The currant tea has a wonderful aroma, that lingers long after it is brewed. My husband and I enjoy it after dinner, with shortbread...though we mainly consume green tea, this fruit tea is a pleasant option for an evening treat. I recommend it to those who enjoy fruit teas...Eva G. from FL
This was a gift, but she loved it! Her only comment was that she wishes you had a decaf variety of it. I found out that I like my tea without the fruit, I'm really more of a purist.

This is a refreshing and interesting blend. I enjoyed this during the winter months. I look forward to trying it during the summer as an iced tea.

nicely done not chemialicy the way some fruit teas can be, for someone who loves currants like me this tea is lovely and dosent need sugar I think it will make great iced tea

This tea has a very tart, subtle fruity flavor. It's really different, especially if you like the fruit-flavored black teas.
This is my new favorite tea! Has a very unique flavor - not sure I would have guessed currant. Wonderful served hot and add a dollop of cream.
This was a really unexpectedly versatile flavor. I ended up using this tea in my recipe for cold soba noodle dip to great effect. Excellent for cooking.

The currant flavor is a bit overpowering for me. I like it best when I mix it 50-50 with another black tea (I usually use assam).

Like many of the dried berry teas I have tried, the fruit flavor ends up tasting 'dusty'. This tea has the same dustyish tint, but the currents add a very nice sourish taste to the tea.
I like this kind of tea, perfect for Fall time. I added dried cranberries to it during steeping for fun. And drink it alone is also wonderful.

Yummy, full flavored black tea. I didn't think I'd like fruit flavored black tea so much, but both this tea and the Forest Berry are perfect blends. I think they make great breakfast teas.

Currant-flavored anything works for me, as it's a slightly sweet, but dark essence - perfect for morning with currant scones!
My sister loved this tea! It's brews to a lovely hue enhanced by a pretty potent aroma. Following brewing directions is key on this one, if oversteeped it can be slightly bitter.
To like this, you really need to love the taste of blackcurrant. I found this strong and rather bitter. The blackcurrant was strong, but I didn't find the flavor too pleasing. Then again, I only like a little bit of blackcurrant taste.

Has a stronger taste of currant than i am accustomed to and not as sweet. That would be a good thing if I really liked currants, but I don't think that I do.

At first, the fragrance of the tea leaves disappointed me; however, the actual tea taste is surprisingly refreshing and fruity. Yummy!!
Nice smooth berry taste. Still a bit of the black tea bitterness coming through, but it gives it a nice flavor.
