Great cinnamon flavor. Perfect as is but I love to blend this tea into other teas like rooibos orange. The combinations you can make are endless.

I ordered several types of black test and this was my husbands favorite...and he wasn't a tea drinker. Great tea!

★★★★★

excellent cinnamon flavor. It is very warming on a cool morning or evening. My daughter was having a slight tummy issue so I gave her this tea with milk and honey. It helped her feel better and she was able to nap.
Such a perfect drink after a morning of snow shoveling. So warming.

Love cinnamon in almost anything so I knew going on this one would be great for me. Cinnamon is forefront as it has little to compete with here in flavor. It is warm and spicy and sweet even. I added nothing to my cup. For me this is a 5 star tea, but I am not blind to a probably obvious drawback and that is it is a little one note done well. There are not a ton of layers going on it just picked a flavor and did it well. I will say that using a Ceylon base it does get a bit of those faint cocoa notes and that works really well as a pair to the spice. Looking forward to more of this in the future. 212° 4 min.

This is one of the first CommuniTEA selections I've not enjoyed. Yes, there was cinnamon on the front end, but for me it turned sour. Trying to sweeten it only made it worse.

For me, this is a good black tea. Occasionally I get a hint of the cinnamon but just barely. If I am having a cinnamon tea, I want a strong cinnamon flavor. I brewed it 3 minutes and then let it go longer to see if it helped, but it didn’t.

I enjoyed this tea - it had a nice, sweetly cinnamon taste that wasn't overpowering.

The cinnamon in this tea is very subtle. I tried some of the suggestions in the reviews, such as cream and sugar, to see if I could coax some of the cinnamon flavor out of it, but no luck. For a strong cinnamon flavor, try Samurai Mate, masala chai, or Raja oolong chai

As a black tea my cup was very smooth and unoffending, great for casual drinking. But for a cinnamon tea, though, I was hoping it would be more offending, so next time I plan on adding some extra spice!

★★★☆☆

Kind of weak and I let it steep for a while after I thought the same from the recommended amount of time. It does taste of cinnamon but I wasn't particularly enthused or impressed by it.

This is good for fall! I like the cinnamon. I am more of a white tea drinking so this was a change for me. I like how the flavors blended. I think it needs a little more cinnamon.

as far as a cup of black tea, this is good... but for the name, I want more cinnamon presence!

CommuniTEA sample; 3 min @ 195 F. I would probably give this four and a half stars if I could. The cinnamon works well to cut through some of the bitter aspects of the Ceylon, especially when brewed at this lower temperature. It's not too strong, mildly sweet and warm, I got too good infusions out of it.

Almost like a classic masala black tea than the strong punchy cinnamon flavor I was hoping for. This one didn’t do it for me cinnamon-wise but is still a nice black tea.

A little weak for my tastes, but I prefer my tea on the strong side. Otherwise, it’s good.

I love cinnamon. I wish this option was more cinnamon-y. I know - from the smell - that the fiery spice cinnamon has the spicier cinnamon flavor but I'm allergic to cloves and can't enjoy that one. So, I add Vietnamese cinnamon to this brew.

Love the cinnamon flavor and richness for my morning tea. It has a smooth fresh taste that makes it comforting.

Very good - I like to put a teaspoon tip in with my favorite mixes to give it a bit of a cinnamon undertone.

This cinnamon tea was scrumptious and made even more cinnamon-y by me adding in some coffee cake flavored non-dairy creamer. Went great with leftover birthday cake for breakfast. 😁

This was a whole lot milder than I was worried it would be. When I saw it in the stack this morning I commented to my husband it might go to him after I try it. I am okay with heavily spiced tea but straight cinnamon or clove are a not really my thing (he however is all for it). The cinnamon scent was stronger than the taste and after a bit of honey and some frothed oat milk this was really nice. Brewed at 204 degrees for 3 minutes.

Oct 28, 2024: Still not a very strong cinnamon flavor, disappointing if that's what you're after, but a nice subtly sweet black tea on it's own.

Oct 5, 2021: Opening the packet, I barely got any scent of cinnamon. The brew itself mostly tasted like black tea. The flavor wasn't bad, it just wasn't cinnamon. Even as someone looking for a lighter/sweeter cinnamon flavor, it just wasn't there for me. Ended up mixing in some brown sugar and powdered cinnamon from my pantry just to get some cinnamon flavor in there.

I was a little reluctant to try this tea at first...I like cinnamon in small quantities in my food primarily (ie cinnamon rolls and children's cereals lol) but where I was expecting this to be overwhelming cinnamon it was actually quite light in flavor. Not too light, I wouldn't necessarily call it weak, but it's not a fiery spicy, nor is it chai like or particularly powerful, just a gentle cinnamon. As others have said, it would be good in blending or with a hint of cream. Not bad! Not something I would go out of my way to reorder, but pleasantly surprised.

This tea is the perfect one for when you don’t want a cinnamon as strong as fiery cinnamon spice! It is a delightful tasting tea

A very cinnamon smelling tea packet, but in the best way. This tea surprised me, I was expecting a hot punch of cinnamon, like a Redhot candy, but it was actually more of a cinnamon roll, pleasantly sweet yet warming. This blend was even better after I let it cool and added some sweet coconut creamer to it.

I love cinnamon and this tea is delicious however I think in a blend is how this tea really stands out on its own. I just want more.

Today's sample included one tiny piece of a cinnamon bark bit so I am unable to give a great review. Sadly I am missing the cinnamon essence all together. No aroma of cinnamon, nor a taste of it. The black tea has the flavor I know and love all on it's own. I expect had there been cinnamon in my sample that I would have loved this blend as others have posted they do. Cinnamon does make for a great warming tea in my opinion.

Such a nice mellow cup of tea, perfect for this gorgeous fall morning, I only had 2 pieces of cinnamon in my packet but it was enough to give this blend a subtle and delicious finish

Don't go into this tea expecting an explosive cinnamon flavor. This is a black tea first and a cinnamon tea second. The cinnamon is a soft, mellow accompaniment. A pleasant brew.

Two ratings for this one. On its own, this tea is only okay to me-- the cinnamon flavoring is a bit different/off in comparison with actual cinnamon. However, I do find this tea useful and tasty in blends. I much prefer chai teas which have cinnamon flavoring versus spice flavoring. So, I've averaged my 2 ratings-- 3 stars for okay on its own, 5 stars for great in blends-- and have given it 4 stars for good.

This one ended up being more bland than I expected. It's basically a less interesting Thai Chai, though I'm sure I can mix it with some other teas to make a nice combination.

Just ordered this tea as a sample and it instantly became one of my favorites. I Just recently ordered it in the larger bag. It is so delicious. Not a strong regular cinnamon flavor, it's a little different and I absolutely love it. Don't be afraid to try it.

This has a nice cinnamon flavor without being too overpowering. It goes well with chocolate, so I would definitely mix this with chocolate teas. I tried this one hot with milk and sweetner. Great for cookie dunks!!

I got this to mix with other flavors and it's good for that. I tried it with just a little milk and it was too overpowering of a cinnamon flavor.

I originally had this is an old blend I love, and it really is amazing for a winter tea. I just wish this specific cinnamon tea had a decaf option, as it's really too strong for me to enjoy often and I had to split it with a family member.

Amazing tea, drink it for PCOS… and I have it instead of coffee. It also smells amazing, and I add some milk 😊

Delicious cinnamon aroma coming from my communiTEA packet this morning. Once brew the cinnamon flavor and aroma is mellow and buttery and blends well with the full body and bright flavor of the Ceylon. I was surprised of the mellow flavor after tasting Fiery Cinnamon Spicy, I was expecting something similar, and I got a much cozier, mellow cinnamon. To enjoy in the evening, by the fireplace.

This tea I must say that I prefer it after my cup cools off. The cinnamon flavor is more pronounced for me when the tea has cooled off completely.

This tea is like a warm hug from a mischievous cinnamon wizard! With each sip, I felt like I was being transported to a land of spicy goodness, doing a little happy dance in my taste buds. It's the perfect cup to brighten up any dreary day, and it definitely gave my giggles a spicy kick!

Decent cinnamon flavor and good black tea, but it fell short of my expectations - probably because I’ve had too much pumpkin spice and chai blends lately. Still, it’s great for blending. I think I prefer the fiery cinnamon, just my preference. Steeped 3 mins @ 200°

A touch of cinnamon livens up this bright Ceylon tea. As a black tea fan, I enjoyed this subtle but tummy warming sip with a pleasant spice presence at the finish.

My CT packet had 3 g. of dark tea leaves with a scattering of cinnamon chips. The mild scent of cinnamon let me know the spice wouldn't be overwhelming in the brewed tea. Brewed 10 oz. at 208*F for 3 min. to make a medium brown liquor that had some pleasant astringency and a gentle cinnamon taste. Adding agave to sweeten brought out the cinnamon flavor more. In the resteep, the main taste was the Ceylon black tea with a whisper of spice warmth.

Chilled, the cinnamon flavor shined in the cold tea. If you enjoy iced teas with a kick, this is a good one to chill. Hot, this is a friendly and companionable sip when you're not in the mood for a full wattage spice experience like Fiery Cinnamon or chai but want just a touch of spice.
