I didn’t taste any cranberry in my tea. I had high hopes for a good tea, but it didn’t live up to my expectations.
Clean, bright flavor with a juicy sweetness. This delicious autumn delight is a great complement to your next holiday feast, which your guests are sure to gobble down.

I didn’t taste any cranberry in my tea. I had high hopes for a good tea, but it didn’t live up to my expectations.
Upon opening the packet, I time traveled to my childhood and could have been holding a bottle of Flinstones vitamins. Definitely an abundance of chewable vitamin C tablet aroma. 2 min @ 175. A light tanginess, not necessarily cranberry flavor, but I couldn't get past the vision of vitamins.
strong contendor for one of my all-time fav selections from communitea!
This was a little more tart than I expected. Overall, it's good.
Tastes just like cranberry and black tea. This one needs a hint of sweetener!
I didn’t taste a lot of cranberry. I couldn’t put my finger on a taste. No bitterness. I preferred this tea much more cold with a bit of honey.
It's a pretty good tea, considering that the flavoring is cranberry. Cranberry is a bit like lemon: it's going to be tart, so do you like it? When it's cranberry, generally I pass, but this is actually a nice tea... But you are quite likely to want to sweeten this one up!
Good tea. Hot I could taste the cranberry and black tea. Did have a little bitterness at the end of the sip. The second steep I let cool. I enjoyed the cranberry flavor on this one. No bitterness.
I definitely don't get a distinctive cranberry flavor to this, but if I ignore what it promises to be, this is a nice cup of tea in its own right. Smooth, not too astringent, a little bit of sweetness, some layers from the raspberry leaf. If I really loved cranberries I'd be disappointed, but if you're looking for an interesting black tea with a touch of generic fruitiness, this is a good one to try.
This tea is... not good. The aroma from the packet is immediately off-putting. It smells very artificial and, I don't know, vinegary? I kept drinking it, even though I disliked every sip, because I kept hoping it would get better and it never did. It does not taste like cranberry at all to me, it's just very tannic, astringent, and sour. Maybe it's better iced than hot, but I'm honestly not interested in finding out. Steeped 2.5 min @ 195ª.
This is a nice black tea flavored with cranberries. There was a slight tartness but not overwhelming the fruit or tea flavors. Very nice.
Update 11/13/23: Cranberry has come up in the CommuniTEA rotation again, and I'm unimpressed. I'm not sure what I liked about it last time. The fruit flavor tastes artificial and, as I said in my last review, it's not at all identifiable as cranberry to me. In fact, it tastes more like blueberry...which I also find to taste artificial. Consequently, I'm downgrading my rating to three stars.
To be fair, I did like this tea. It's lightly fruity, and although it takes a little sweetener well, it was pleasant without it. There's a tartness from the cranberry flavor that gives the black tea a nice lift. That said, I don't know that I would quite identify the flavor as cranberry, hence the four-star rating.
A nice, lightly tart cranberry tea! As with most of the Adagio blends containing raspberry leaf, it risks turning bitter faster than you might expect, so pull the leaves a little sooner than you otherwise might. You can always keep steeping, but you can never turn back the clock!
I found it enjoyable, though I wish the cranberry flavor was stronger. I get the black tea, the raspberry leaves, and the tartness of the cranberry, but little of the cranberry flavor. I was really hoping for a stronger cranberry flavor and tart/sourness.
I first tasted this in one of the Christmas sets and it is my second favorite of those. Tart and a little sweet.
On it's own, it's very bitter. I normally drink my tea black, but I just couldn't with this one. After adding a spoonful of sugar, it tastes much better and is very drinkable.
Slight bitter, tangy, notes of cranberry without being too forward. This tea was tasty and gave me holiday vibes.
This one was not good, but I will start by saying I despise cranberries. There were not many in my packet, but there were enough to ruin the black tea for me. the taste was weird, tha'ts all i can say
I love cranberries and was very much looking forward to trying this tea. I wasn't disappointed at all. The flavor was wonderful. I will be trying this tea cold brewed next time.
Update: So, I did this tea cold brewed and love it. This tea is good both hot and cold.
Another flavored black tea on here that is light in taste. I was hoping for more cranberry; even if it was sour, but the berry flavor was barely discernible from the Ceylon. I am crazy about cranberry, but this one didn't hit the mark for me.
A holiday tea perfection, or a tea to enjoy anytime thatcha have a cranberry hankerin'! Adding Cranberries..to the steep is most delicious!!!
It's fine but it doesn't really taste like cranberry at all. Just sort of tastes like regular black tea!
I notice very little cranberry flavor. As a black tea in general, it tastes good, but I feel like I would have loved it if the cranberry was notable.
i really wanted to like this one as I absolutely love cranberry in the fall. Unfortunately, this just tastes like hot bitter black tea while hot, and cold bitter black tea when chilled. I've tried it in a handful of blends with no real luck yet. Perhaps my tastebuds haven't reached autumn yet; I'll try again a little later on in the season. I may end up giving the majority of 3 0z to my neighbor.
I love cranberry, and I love that this is a high caffeine fruit-flavored tea. Just the right amount of sweet and tart.
When you need something with a little bit of tartness, this is perfect. I added just a touch of sugar.
A delicious black tea with nice cranberry flavor. I was worried it might be too tart or bitter but I really enjoyed it. Especially nice option for the holiday season.
This flavor is a subtle flavor of sweetness and tart from the cranberry. For me I needed this with some sugar or honey. Perfect tea to have iced or hot.
This is one of my regulars, nice hint of cranberry.
Lovely flavor of tea with excellent cranberry flavor, a balance of sweet and tart. Bought a sample size and will buy a larger size!
I like my teas fruity and this just tasted like straight black tea. Not for me.
The black tea is smooth with no butter after taste. The cranberry is almost nonexistent. There is a good aroma of berry, but no taste of it.
The cranberry adds a nice touch to the black tea base. Not sure if I’ll order again. Too many other great teas in front of it.
Found during my flavored tea experimentation that it's ultimately just like the raspberry flavor and I will prefer that over this.
I liked this tea! This one didn't taste like cranberry to me, but my friend said it tasted like cranberry to him. As such, I'd say the cranberry flavor isn't very strong. It is a very good breakfast tea.
oh
my
gosh!
This is the best Autumn tea I have had in a long while. Cranberry definitely comes out as sweet and juicy.
I like this one! Nice light cranberry flavor. Not sour or bitter but also not sweet. Taste very much like cranberry. Nice winter flavor when you want a break from the typical cinnamons, nutmegs & etc.
CommuniTEA 11/21/22: Something is definitely off about this tea, or at least my portion today.
I love black and I love cranberry. In the absence of actual cranberry the raspberry leaf ratio didn’t seem too bad, but this was bizarrely undrinkable. Even the scent of the dry tea was questionable in a surprising turn! Instead of a sharp dark berry aroma against black tea this was like a balsamic vinegar or something else fermented. 194F for 3min, steeping certainly did not help that cause and it turned further chemical. Sugar couldn’t save this. I gave it several deliberate sips just to try pinpointing the problem before I told myself: life is too short for tea you don’t enjoy so why are you punishing yourself?
About 9 of my 12oz met the drain. Whatever it was, it was nowhere close to cranberry. Hopefully this is an aberration and I can try again with a better report in the future.
For me what turned me off was the heavy raspberry smell on opening the CommuniTEA packet. The cranberry flavor was mild, even with adding sweetener and cream. I anticipate this would taste better in a blend.
a good tea! i didnt get too much cranberry flavor, perhaps it might come out stronger if coldbrewed
There were no cranberries in my packet and very few raspberry leaves. The tea tasted beautifully of cranberries though, so I was a happy sipper! I steeped at 190 degrees for 3 minutes and added rock sugar to counteract the expected tartness.
Nice tea with a good balance of fruitiness and tartness. I enjoyed with some honey.
A gently tart tea with only mild bitterness. 3 mins @ 212 degrees.
This isn't my favorite Adagio holiday blend- I find the black tea astringency a bit at odds with the cranberry flavoring, resulting in a rather medicinal cup. I like this tea with harder water, but I haven't found a brew time or strength that I really like.
This is a great fall tea. I like it with a little honey. Very festive!
There were no cranberries in my CT sample. It really tasted more like raspberry to me - no tartness at all.
Perhaps if it had cranberry in the sample it would have been more what I expected.
This was a nice black tea. The cranberry is a nice, not overpowering flavor.
UPDATED from 11/26/20: There are black tea leaves and raspberry leaves in the CommuniTEA packet today, but sadly no cranberry pieces to be found, The aroma is of a black tea, and it brews (at a lower temp) into a rust orange/red colour. The bitterness from the black and raspberry leaves are predominant. Typical astringency on the finish. Adding ¼ teaspoon of sweetener (to 10 oz) lowers the bitterness a tad and heavy whipping cream makes this a much more delicious cup of tea. Not tasting cranberries, but with high caffeine, this is good for sipping on in the morning while finishing up some last minute Thanksgiving Day food items. (3mins @200ºF + sweetener and cream).
This tea is sweet, tart and tangy, with a very dry mouth feel on the finsh. I added a little sugar to bring out the fruit flavor. Excellent cup for a cold fall day.
I received this from the communitea box. My sampling didn’t appear to have any cranberries, but the berry flavor was strong. Would be nice if you like a strong fruity tea.
