Does not taste like gingerbread to me. The taste is more of a mild creamy black tea. tasted great with a dash of cream.
Both Gingerbread men and women agree: this unique tea is the perfect addition to any house (gingerbread or regular).

Does not taste like gingerbread to me. The taste is more of a mild creamy black tea. tasted great with a dash of cream.
Nice cinnamon taste. Ginger is light and is not a dominant note. I have mixed this with ginger peach and found it to be quite perfect.
good tasting tea on its own, but adding sugar makes it taste so much better.
Really great! Mixes well with the Cream and Almond teas too.
This isn't a bad tea just not as spiced as I would like.
This tea is great! I was initially worried that it might be too spicy, but it isn't, and has a very pleasant flavor.
This has a wonderful aroma that reminds me of sitting by the christmas tree, decorating gingerbread houses. The taste, is much less enchanting. It tastes like lightly spiced black tea. The gingerbread flavor is hardly there at all.
I liked this! I had gotten a gingerbread tea from Teavana and this one had a different sort of spice, perhaps a little bit on the sweeter side. The only complaint I have is that this takes so long to steep to get the stronger flavor that the Teavana tea has. I would probably not buy much of this again. not because it wasn't a great tea, but because I enjoy the Teavana version a little bit more.
Sweet and spicy! I don't know if Adagio has changed the black tea base for flavored teas, but I find that they're much more flavorful and less bitter than they were many years ago.
Something different. Worth checking out, nice mellow somewhat nutty taste.
This tea did not have as much flavor as I expected. Ok tea hot.
My tastebuds may not be refined enough for this one. I just don't taste gingerbread.
Very nice and smooth taste. This will be one of my favorite tea's. About to reorder some more today.
This is a lovely seasonal blend. The flavors are delicious but not overpowering.
Very different with a great mixture of spices. Add a little cream and magic
Not one of my favorites! It's ok. I got it for the holidays.
I purchased this around the holidays thinking that I may or may not actually like the taste. Well, I really love this tea. In fact, I am using it sparingly so I can make it last longer. Worried that it might be a seasonal thing like some of my other favorites (Watermelon Cooler, Sweet Potato). Not too sweet, just a hint of flavor, in a good way.
I sent this as a gift and they loved the flavor.
The taste was better than the smell ~ overpowering in spice.
As far as tasting like gingerbread this tea doesn't quite hit the mark. It tastes more like a ginger spice missing the warm buttery tones of actual gingerbread. As a stand-alone tea it is ok, but if you want to try something even better try to mix it with caramel and you won't be disappointed.
Basic black tea with a little bit of gingerbread.
It's a fine tea. Delicious it may be, it does not live up to it's name. It's got the ginger part down, but not the bread. Still a really good tea though.
VERY GINGERBREAD TASTING
LOVED IT!!!
I really love this tea around the holidays--it smells decadent and the warm spices are very comforting.
A pleasant cup, best served hot and with a little sugar.
Not a huge fan. It has a weird sort of burnt flavor in there somewhere. Drinkable but I wouldn't order it again.
So awesome! Perfect for these cold winter days. so tasty
The gingerbread flavor was more subtle than I expected, but still very delicious.
I'm not a gingerbread fan but this tea is really good.
I wasn't sure if I would like this, given that gingerbread itself is hit or miss for me, but I was curious and my curiosity payed off. The black tea taste smooths over some of the rough edges I get from gingerbread for a nice but still snappy taste.
Not as gingerbread-y as I was expecting, but not a bad tea.
This tea was SO good. I didn't really get a prominent gingerbread flavor from it, but it is still a great tea regardless of that.
This one was a free sample. I'm on the fence about it but I've only had it once
A really great seasonal blend, and I well enjoyed it with milk and sugar. It's got a really pleasant aroma and it was perfect to cozy up with a friend with.
It didn't have very much flavor at all, compared to other gingerbreads from other companies. It's missing all the yummy spice that would make it better.
Very gingery. I loved this blend! It reminded me of Christmas.
A very nice spiced tea without being chai--the flavors are mellow and soothing. The aroma is exactly like gingerbread! Cinnamon-y and biscuity. I love it!
Even though it's not the holidays anymore this is still a good tea to sip on.
A bit of a bite, but a wonderful tea for curling up with on the couch with a good book.
i love how this tea pairs with my almond chai pls
What's to say?LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! Mix with a couple slices of candied ginger, YUM YUM!
Christmas in a cup Smells and tastes like gingerbread as the name suggests. A must have at Christmas time!
This is probably my favorite tea from the holiday batch I ordered. (Though unfortunately I overbrewed my last cup...at least I know what it tastes like brewed well.) It literally tastes like a liquefied gingerbread cookie. I've had a lot of tea that claims to resemble a dessert but doesn't actually taste anything like it, but this tea is perfectly named. It's warming and pleasant and completely delicious. If you like the taste of gingerbread, you will love this tea.
It's so mild? I've brewed it on a couple separate occasions now using different strainers, and it keeps turning out the same: not terribly much spice, low-key sweet, and the Ceylon doesn't present too much either (which, I suppose is why it gets used in flavored blacks). I did know what I was getting into, because I'd read the reviews first, so it wasn't a surprise, but I still wish it was just a little *more.*
The perfect tea to go with some homemade gingerbread, or to satisfy the craving for another piece with fewer calories. It has a wonderful spicy flavor, is excellent with honey or sugar, but I feel like milk mellows the taste too much.
Not a huge fan but it was nice. Tried the sample pack.
I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed this tea. At first smell, it is not a very strong scented tea. However, the flavor was amazing and I was very pleasantly surprised! I especially love this tea when mixed with the cream tea!
This tea is good for an afternoon lull, great taste and really perks you up
The tea was good. Didn't taste much like gingerbread but i liked it all the same.
It was ok. nothing special. i would not get again. a lot of their black tea I find to be very bitter.
