★★★★☆

this tea was pretty good! i paired it with toast and jam and it hit my spot! i was pleasantly surprised. next time i will add milk/sugar to see if it can taste even better!

★★★☆☆

Not a bad tea, very drinkable, sort of sweet, the scent is subtle. All black teas from adagio are pretty tasty, but this isn't very strong in gingerbread flavor. I personally am more excited about teas that are more ginger based like ginger chai, instead of the gingerbread flavor.

This a warming and yummy tea. Great on those cold gray days or for the holidays

★★★★★

Warm and soothing and great with a little cream and sugar. You can really taste the gingerbread flavor so this makes a wonderful dessert tea. Not so much a fan of this iced. This is a warm comfort blend.

★★★★☆

Very good with a little bit of milk and a lot of sugar. It doesn't come off as a classic gingerbread to me thou.

★★★★★

Tastes just like the cookies and reminds you of the holidays! Great with cream!

★★★★★

My boyfriend grabbed a teabag of this when he bought my ingenuiTEA, and it was so good that I had to buy more! It tastes just like a gingerbread cookie :)

★★★★★

Perfect for the holidays and definitely festive. Very impressed.

★★★☆☆

I wish the gingerbread flavor was a bit stronger! This tea is yummy but could use just a bit more kick.

★★★★☆

This is a great fall/holiday time tea... but delicious any time!

★★★☆☆

It didn't really taste too much like gingerbread to me. I added vanilla, milk, and a few more spices.

★★★★☆

This tea is good with milk and sugar added, then I find it to taste like liquid cookies. I don't get gingerbread from it but it's still very tasty none the less.

★★☆☆☆

I didn't like this tea. The taste was too flat and yet too strong. I didn't get a real ginger taste, and it didn't taste like gingerbread, either.

★★★★☆

I was not so much into this tea but my boyfriend loved it. He says it's pleasant and soothing.

★★★★★

After sampling so many gingerbread teas (what can I say, I'm a sucker for holiday teas), including the Celestial Seasonings one (I know, I know), this is by far the best. It's spicy and comforting, and a perfect cup of tea for a winter's evening!

★★☆☆☆

This is not to my taste. It smells and tastes like a liquid version of cinnamon toast crunch cereal.

★★★☆☆

This doesn't have a strong gingerbread flavor but is still very good. Not sure if it's something I would buy again.

★★★☆☆

I'm not sure what I was expecting from this one. Maybe more of a sweet flavor? It doesn't make me think of gingerbread at all. It's not awful, just not what I wanted.

★★★★★

This tea is so yummy! And it smells so good, too! I found I need to brew it on the longer end of the recommended time range, for a full five minutes, to get the best flavor. I could drink it all day. Tastes super with some milk added, too.

★★☆☆☆

The name is what drew me to this flavor. But once I tasted it, I was not impressed it was very dry. it was like if I were drinking dirt.

★★★★★

Oh, how I LOVE this tea. It's sweet with a tiny bit of spice and really feels like a decadent treat. It's kind of a dessert tea, but perfect for early mornings or a little tea break in the afternoon. Not too sweet, not too spicy. Just a tea that tastes rich but also retains it's clear, tea flavor through the sweet and spicy flavors.

This tea smells like gingerbread- tastes like gingerbread but only easily. Its not heavy on the tongue. Its a beautiful morning tea. I will be having this one tomorrow morning before church. :)

★★★☆☆

I've made three cups of this tea and have played with the steeping time and the amount I put in, but no matter what I do, I can't get enough flavor out of this tea. It doesn't really taste 'gingerbread-y.' It's not bad, but certainly not what I was expecting.

★★★★☆

Light and fun tea, really. It's not over powering but definitely goes well with a shortbread or two. Perfect with milk!

★★★☆☆

Well, it definitely smelled like gingerbread, but the taste was weak, even after many minutes of steeping. I'll try adding nutmeg next time, and play around more with steep times. It was a pleasantly light tea, at least.

★★★★☆

This tea is pretty good, I just wish the gingerbread flavor was a bit stronger.

★★★★☆

At first I thought this tea was sort of crappy. I'm not sure if it was my stuffy nose, but I couldn't taste anything in it. It had to steep several minutes beyond the usual three minutes for adagio's flavored teas, and then, finally, there was flavor. It wasn't that spicey, and the cinnamon and ginger don't honestly come through that strong, but there is a distinct maple like taste that lingers at the end, and it is really pleasing.

★★★★★

Perhaps I'm just in the Christmas spirit, but the gingerbread tea is great for the holiday season!

★★★★★

This was a free sample offered to me, and I wasn't sure what I'd think of it. However it exceeded my expectations! It was warm and inviting. I was afraid it was be really sweet or something, but it tasted more like the gingery parts of the gingerbreadmen than the icing or sugar. It was a good tea to relax with.

★★★★☆

When I opened this tea my mom said it smelled like some of the flavored pipe tobaccos and I can kind of see where she was coming from, but I can also tell the gingerbread flavors. It's not overly spicy at all, but then either is gingerbread to be honest. All in all, a lovely holiday blend.

★★★☆☆

Tastes like what it is! I like tea. nom nom nom nom nom

★★★★☆

This tea is great! The only issue I have is that I wish the gingerbread taste was a tad bit stronger but I still really enjoyed it.

★★★★★

This tea was a hit at a tea party I had. It has more of a spice flavor than cookie flavor, but it is definitely worth trying. I hope it's not just for the season!

★★★★★

This tea is exactly what I hoped it would be. It smells and tastes exactly like gingerbread. I wasn't sure if I'd like it more than the pumpkin spice, but it blows that flavor away.

★☆☆☆☆

Don't do it, the ginger flavor is WAY too strong. It completely overpowers everything else about the tea. This experience can only be likened to drinking pot pourri, it's just not my favorite.

★★★☆☆

I received this as a freebie with my first purchase, and I was excited when it came. It smells warm and inviting when you open the bag, but it is not very flavorful in the cup. Perhaps I haven't let it brew long enough? However, about twenty minutes after I finished, I was left with a good aftertaste and a feeling like I'd eaten a cookie.

★★☆☆☆

I have to say, this is the first tea from Adagio I have sampled that I rated as 'bad'. The raw tea smells absolutely divine, but after being steeped, the it becomes very faint. I added Splenda to my cup, and found the tea itself has a pleasant sweet gingery flavor, but it is quickly overshadowed by the bitterness. I thought some cream might mellow the bitter flavor, but all it did was make a creamy disaster! The cream hid all pleasing flavors, so it tasted of slightly sweet, slightly bitter warm cream. Not pleasant at all. I ended up throwing my cup down the sink. Sadly, what smelled like freshly baked cookies tasted like a fresh pile of...well...NOT cookies. :(

★★★☆☆

Very light flavor. Tried more tea, and longer brewing, neither helped strengthen the gingerbread flavor.

★★★☆☆

It's not bad tasting, but I'm not sure if I'd say it's really 'gingerbread' flavored. Not quite as spiced as I would have liked, nor as flavorful.

★★★☆☆

Was not very impressed with this tea.. I was hoping for a genuine gingerbread taste but this tea lacks both the spiceness and the ginger as well as perhaps the body to tie everything together. It had a very muted taste, in my opinion. I will try experimenting with the tea amount, amount of milk, etc, but I doubt I will be purchasing again. This may be one to sample for those of you who prefer light teas.

This has a mellow spice cookie taste. The ginger--which is usually a deal-breaker--is not too sharp or bitter here, just nicely balanced out.

★★★☆☆

This was good, but I won't be ordering again. I felt I was left wanting a bit more flavor, and the taste was not something I'd write home about.

★★★★★

Smells exactly like a gingerbread cookie. Brews to something subtle and delicious and a great reminder of how much I like dunking cookies in tea.

★★★★★

Perfectly sweet and warm

★★★★★

Mmmmm, delicious! It smells absolutely tantalizing, and when brewed it's delectable. Cinnamon, ginger, it adds up to a great Christmas blend. I'll be saving this for cold, snowy afternoons.

★★★★☆

Another good dessert tea. It doesn't have that unpleasant ginger taste that fresh ginger has.

★★★★★

This is legitimately the best tea I've ever had (with milk and sugar). It tastes like Christmas!

★★★★★

The warm smell spells holiday. And the taste is warm

★★★★★

This is a great tea and I love the smell :) It wasn't too strong or too light.

★★★★★

Really, really good. Looking forward to drinking this on cold winter nights. Try mixing with vanilla...it's amazing.
