I like coconut flavoring, so this one was a go for me. The black base wasn't astringent either thankfully. It was good plain, but I preferred it with a little oat milk to add creaminess. I don't have any chocolate at hand, but I bet if you added some it would be like a Mounds bar in a cup. Oh yeah! Happy Sipping!

Smooth and creamy, the coconut balances out the bitterness of the Ceylon tea. (3 mins @ 200°F)

The Ceylon tea and coconut blend together to make a delicious cup of tea! Watch your brew time, it can get bitter quickly.

Even though I am not a huge fan of coconut, I really enjoyed the flavor of this tea.

Brewed at a lower temperature to ward off the Ceylon bitterness, it produced a lovely cup of tea. It has an enticing, sweet coconut aroma. the flavor of coconut is not overly strong, but has a great flavor.

I would suggest steeping this at 190°F to help lower Ceylon black tea bitterness … 10 Jul 2020 review: In the bag the aromas reminded me of coconut suntan lotion and the beach of all things! In the cup, slight coconut aromas and flavors were noted with Ceylon black tea flavors in the lead. Pleasant nutty coconut flavors started coming through stronger as the brew cooled to warm and carried all the way to end. I would not want to steep this any longer than 3 minutes as the main taste is the Ceylon black that would become too astringent. I added a little sugar to help counter any astringency from the tea and bring coconut flavors out more. This would make a great tea for blending with others. At finish, there was a very pleasant creamy mouthfeel. A great sip all the way. (3 mins @ 190°F, 1/4 tsp sugar)

The smell is a bit artificial, but the taste is okay. It's a bit light, so you can only just taste the coconut. It's okay. I didn't love it.

A deliciously light, almost buttery tea that pairs incredibly well wit ha sweetened cream. You can see some of the oils from the coconut pieces floating on the top of the cup, which add to the depth of flavor with their nutty sweetness.

I do not like eating coconut. Until recently, I tended to avoid coconut - but I have discovered I love coconut flavored things. This tea is a winner in my book. It may come off as strong to some, but that only makes me love it more.
I see some people have noted it tastes artificial, but I haven't had this issue. I don't like the texture of actual coconut, and coconut-flavored foods and drinks save me from this. It smells and tastes like coconut to me, without the funny texture that puts me off.
2021 CommuniTEA update: 2014 me had no appreciation for actual coconut, but 2021 me now loves the stuff. This tea reminded me of eating an almond joy. Or my favorite coconut oat bars. I brewed for 2.5 minutes at 212F and had no bitterness. It tastes smooth and creamy. Love it by itself or in a blend, especially with vanilla or almond.

I don't love coconut in tea unless it's just supporting other flavors. It does a great job in an ensemble, but when it tries to take a leading role it simply ruins the tea for me. Needless to say, this one is not a tea I'll ever willingly drink. I couldn't even finish the glass.

If you love coconut then this is the tea for you. I strongly dislike coconut and received this tea as a community tea. I would however drinking this tea iced and sweeten to really bring out the coconut on a hot day.

This was better iced, and cold brewed. The coconut flavor tastes slightly artificial but even so it’s still tasty.

Unfortunately I just can't stand this tea. It doesn't taste like coconut to me, it just has an artificial taste and smell to it and doesn't mix well with any of my other coconut teas.

Always a favorite as iced tea. Very refreshing for hot, muggy days of August. I do a quick hot brew with only about 2 cups of hot water, then fill the pitcher with cold water after a couple minutes. This allows the coconut to become very pronounced! Then put it in the fridge. Much better than a cold brew.

i first discovered coconut and tea for a white tea, but it's good no matter what and if you like to 'keto' it's good with a lil coconut oil to keep the appetite quelled

This is a solid coconut black tea, that really begs to be blended with other flavors: peach, pineapple, caramel, and more.

Smooth, mellow, and coconutty. This is a nice simple tea. I've been combining it with other simple teas I have. It's fine in its own right, but shines most when deployed in a mix.

I had to try this tea over and over to really come to a conclusion. The coconut flavor is weak and steeping longer only enhances the flavor of the ceylon. The addition of honey helps the coconut flavor come out a little more. Personally it's just too weak in coconut flavor to purchase again.

As it says on the tin, coconut and I loved it. I tried it with just the barest hint of cream and it was lovely. I m going to try it with a touch of coconut cream next time as someone I know suggested, but the coconut flavour in it is already lovely.

Sweet coconut sings brightly against the Ceylon, with no astringency or bitterness. The coconut adds a nice creaminess and sweetness to the cup, and isn't overbearing or out of balance. The combination is very pleasant and the mouthfeel is similar to when milk or cream is added. Coconut flavor persists through the second steep but much lighter. Great combination!

This is one of my new favorite teas! Best with a little bit of honey and no cream, the coconut adds it's own creaminess that's lost with any added. I like to brew a big pot, and enjoy hot, then save the rest later to drink cold. Amazing both ways.

When I first opened the package, I was overwhelmed by the coconut scent and I was very, very worried about how it would play into the flavor.

Fear not! What I ended up with was a perfectly flavored black tea.

I would consider it ideal for homemade boba, as it is reminiscent of a bubble tea shop. As someone who lives in an area boba isn't common, this allows me to complete my home kit. :)

I drink with almond milk and a hint of honey. (and boba, of course!)

The tea does lose a star because the coconut scent is very overwhelming when dry.
