Unfortunately, no coconut flavor in my opinion. I was really disappointed in this one. I've made it a few times trying different techniques to entice more flavor, but it just didn't happen. The first time I tried 212, 5 minutes. Then I tried same time, but additional tea. Then I tried a longer steep. Not for me.
This has a nice coconut flavor without being overpowering. It does have a tendency to be bitter though, despite steeping at a somewhat lower temperature. I think this would be much better cold brewed and used in blends versus straight up. I may try this tea again.

CommuniTEA sample: 3 min @ 212 F. I really appreciate how creamy this tea is. That little bit of coconut mixed in really adds a lot to the texture of the tea and helps balance out some of the astringency that you would find with Ceylon black teas. It's got some nice, mild sweetness as well! I think the natural fruity aspects of Ceylon do bring out a lot of pleasant flavors in the coconut as well, but overall, I found the Ceylon a bit too bitter for my liking.
A very pleasant coconut flavored black tea. It smells comforting and tropical and is quite relaxing and refreshing to drink. If you like coconut it is very likely that you will like this tea. 212F brewed for 3 minutes.
Mine didn't have any coconut chunks but it was plenty coconutty! Almost an almond-joy nuttiness, it's really rich, solid and nice.
A little one note but that's not always a bad thing <3

So after asking in the CT and reading reviews I decided to try this one hot and I backed off on the temp as many said over steeping was easily done. The tea was fragrant while steeping and very coconut forward and just the tiniest perhaps even welcome astringent feel. As it cooled more of the coconut flavor came forward. I look forward to next time experimenting with perhaps making it into an iced and possibly even creamy drink. 190° 3 minutes.

Mostly tastes like black tea with a slight aftertaste of coconut. I got a sample packet and there was only one visible piece of coconut, so maybe mine was just light on the coconut flavor.

Love this tea, it is just creamy enough to be like a treat, yet just fruity enough that I don't need sweetener or cream. A nice way to start the day.

This is a very strong black tea. I mainly tasted the coconut as an aftertaste. I didn’t find it to be as smooth as many of the other teas I’ve tried from Adagio. I didn’t dislike this tea, but the blend wasn’t what I was expecting. I would have preferred to have more balance between the black tea and coconut flavors. I guess I should have read the other reviews that recommended brewing at a lower temperature and for a shorter time.
I prefer this as an iced cold brew tea. Tasty and refreshing

I like this brew. Nice and coconut rich. More on savory side. I like to add this with other tea mixes to add in that profile. It is delicious alone as well. If you love coconut, this is the best I have found. Great with a splash of coconut creamer

In the bag, this tea is a bit fruity and smells like coconut, but it's subtle. There are plenty of sizable pieces of coconut in the bag too. After steeping, the smell is even more mild. It's like a black tea with a little 'something' else. Without sweetener, it's just okay. With about 1/4 to 1/2 tsp of vanilla syrup, it's more to my liking but it's still mainly 'alright'. Adding some milk is another possibility, or even flavored coffee creamer. I think I liked it more the first few times I tried it, but now I'm a little more indifferent. It was still worth trying, and some people that love black tea and coconut may like it more than I did.
One of my absolute favorites that I always have on hand! Super good on its own, with the coconut flavor being a perfect strength. I like mine with a touch of milk. Very good blended with other teas too!
I love coconut and this tea holds true to displaying it front and forward. I did brew less than 3 minutes and found it somewhat bitter. I would use less tea next time. I'm sure this blend would be delicious cold brewed overnight.
I thought this was a delicious, creamy coconut black tea. As many reviews have mention, Ceylon tea can easily become bitter, so I brewed at a lower then recommended temperature and it worked out wonderfully.
Wow really delicious if you like coconut - recommend sweetener as a flavor boost. Agree that it’s a great blend with Ceylon and glad there isn’t anything else in there.
Honestly, I was skeptical when I got this sample that I would like it; however, it has a fruity coconut flavor without the greasy, artificial taste that some coconut tea has. Delightful.
I like my tea black and this gives a weird aftertaste. Fine while drinking but the aftertaste is bleh. Other folks say it’s better with cream but that’s not how I drink my tea.

Nice coconut flavor coming through the black tea. It has a bit of a bite to it because of the Ceylon, but a splash of cream or milk should soften it up. I like using this in various blends. All in all, it's a decent flavored black tea.
I agree with Jim's review where he stated its best to brew this at lower temp and not for too long...it has the potential of being very astringent if you're not careful, and you'll want to avoid that in order to get the most out of the coconut flavor. It's good, if you love all things coconut, you'll probably like it. There's nothing wrong with it, I'm just not super excited by the coconut flavor. I will say it doesn't taste artificial or like suntan lotion or anything. It's gonna be really good in blends!
Love the touch of coconut but would appreciate a creamier taste to offset the bitterness of the base tea. Or maybe I steeped it too long.
A very flavorful (not artificial tasting) coconut black tea. When brewed properly, it's smooth and coconuty. This is good iced and used as a base for Boba tea.
The light flavor of coconut does not overpower this tea. It blends well with cream or caramel teas.

I'm a huge fan of coconut, but hadn't tried a simple coconut tea before. I enjoyed this as a nice baseline tea. I like adding a bit of cream or creamer to my tea and I've found this to be a pleasant tea to do that with.

One of my go to teas. Nice real coconut flavor. Doesn’t need any sweetener or anything. Don’t steep for too long or too hot - will taste bitter.

Not much of a coconut flavor at all, in fact there were very few coconut chips in the bag at all. I will blend it with something else to use it up.

I initially tried this sweetened with Splenda. I think this one may be better with some honey and milk. It is a strong tea. Will try this some other ways.
