I used this tea as the base for my homemade chai, and it was amazing! For those who are lactose-intolerant, but love chai latte, this is a fantastic substitute.
Classic Ceylon tea touched with the flavor of fresh cream. Sweet and warm, pleasantly brisk, delicately creamy.

This is a good mixer. A vanilla-y whipped cream tea.
It will make you cream yourself. SeewhatIdidthere??
Lovely. Smooth and not sweet at all, with a back note of richness and a luxurious mouthfeel. Equally good hot and cool.
I don't think I expected this tea to taste exactly like it does, but it's pretty good regardless. Blending with it is a great idea.
This tea has a lovely creamy scent. It's smooth and simple, and goes great with biscuits when you're wanting sweets.
This brews up as a cup of black tea with a strong scent of - not just cream - but sweetened, slightly artificial whipped cream. The cream doesn't come through in the taste, although it does leave an artificial cream aftertaste.
Brewing it less strongly just results in a weaker cup of tea. Mixing it into blends will add the whipped cream scent, but doesn't enhance taste - just adds the taste of black tea.
I would recommend it if you really like sweetened whipped cream, but not if you're just looking for the taste of actual cream. If you add cream to it, with or without sugar, there is basically no difference to the taste from adding cream to a cup of black Ceylon. A disappointing cup of tea!
I don't care much for this tea on its own, but it's great for blending with other teas and herbals. This mild, sweet, smooth tea makes a great base for mixing just about any other flavor.
This tea was a nice departure from some of the sweeter blends. It had a nice strong black tea flavor that was softened by the cream, just enough to take the bitter edge off.
I like mixing this 50/50 with coconut. Again, finicky black base.
it was good, not the best, the only creaminess it had was a slight after taste
I enjoyed this tea. It was a little strong, but a little extra sugar and some cream it turned out quite nice.
This is one of the first teas I tried from Adagio and still one of my favorites. There is a sweetness and subtle cream taste making it one of the teas to which I don't need to add any, or much (depending on my mood!), sweetener.
A very strong and good tea flavor with the cream complimenting the strength of the tea without overwhelming. A new staple in the house.
Great cream flavour, not gross or artificial. It almost reminds me of the Cold Stone sweet cream ice cream, or cereal milk. It's wonderful alone, but add a bit of sugar and actual cream (half-n-half) and it's a perfect before-bed cozy comfort. I can't wait to mix this one with the black fruits. It's a perfect base for blending!
This is the greatest dessert tea... and great for mixing. i'm back for a big bag this time around.
Delicious, smooth, and it finishes with an aftertaste almost like homemade marshmallows.
I love this tea! The subtle, soft hint of creamy sweetness is amazing! I love it with or without cream added which is saying a lot because I normally always prefer my tea with cream.
This brewed up very light in color for a black tea. It's flavor was delicate as well. It is definitely creamy and sweet. I was surprised, as I expected this to be a cream and sugar tea, but it was actually better black. I like the cream flavor that the tea has, and sugar didn't bring it out, it almost covered it up for me. I re-brewed it, and the flavors were even a little better, which was incredibly unexpected! I love this tea, even more than I expected to. I bought it to do some tea blending, but I don't know how much of the sample will make it into blends. So good!!
Smells much sweeter than it actually tastes. Aside from the hint of sweetness (which may have more to do with the smell than the taste), this is a pretty typical, light black tea. The real value comes from blending with it, I think. On its own it's a bit blah.
This was really delicious and sweet. It almost tasted like drinking a cookie
Similar to the chocolate chip, I found this tea to be very weak and lackluster. I ordered it based on the description, but was completely disappointed with the result. Adding sugar and a dash of milk helped, but this tea should be able to stand on its own.
I generally adore cream teas and the Earl Grey Moonlight by Adagio is one of my favorites. I was really looking forward to sampling this tea and I am afraid that I must rate it poorly due to how disappointing it was. I don't have a very sensitive nose so when I opened the package and caught the overwhelming reek of artificial vanilla, I was ambivalent. After all, if someone like me, who lives with a slightly stuffy beak could smell the fake vanilla scent, then I can only imagine what a more sensitive nose would sense. After brewing, I tried the tea plain, with milk, with sugar, with sugar and milk, and with lemon. The lemon combination seemed to work out a bit better because it cut through the fake-vanilla aroma and taste, but overall it was a disappointment. I would avoid this tea unless you enjoy drinking air freshener.
To my tastebuds, this actually has less cream flavor and more astringency than the vanilla tea, which is fine by me. The cream essentially adds a little smooth note to a pretty decent black tea. Not blow-my-socks-off, but a nice everyday tea for sipping in class or doing homework.
I thought this was a decent tea. It tastes like black tea and definitely does have a creamy flavor to it. On it's own, it is unimpressive to me, but I bet it is extremely complimentary in blends as the cream flavor doesn't taste too artificial or overwhelming but it is still present.
I would never have believed cream flavored tea could be so delicious, but wow. It is. It's wonderful. I tried it in the Adagio store in Chicago and immediately bought several ounces. It's also great for blending with other teas. (I like to mix it with the black cinnamon tea from Adagio.) Definitely worth trying.
One of my favorite samples, I always have to have it in my collection so I can add it when needed to different blends I try out.
An OK tea on its own, but this thing really pops when you blend it. Instantly makes anything taste fluffier and sweeter. Like drinking baked goods.
This is the tea I drink when I have a bad day. It's just so tasty and comforting--especially with cream and sugar--I love cuddling up with a cup of it!
Very mild cream flavor. I suggest a bit of half and half and a dash of vanilla syrup. I plan to mix this with coconut.
Relatively mild on its own. I use this tea to add a lighter, smooth quality to blends, and it works pretty well for that.
The cream flavor felt a bit artificial, otherwise it was a fairly decent tea. One would probably be better off just adding actual cream to black tea.
Oh my goodness, this is a cup of comfort food!!! When I poured this tea I decided to try it without cream since it was already cream. It was good that way but excellent with a little bit of milk added! I'll definitely be buying this over and over to have on those days that I need a boost or as a dessert tea!
A good and sweet tea, goes well with dessert. Just don't steep for too long...
Very Subtle and Soothing Tea. You could drink this in the Afternoon easily to unwind after a day of work.
It contains vanilla. Tea should never contain vanilla. Bleagh!
This was just okay. There is a very subtle cream note, but not enough to really wow me. The black tea base as well just felt a little bit bland. Overall, a decent tea, but also very plain and average. Which is why I give it 3 stars.
I got this as a free sample with my last order. Gave it to the husband (I prefer green tea), who went through the sample in record time and asked for more. He brews and adds milk. It smells really good, like sweet milky things.
Not perfect on its own, but an amazing tea to add to others. One of my favorites that way.
I love this tea. I also love that I don't have to add milk because it already tastes creamy.
I love to top off other blends with this tea! A teaspoon in an infuser of Summer Rose tastes like high-end dessert, makes me feel fancy!
Good to blend with others, but I wouldn't drink it on it's own.
It really tastes like cream, which to me doesn't taste like much. I think it will be useful for mellowing out other flavors and making them smoother. I mixed it with Wild Strawberry tea with this based on a recommendation, and it was pretty good!
Delicious subtle cream flavor. I enjoyed it a great deal, however it is good to note that the flavor is masked if Splenda is added.
Yuck! I was expecting it to taste like cream as it claims to be, but this has a cloying caramel flavor. The smell and taste are overpowering. So glad I only bought a sample!
I wouldn't drink this tea on its own, but I've used it in blends. It softens and sweetens the flavors of harsher teas. It smells sweet and creamy, almost like whipped cream or frosting. Those are things most people wouldn't like on their own but enhance things they are paired with. The same goes for this tea. I feel an ice cream themed blend coming on very soon.
Very nice and light flavor. I drank mine with some milk and sugar and it was very good. I also think that it will taste good blended with other teas, so I look forward to experimenting!
This tea is sublime! It is like a vanilla milkshake tea party and it blends so perfectly with floral teas. I'm in love. With tea. There, I said it.
Creamy and really good with a bit of milk or half and half. I was pleasantly surprised by this.
A very smooth black tea. No need to add milk or sugar.
