'

It's definitely a nice black tea, but is lacking the spiciness of gingerbre.

This tea is pretty good. it has the cinnamon flavor I would come to expect but it is pretty subtle ( I personally wish it was stronger). i don't really taste the ginger either which is a big part of 'gingerbread'. Its good but I feel like it veers a bit from the name. Still a good tea though.

I got a sample of this and had to buy another bag. It has a really nice flavor and I love the rich cookie like flavor. Just like gingerbread, sweet, but also savory.

I love this tea so much! It's a perfect fall/winter tea and tastes delicious. I like it sweetened with a dash of creamer. I could drink this all day!

This flavored tea is very light in flavor and the gingerbread can be easy to miss. The black tea is not overpowering or too strong but definitely present while there's a warming mild ginger flavor that is accompanied by a sweet bread/cookie type ending flavor. The first few times I tried this I completely missed the gingerbread flavor and now that I've thoughtfully drank more of it I finally got the gingerbread flavor I was looking for, it is still very light but in a pleasant way.

If you like gingerbread it reminds me of a cookie--add a little cream. Get ready for the holidays by adding this tea.

Not bad but in all honesty, it tastes like every other black tea with cinnamon added. Adding cream or sugar doesn’t impart any difference. However, when blended with the Autumn Mist Green tea a true gingerbread flavor shines.

My husband and I really love this gingerbread tea, both hot or cold. Have been enjoying all summer long as ice tea. Nice cup of hot in the cold winter days also. For Iced tea, I use a large tea ball/10 minutes. And a teaspoon for a cup of hot/ 3-5 minutes. Fantastic!!!

The smell of this tea is wonderful, really smell like gingerbread cooking. Warm taste

I was hoping it would be similar to the Jolly gingerbread but it’s not even close. I’ve been mixing it with the almond black tea to try and recreate but it has been a failed experiment

As with all of the Adagio teas, the flavor is subtle. Hint of gingerbread would be more fitting. But the flavor is nice.

Definitely one of my favorites. In fact, just made a huge pot to enjoy. I do tend to make this more in the winter months but I love this tea.

OMG, I absolutely LOVE this tea, I can drink it any time of year, not just during the Fall traditional gingerbread season.

I was happy with this one. The scent made me think of the holidays and making cookies. The tea wasn't too strongly scented, but it had an almost molasses-like aroma to it that made me think of my grandmother, which put a smile on my face. Definitely should be sweetened before drinking, but all around, a pretty good tea.

Oversweetening this was the worst mistake of my life. But this is an amazing smelling tea, and an amazing tasting one if you can find the perfect balance of sweetener to tea ratio.
