This is a very lightly flavoured tea. It tastes like a slightly sweet black tea but it doesn't have the slight spice I would expect from gingerbread.
Both Gingerbread men and women agree: this unique tea is the perfect addition to any house (gingerbread or regular).

This is a very lightly flavoured tea. It tastes like a slightly sweet black tea but it doesn't have the slight spice I would expect from gingerbread.
I had high hopes for this since I love gingerbread but the flavor really isn't there. I've tried letting it seep for longer times but it still never tastes quite as good as it smells from the bag.
YUM! This tea had a really nice, comforting flavor, and didn't overbrew (I forgot about it and left the infuser in for about 5 minutes...oops). Will definitely have again.
While I wasn't blown away by this one to start with, I had to change my mind later. Not a zingy ginger taste, but with sugar, a really nice tea. I really like this with Tiger Eye and Vanilla.
This was a great blend of tea for Christmas time. I loved it!
The gingerbread is absolutely perfect with a bit of milk and sugar. Certainly an excellent choice for my free sample.
pretty good. not the best ive tried but not the worst either
Although this tea does not taste like a gingerbread cookie, it is still delicious, especially after coming in from shoveling the snow!
Didn't really like this one, honestly. It's my first disappointment, and hopefully my last. My brother enjoyed it, though, so at least it won't go to waste.
It doesn't taste all that different from the pumpkin one IMO, but that's not such a bad thing since they both taste pretty awesome.
My absolute favorite holiday flavor. Blends really well with orange, if you're into that.
Not as gingerbready as I'd have liked but still nice and warm for winter!
As a lover of gingerbread, I have to say this tea really delivers!
I was afraid of this one. We've had terrible experiences with flavored teas in the past, but this is like the tea version of the smell of bourbon vanilla pipe tobacco. So warm and creamy. Didn't need a lot of sugar (I put cream and sugar into most of my black teas). No fake taste or aftertaste.
Ugh straight into the trash. I can't even begin describe why it's bad because it's all around the worst flavor combination. It's medicinal smelling and nauseating. I think it may be the orange peel that I cannot tolerate.
A nice spiced tea. I think what it's missing as a gingerbread-flavored tea is a molasses note. Tasty, but doesn't scream gingerbread.
This was a great tea. It had the tingly sensation of ginger and spices. I would recommend slightly sweetening it to bring out more of the spices and sweetness of the tea. Overall, warm and fun!
Great flavor, smells heavenly. This is a tea you want to drink to celebrate the holidays. I love giving this out at the holidays.
I'm not sure I'd call this gingerbread, necessarily, but it's still absolutely amazing, especially when mixed with some almond milk and a little agave nectar!
I was very disappointed in this. I love gingerbread but I don't taste it at all in this tea. It brews strong and a little bitter - I have tried it a few times and it is all right when mixed with something else but I don't care for it on its own at all.
I really enjoyed this tea during the holiday season-warm, with just a hint of spiciness. I might have to make it a year-round indulgence!
This is okay. I think it would be better if it was not a black tea. I find that it also has a weird smoky aftertaste that isn't for me.
Very festive and a decent tea. However, we like ouR ginger to be GINGER. The ginger bite wasn't quite strong enough.
A bit like chai. More gingery then anything else. I think i was missing the molasses...my brain was thinking gingerbread cookies!
This tea was really not what I was expecting. The smell in the bag isn't too strong, and the flavor even less so. I was really hoping for a flavor more reminiscent of the baked good that is its namesake, but alas the flavor is just lacking. It's not a bad tea, just not very flavorful, but I will not be reordering this one... Let's see if maybe it's good in some blends at least :/
complex flavors, very rich and fun. Everything is recognizable and yummy.
Bolder and stronger flavor. This is a very festive blend that is wonderful to have for the holidays
I absolutely love gingerbread, so I jumped at this tea. Definitely one of my favorites. It smelled amazing in the bag, and tasted absolutely delightful with a little milk and sugar.
I wasn't exactly sure what to expect from this tea when I ordered it. It has a nice flavor and is a good tea, but I don't know how much gingerbread I actually get from it.
Overall pretty good. Wasn't as strong as I thought, but I suppose it's nice that it was an overkill either. My boyfriend seemed to enjoy it a lot, and it's very good if you just want something a little different and for the hols spirit. Works really well in blends!
I picked this up as a free sample. It is just okay. Does not really remind me of gingerbread much - more of a weak chai or something like that. I wouldn't buy it but since it was free... well, I'll sip it down eventually :)
Brew this at double strength and you'll fair better. It needs a little more umph to it.
This was really tasty. I could taste the ginger bread. I drank it unsweetened but no dout cream or even vanilla or carmel sugar rocks would make this tea grea. It even has a latte potential.
This tea was just ok for me. I was hoping for a stronger flavor and it just wasn't there. I was a bit disappointed.
This tea is perfect, especially for the blizzard happening right now where I live! I love the taste and I will most likely repurchase every year.
Not as spicy as I had hoped, seems to be missing something.
I do like this tea, but I probably wont order more simply because I have another ginger bread organic tea from a different company that I prefer. This is quite good, a light flavor. Excellent for winter time.
Exactly what I'd expect! Add a little cream and it's like eating a gingerbread cookie with a glass of milk. :)
Not bad. It doesn't taste a lot like gingerbread, but it isn't a bad tea by any means.
Doesn't taste much like gingerbread to me. It's just okay.
This tasted like warm gingerbread right out of the oven. A little sweetener makes for the perfect winter cup. I shared this with my coworker who loved it. It would be even better with a hint of orange flavor.
I enjoyed this tea very much! To me, it tasted almost just like a gingerbread cookie. Perfect for Christmas!
not as good as I had hoped doesnt really remind me of gingerbread
I enjoy the flavor of this tea, however it's not as smooth as I'd like. Admittedly, I'm not a big fan of the base tea, so that's partially influencing my opinion. This also seems to have a slight chemical taste to it. In the future, I'll probably just order the spice pu erh instead, since it fills the same void for me.
The gingerbread flavor is very nice, I just wish it were a little stronger.
Smells great in the bag. Nice almost chai-like taste and very reminiscent of gingerbread.
It smells nice but it's not sweet, which is especially bad considering it's supposed to taste like a gingerbread cookie. I'm going to blend it with a cream sample I have to see if that makes it more palatable. Vanilla would do it a lot of good, too.
Im glad I got this as a free sample and didnt buy it myself. It wasnt terrible, it just wasnt good as I was hoping.
Lovely black tea with hints of ginger, sugar, and spice that really do combine together to make something that tastes remarkably like gingerbread! Absolutely perfect for the holiday season, just like cranberry is! I'd recommend mixing it both with pumpkin spice and with cocomint rooibos or vanilla rooibos chai (or both at once) to see what you get. Delicious. Beware of overbrewing! The gingerbread taste is so soft that I really don't think anything beyond three minutes would be a good idea if you want to taste it fully.
Disappointing, not much kick to it and a little on the bitter side.
