It was a little bitter but I still enjoyed it. All in all good if you like black teas
Both Gingerbread men and women agree: this unique tea is the perfect addition to any house (gingerbread or regular).

It was a little bitter but I still enjoyed it. All in all good if you like black teas
This tea did not overly excite all that much. It is a good tea, just not one that I would place high on my list of 'buy again' teas. The spices in this tea just did not carry through as gingerbread. Perhaps a slice of fresh ginger would help a little. Oh well, on to the next sample of tea. The great thing about this is there is always another choice.
Nice winter tea. I add 1/4 teaspoon of crushed cinnamon stick.
The gingerbread tea has a beautiful aroma, and a nice, mild taste, but not the more intense gingerbread flavor that I was looking forward to...still, it makes a pleasant cup. The tea was a bit acidic and bitter in flavor, after 3 minutes' steeping, but improved when I heated the water in a glass pot. Thank you for your free sample program...I may order this one again.
I was surprisingly pleased with this tea. seeing others' reviews, and not having had much luck with the free samples in previous orders, I was expecting it to be too light of a tea. However, the gingerbread flavor was unmistakable and didn't have that fake-y sense to it. I do recommend brewing this on the longer side, though, as less than five minutes and the flavor is too weak. I tried mixing it with Cream and then with Vanilla and found that it isn't strong enough to stand up at least when combined with other black teas, which was a bit disappointing. I will be ordering the 16 oz since I loved it and since it is supposedly limited edition.
I liked Gingerbread, but the aroma was better than the taste. Decided I like Chocolate Chai better :)
I have had a cold all weekend. This tea is so good hot. Has been very comforting.
This is one of my favorite loose teas. I really like the flavor. I received a sample from friends of mine. Before I finished the sample I purchased the larger bag.
Again, the majority of the Holiday flavors taste fake. There was no gingerbread flavor what so ever.
Was great over the holidays. Satisfied my urge for gingerbread cookies
I had high expectations for this tea, but unfortunately did not taste anything like gingerbread. The orange and ginger flavors stood out more in this one. OK overall.
Great for the holidays! Smells and tastes just like gingerbread cookies.
This was good. Pretty mild. I would like a stronger ginger flavor to it or even more spicyness.
Bought this tea for a friend and this is her review: 'It tastes like a cookie and it's lovely and comforting but not super gingerbread tasting'
Fantastic - warm and sweet without being too overpowering. I got it for Christmas but it'd be nice any time of year!
When I want a flavored tea, I typically go for vanilla, but this gingerbread tea is a fun seasonal alternative. It's definitely gingerbread rather than ginger: no particular gingery zing, but warmly spicy with just a touch of citrus. (For more pronounced ginger flavor, add a thin slice of fresh ginger to the tea as it steeps.) Especially good with milk and sugar. Wish it came in a decaf version so I could drink it in the evenings!
It's warm and comforting, but lacking the spice that would make it truly gingerbread-y. To me, it just ends up tasting a lot like the chestnut or other similar warm and cozy blends. Fine, but not quite gingerbread.
Great with honey and milk. Liquid gingerbread house.
What a fun addition to the holiday tea collection in my pantry! Added a little sugar and milk which gave it a nice smooth taste with the definite touch of holiday spice.
Cinnamon orange and ginger all in one. Yum is all I really have to say. This will definitely be on my holiday list.
Perfect tea for a cold evening. This has become one of my favorites.
Gingerbread was a bit underwhelming for me. I expected much more spice, but it just isn't there. I will continue to drink it, but it could use more ginger and clove.
Such a good tea! The ginger flavor isn't overpowering at all, and it tastes wonderful with milk and sugar.
O.K.
Not the best tea, doesn't even taste like gingerbread, just ginger spice and vanilla separately.
An ok tea...probably won't go out of my way to order this again
It tastes more like gingerbread than just ginger, which is great - it even suggests a hint of frosting to seal the deal.
This is a decent tea, though not especially remarkable. As some others have mentioned, it isn't exactly what you'd expect from 'gingerbread.' There isn't really that 'snap' to it, and it's more of a warm vanilla-y cream sorta taste with a bit of spice. I do wish it were more ginger-y (so maybe if you had it blended with a little bit of ginger, or a ginger inclusion), but it's decent enough on its own. Not something I'll be reordering, but I'll certainly finish it. It seems to be much better in blends than on its own, as I'm currently drinking it in a blend with some pu erh dante and assam and it's quite good. Still not gingerbread-y, but does add a nice flavor that would be gingerbread without the spice, I suppose. So more cookie flavor than actual gingerbread.
Gingerbread has been my favorite tea for years. I order 4 lbs per year so I have enough to last me until the following holiday. Unfortunately, this year's batch is just a little different from previous year's. Adagio, please don't change your recipes! We, your consumers, count on one flavor profile that makes our morning day after day.
Perfect for the holidays. As tasty as a cookie, but no calories!
Yummy tea. Not too strong gingerbread flavor which is what I liked. With sugar and cream tasted like a cookie :)

Good black tea/ginger tea mix. I Would buy it again.
Very subtle flavor. Would've enjoyed a more bold gingerbread taste
This tea was good, but not great. It was sweet, and the spice was there, but I think I was expecting it to taste more like a gingerbread cookie. I might try adding a little cinnamon and ginger to doctor it up, and I'll drink it, but it's not a re-order for me.
It's almost like a gingerbread cookie in a cup! Great paired with the caramel tea too.
Not one I want to try again. It reminded me of how ginger cardboard might taste.
There's not nearly enough ginger in this to taste like real gingerbread to me. Still, the flavor isn't bad as a lightly spiced black tea.
I am not a big capital-L Lover of gingerbread, so this was just right for me. (Other reviews commented it was not strong or very gingerbread-y in flavor, but it was enough holiday flavor for me in a nice blend of black tea).
It was alright, their chai teas are much better so I'll stick to those.
This tea is now officially a favorite of mine. Like I'd tried it in a blend and I could tell the gingerbread was what I loved about it, so I thought, yeah, this'll be great - but I was not prepared for the flavor that happened to my face when I tried it by itself. It's like drinking a cookie (in a good way, not in a mushy way). Like it's got this buttery flavor to it that is amazingfantastic and then there's a gingery flavor - not like OMG SPICES but like... the floralspice flavor that IS ginger. It's just beautiful and I'm adding this to my life of teas that I will need to keep around on a permanent basis, yesyes.
This one is good, but be careful with brewing. It gets really bitter really easily.
delicious. I don't think it tastes exactly like gingerbread--I was certainly hoping for THAT--but it was really good
Great seasonal blend. Nice caffeine pick me up. Spices are nicely done two in the blend.
I think I was looking for something even MORE like gingerbread and was mildly disappointed. Perhaps I'm just used to very spiced bread. Anyways, I mixed it with my cinnamon tea and WOW! That's a great combo for me!
I'm really liking this tea. It has a milder flavor than I was expecting - more 'cookie with a hint of ginger' than full-on 'gingerbread', but still very good. I make mine with a little less than 1tsp sugar and a tiny splash of milk.
Being partial to ginger, and tea that tastes like cookies, this is a natural fit for me. Smells nice, though maybe more like just plain cookies than gingerbread. Tastes nice and sweet. The only way I could think to improve it would be to have more of a molasses note, but it's great as-is.
I got this as a sample and will be buying again. I really have enjoyed this for the Fall. great with vanilla and a bit of milk too. I think it is a good representation of gingerbread and does not taste fake.
This tea is ok on it's own, though I would have wished for more ginger flavor. However, mixed with vanilla, caramel, or cream teas, it adds a terrific spicy undertone. I got this as a free sample, and I'm not sure I'll order it again, since it didn't really 'knock my socks off'.
This is a really nice, mild tea with a lot of nice flavor. I'd like a little more gingerbread taste...I might try steeping it longer next time.
I love gingerbread anything so... I love this tea as well.
