This only had a slight ginger flavor. I was looking for more of a dessert tea and it wasn’t flavorful enough for me

I really enjoy this tea. It reminds me of Christmas baking everytime I have a cup. It's also one that I brew a bit longer as I like a stronger flavor.
While I enjoyed this tea, like other people, I wish it had more gingerbread and spice to it. It was milder than I was expecting, but if you're on the fence about gingerbread flavoring, it would be worth trying.
A very heavily spiced tea. Great as a cold night sipper with a splash of cream. Tasted very dry until I added the cream. Probably won't buy again. But enjoyed it well enough
This might be the tea I drink the most. The spices are a gentle complement to the black tea, comforting but not overwhelming.
I bought this after I had received it as a free sample with an order. It is fantastic! Smell wonderful both out of the package & brewed, and the gingerbread taste is strong. I love this tea especially when the weather turns cold.

I was worried this would be too overbearing. I like gingerbread cookies, but sometimes they can have too much spice to them. This tea is the perfect balance of gingerbread cookie. It’s got the elements of a cookie, but it is not overbearing at all. I use a touch of cream to smooth it out.
I love this tea during the winter months. It reminds me of baking and eating gingerbread cookies along with the grandkids.
A wonderful tea that I truly enjoyed at Christmas. Reminded me of the gingerbread cookies I made with my daughters. Very comforting smooth flavor with hints of clove. Was wonderful with a drop of condensed milk

I love trying out different Christmas/holiday season teas. Especially this past holiday season. I’ve been unable to eat so trying out different holiday drinks was a fun way to enjoy the season. Warm cozy and packed with holiday magic/joy. Feels like a Christmas tradition in a mug. Highly recommended! It might become your new favorite holiday/Christmas season drink
We were really looking forward to this tea as we love gingerbread and the holidays. The traditional smells and tastes are wonderful so to be able to have this in a tea would HAVE been fantastic had it lived up to its name but we were sadly let down and not so gently! The let down was a crash and burn with this one. I guess we all were just expecting way more then Adagio were able to give. With a flavor of ginger and a slight note of cloves the rest you really are missing...which is the 'bakery' taste and that is what gives it the distinctive taste. Talk about a real letdown.
Glad I tried it! Smells lovely and tastes like a cookie if you add sweetener. Definitely a good one to have in the holiday tea rotation, if that's your jam.
i like ginger, i like gingerbread, i like tea. easy points here. not the best ginger tea by far and lacks any pastry notes. mostly just ginger black tea. which is yummy, but not special.
Very little ginger flavor. Was expecting some ginger “bite.” Pretty bland. Would not order again. Perhaps Adagio has other ginger teas that are stronger.

This tea is good but I would prefer to have it be a bit more spicy. Maybe Adagio should make this one and a spicy gingerbread.
This had a strong taste and aroma, and I enjoyed it! It reminded me a bit of Chestnut, though I prefer Chestnut better.
It smelled wonderful in the packet, but I found it lost so much once steeped and lost the spice expected with gingerbread. I had a bit of orange and ginger but I guess it wasn't enough to carry through. I think I got a weak mix and this might be better from a larger package where you can get more of the spices. Brewed at 204 for 3 minutes and finished with honey and a splash of half & half.
I like the taste but the gingerbread-ness of it is fairly weak.
This would be a perfect tea for Christmas morning just before everyone wakes up and I turn on the tree and all the lights and sit while the Christmas breakfast is in the oven. Light gingerbread flavour but still caffeinated with a black tea. Just perfect

Update: loved it this time and thought it was the perfect amount of flavor. Wonder what changed. Anyway, love.

Not one that I really like. I’m just not a black tea fan. Gave it 5 stars bc the favors are exactly how explained.
This was an enjoyable, cozy tea. The spices were nicely balanced so that even when brewed for 6 minutes instead of the recommended 3, it wasn't bitter. Sweetened with 1 Splenda packet.
I only give it four stars instead of five because I don’t find it all that gingerbread like—it is a wonderful cup of tea however.
To make it more gingery, I added equal portions of this tea with Chocolate Chai and found it spot on!

I first tried this in a sample pack, and I fell in love. This is one of my go to teas when I start to have that Christmas feeling or when I am feeling a little under the weather, gingerbread tea with lemon is very soothing.
This tea is so good! It doesn’t give gingerbread the way I have hoped but it still makes for a very tasty iced latte, especially in the fall!
This is a good winter tea to drink because it has a very heart-warming taste that make you want to have another cup. The gingerbread smell and the cinnamon taste is especially good with a small teaspoon of honey.

This tea made me want to rush down to my local Aldi to get the Gingerbread Windmill cookies! Next time I sip this tea, I will have those lovely, crispy cookies along side and bask in memories of Germany. The ginger isn't overpowering, it is just enough to give you the warm/cozy feeling one needs in winter.
Just OK for me. Very light gingerbread flavor. Coats the tongue in an odd way. Perhaps a bit of cream and sugar would improve the flavor.
