2021: The first steep was all tea (not necessarily a bad thing) with just a hint of ginger on the back end and no discernible peach. Next morning I did a resteep and all three flavors came together in harmony just as I was expecting. I’m considering getting a sample to try it iced and cold-brewed to see how that affects the mix, as others have mentioned.
2022: I got a more balanced sample this time and it was easy to identify the smell and flavor of each ingredient. This will be especially lovely for crisp, autumn mornings. Steeped 3ish mins @ 200°

CommuniTEA Sample: A nice peachy tea with some good fruit flavor. Not overly strong and would probably be excellent iced.

I am not a huge fan of peach flavor beverages so I was not expecting to enjoy this tea however, I surprised myself by drinking the entire cup before I realized It was too late to save half my cuppa to drink later over ice. Brewed my CT pkt 212 for 3 min and added honey and milk.

The aroma of the tea in the packet smelled delicious but after brewing I mostly just get bitter. There is a maybe a hint of something else but the bitter quickly overwhelms my tongue. For me, this may be a cold brew tea only. (195F for 3min)

Lovely peach aroma wafted out of the packet. Steeped for 2 minutes @ 190° and the tea was bitter. After cooling off the mostly ginger flavor came through with a hint of peach in the background. Maybe my tea packet was missing something ? Just not my cup of tea.

Ginger Peach

Recommended Steep: 3 minutes @ 212°F

My sample came in the June communiTEA box. I steeped for 3 minutes @ 195°F, in an attempt to stave off bitterness of the black tea, in approximately 11 oz of water with 1 tsp of rock/tea sugar.

Upon opening the packet, a moderately strong ginger aroma was noted, with an underlying faint peach/apricot aroma that was barely detectable. Once the steeping began the peach/apricot aroma pushed the ginger into the background.

I didn’t really taste much that was discernible when the blend was hot, which was disappointing. I generally like peach teas. Unfortunately, this was an exception. Others seem to like this tea, but I just don’t. To me, the flavors don’t blend smoothly, or, to use a yarn dyeing term, it tasted ‘muddy’ and indistinct. I couldn’t finish it. Maybe I need to try it iced, or get a larger sample-but I don’t really want to. 1.5 stars from me.

The ginger and peach blended nicely, neither overpowering the other. Very delightful with milk and sugar!

The ginger was overpowering so I couldn’t really pick up on the peach. I also found it somewhat bitter so I wasn’t a fan.

Another favorite - Adagio just keeps delivering delicious teas - this is one of my favorite combinations!

One of my favorites! Neither the ginger nor the peach are overpowering - both are fairly mild. But the balance is excellent and makes a great cup of tea, hot or iced.

I found this tea unimpressive. It didn't seem to know what it wanted to be because there was no one prominent flavor, just a nondescript fruitiness.

One of my all-time favorites. Though the peach flavor is certainly present, it's much more complex than the peach-only flavor tea. Very tasty.

It’s fine-it just tastes like something you would get at a cafè. Also I’m not really tasting the ginger

Exactly as expected. Great mix of ginger and peach!

Ginger is very dominant in this tea and interferes with the peach. Reminds me more of a herbal tea than a black tea. If you like ginger, go for it, if not, it might be too overpowering.

The tea could use a little bit more ginger. I like this tea in the morning

This loose leaf tea was a gift and the recipient has raved about it!

This has become my new favorite tea! It’s so refreshing and just makes me happy every time I have a cup! I’ve been having it hot since the weather is colder now, but looking forward to trying it iced!

one of my favorite combos, this blend is delicious

★★★★★

Delicious blend that tastes exactly like the Ginger Peach Tea I had at the O'Henry Hotel!

★★★☆☆

This cup was just okay to my palate -- and it should be noted that I'm not in general a huge fan of fruit teas in general so your mileage may vary. I was looking forward to this one however thinking that the ginger and peach would taste nice together; however I found it to be a bit artificial tasting and far too astringent. I don't like to add sweetener and dairy and have a hunch this cup would have benefitted from both. I am saving the rest of my sample to try cold brewed overnight come summer and expect I may enjoy it more that way.

This tea is very peachy and quite pleasant. I really enjoy this tea because it is not overpowering in the ginger taste.

★★★★★

I really enjoy this tea! It is one of my go to's. Is great warm with some honey.

★★★★☆

I like this tea once in awhile. Not over-powering in the flavors, just ok. Update!!! 12-13-2021 : I guest my tastebuds have changed, but the Ginger Honey is very good. I now can taste the peach and I add some ginger spice...to give an extra kick to the tea.

This is probably one of the strongest in terms of smell and taste that I've had. There's a distinct air and taste of peach to the blend. Overall, I found it to be acceptable. But it was a little dry beyond the flavor and won't be one I'll revisit.

Nice mix with equal ginger and peach flavors. Not over powering.

This is a well-blended, smooth, delicious mix of ginger and peach in a black tea. The only thing keeping it from being a 5-star review for me is that I found the ginger to be just a bit underwhelming. I like a hefty dose of ginger spiciness in my ginger peach teas, but if you prefer a much milder ginger you will probably love this. I blended this with a dash of Adagio's double ginger and created tea perfection for me.

Yummy - especially with some milk and sugar. But I like absolutely anything peach flavored

I bought this for a Christmas gift so I can’t give my review.

Pleasantly warming, but also has a great potential as an iced tea.

I really like this one. Ginger by itself is a bit weird, but when mixed with the peach it is outstanding. Yum!

Wonderful peach flavor with just a hint of ginger. Great as an iced tea

★★★★☆

Great flavor combo, very good! I enjoy this tea in the summer time.

This is SOOOO ginger-y but also has a nice peach taste! By far the best ginger peach tea I've tasted when compared to several other brands.

Perfect blend of peach and ginger. The 2 flavors compliment each other well

This is one of my top 5 teas. The ginger is subtle helping the peach shine. If you ice the brew then the peach is more pronounced making this a versatile tea to enjoy hot or cold.

Amazing taste! Perfect amount of peach and ginger

Good tea blend just personally not my most favorite flavor.

This has such a nice flavor, not overly gingery or excessively peachy. It’s a very interesting combo that’s quickly become a favorite.

Good black tea with peach and ginger, but not too much to be overpowering.

Nicely balanced between the ginger and peach while hot, but the peach flavor became more pronounced as the tea cooled.

I really enjoyed this blend. The ginger peach combo works well together.

I do not like this tea. It seems to be mostly black tea (of poor quality; some sort of ceylon in small pieces), and the ginger peach flavor is overpowered by the so-so black tea. I

I knew that I liked ginger and peaches and tea, but I was surprised to find that they all three of these flavors went so well together! Definitely a favorite of mine.

Steeped at 200 for 3min to try and mitigate some of the bitterness of the tea leaves. It smells like a wonderful summer day, however the taste left me a little flat in that the fruit flavors seemed to vanish quickly.

I love drinking this hot, and was pleasantly surprised to find how much I also liked it iced.

We have brewed this as iced tea and really like it. The ginger gives a nice peppiness to the peach flavor. Great on a hot day!

A definite winner for flavor. This tea packs such a flavor punch with an hefty dose of ginger warmth at first balance by a second wave of peach sweetness. The peach flavor may come across as a bit fake for some - its right on the edge for my tastes. I would give 4.5 stars, but I honestly like it enough to go to 5. Give it a try hot with milk for a real treat.

Complex fragrance prior to steeping of black tea, ginger, ripe peach/apricot with some floral notes. A veritable bouquet of scents. The fragrance weakens after tea is completed, but the brew is still tasty. I could really taste the apricot and peach strongly with a very slight hint of flowers. No sweetener needed and there was no bitterness. Smooth & silky in the mouth. I want to try this one iced! It is very good hot, but I suspect it would be excellent as an iced tea.

This tea is a bit too easy to oversteep for my liking. Once you do, it s a bitter, astringent beast. Cut down on things a bit and it s an okay fruity thing with a bit of a bite.
