This tea is just ok. There's nothing wrong with it, it's just not as gingery or desserty as I had hoped it would be. It's mild and just kind of meh. I'll skip it next time.
Tastes a lot like the christmas blend, the ginger blend, and a couple other holiday blends. The spice is nice, but nothing new
I searched for a long time to find a gingerbread tea comparable to one I had years ago around the holidays. This one does the job! It's delicious -- even when it's not Christmas! ;)
This tea disappointed me a bit, I couldn't pick up any gingerbread flavor. It mostly tasted like a good black with a little vanilla.
Love this mixed with peach tea. Best as a hot tea. More of an autumn or winter tea.
Very good as well. It smells like gingerbread! It is a bit bitter, though. But the bitterness may be due to the fact that I put the tea leaves in hot water for more than 5 minutes.
This tea smells delicious, though the taste doesn't quite carry over to the cup. It definitely captures the sugary, smoky flavor of molasses found in gingerbread, but I don't get as much ginger flavor as I would like in the cup (though I could smell it in the sample). Perhaps it needs a different steeping time; I am a 'steep and forget' kind of person.
Love this gingerbread mixed with peach, either hot or iced. Great blend to ease stomach issues!

I purchased several of the sample sized packets of tea, and this is tied with the mocha nut mate for being my favorite. It has a wonderful smell and is amazing with a tiny splash of cream and a pinch of sugar.
Pleasant without being overwhelming - nice for a cup with some energy to it.
It definitely evokes gingerbread, and the spices are there but not overpowering. I gave some of this tea to a friend who likes black tea with flavors.
I thought I would like this, but it tasted bitter to me. The ginger flavor was more subtle than I was hoping for.
The complexity of this tea surprises me every time. You expect it to be little more than glorified cinnamon, but there is a lot more going on here.

Slightly disappointed with this tea. Not as much ginger taste as I would like. The taste of black tea overpowers the spice blend. I even brewed it at a lower temp. Glad I selected this as a free sample.
Smooth and subtle, the right notes of ginger and spice give this a pleasant warmth without being cloying. If you're looking for a cookie-in-a-cup, this isn't it.

I got this as a sample, and was very pleased. Really tastes quite a bit like gingerbread. Oddly, I like this tea even better when blended with other nut and spice teas. Although the delicate flavor is somewhat overpowered by the stronger flavored teas, the gingerbread adds a nice rich depth to the background that I find very intriguing.
Takes the place of the real cookie man and very little calories just add a little milk.
Not the strongest, spiciest gingerbread I've ever had, but still pretty good. It has a strong black tea flavor, and and light spice flavor in the background. There is a gingerbread cookie tea that takes this one, and really turns it into something outstanding.
This one surprised me. I made it like I would a normal chai and it is so watery. I let it steep for 5 minutes, I didn't keep an eye one it. But it just came out like I was drinking water.
This was a great tea to drink to start my day. I had to put in a small teaspoon of sugar for a sweeter taste, but other than that this tea was good.
This one was not my favorite. It was a gift to my brother and it was good, just not something I would buy again.
This tea is the perfect blend of black tea and ginger with a hint of sweet. Its the perfect winter tea.
Dec 14 '16:I taste a slight ginger, but more clove than any other flavors. Perhaps if there was molasses flavoring, or something to give it more molasses flavoring, because the gingerbread cookies I know have a more molasses flavor. I will update my review when I try it again at a different temp and steeping time, as I don't drink milk or cream, though I have coconut cream, but I'd like to use it for something else.
Jan 18th '17: not as bad as I originally stated, but still slight ginger and all that as previously mentioned, but better with a bit less leafs and getting the water near boiling and steeping longer.
This really settles my stomach when it is upset. Good for an afternoon snack.
It was okay, however, the it didn't taste like gingerbread as advertised.
The flavor was EXTREMELY strong when it came to the ginger. I probably let it steep a little too long but I would not recommend letting it sit very long as the flavor was almost overwhelming.
This tea is between ok and good for me. I first tried it through the better tea club and bought it because of the 15 off. It's not the most amazing but it's decent.
Smooth, dark, rich, and a little creamy. These are the immediate notes I pick up on in tasting the cup. It's relatively straightforward. I don't taste the orange at all. I don't taste cinnamon either, which I'd have expected since usually cinnamon is noticeable. This is a polite, drying cup and doesn't taste like a gingerbread man. However, what it is is definitely quiet, refined, and enjoyable. I like this, as it's not 'meh', but it's good. :)
Drinking this is like celebrating the holidays year round. It's well-balanced and the gingerbread flavor is not overwhelming.

This was a really warm flavor. Very vanilla-y, and sort of like a chai. I didn't find it as terrible as a lot of people did, but it's not one that I will seek out again.
It was good, but gingerbread is better dipped in tea, not flavoring it.

I'm only giving this an ok because I don't actually like gingerbread. My mother loves gingerbread and this is one of her favorite teas.
Much better than I expected, given the mixed reviews on this tea. I made this with almond milk and a little sweetener, and it really did taste very much like gingerbread. This would make a great addition to many Christmas-themed blends, but it's also really lovely on its own.
I think this is a tasty tea. That said, it smells better than it actually tastes. To really bring out the taste, at least for me, you have to add a little bit of sugar least it's almost tasteless for me. It's still a good tea though! I'm not sure if I would bother buying it again though. We'll have to see!

I didn't think this was going to be too 'spiced' for me, but it really was. Did not love, maybe would have gone better with a ton of milk and sugar...?
A very nice spice tea. I understand why other reviewers don't think this screams gingerbread cookie flavor but it still has the right combination of spices and a sweet undertone. I actually like this rather than it tasting heavily of biscuits.
This is a perfectly balanced warming blend. I like to cut it with some assam for a punch-you-in-the-face morning cup, or drink it straight in the afternoon.
Something about this blend makes me want to wrap myself up in a blanket.
